Noonan's belch echoes through the chamber, bouncing back and forth and assaulting all who hear it.
Those of you of a good nature however are heartened by it, reminded of a great home-cooked meal and your beverage of choice.
Meanwhile you see five tears in reality open briefly where nothing had existed and five extraplanar beings are hurled back to whence they came.
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Oops - sorry I missed all of them being poofed! And then lost my post...was going to ask if the first one saved with the 20
Dwalindor waits then sniffs. Um, Noonan. What did you do to them? Are they all gone? I cannot smells them anymore.
He will search around the pyramid (walking clockwise).
search: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (17) + 22 = 39 +2 vs stone
DMummy |
You find nothing around the pyramid - the strange glowing hieroglyphs throughout the chamber however seem to almost bend towards the small pyramid itself.
The hieroglyphs are strange, even for a language as esoteric as Ancient Osiriani.
If you want to know more from the hieroglyphs, roll Linguistics!
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
would a helm of comp Lang work?
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Rats! :)
Noonan...Tariq. What are all these cartoons?
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Well, you just belched on it. If that ain't gonna do something, not sure what else will.
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Dwalindor follows and heads down the next corridor with Noonan.
Slow down old man. Can't have you wandering off and gettin' into trouble and not sharing it with the rest of us!
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Dwalindor shrugs and heads east as Noonan points.
Works for me.

A sarcophagus of white marble sits alone in the middle of this immense chamber. The coffin’s lid hovers in the air a few feet above the open sarcophagus. To the north and south sides of the room, fountains lit by softly glowing radiance bubble and churn, sending rippling reflections up along the alabaster-tiled walls.
Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
Sorry guys I was super sick for a week. Tariq reads and writes ancient Orisani

”Uh, guys. The Sarcophagus is open . . . You think that thing we saw lurking a couple a rooms back came out of this?”
Tariq snatches a glance behind them.

Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Dunno. Can you sense any vibes or such around here? I ain't sayin' it ain't what we already seen. But it could still be lurking around here too.
Dwalindor will sniff around for any trouble. (no scent, since not in rage, but just following his nose)

”A HAH! I suspected as much! These stairs are fakes! “
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
” Right! That’s uh what I said. These statutes are so fake they look like stairs!“
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Dwalindor will move within 10' and give one of the fake stair/statues a poke with his hammer.
A couple good smacks with Amanda here, and stairs or statues...they will just be rubble.
DMummy |
The stone warps around the statue and suddenly the figure of a mummified harpy appear shrieking, reaching for Dwalindor's blood.
Meanwhile a creature stands from the sarcophagus.
"Fools!" she cries as she unsheathes a khopesh, "The Sky Pharaoh shall have your heads by my hand and I will be rewarded for my faith! Soon Osirion will rise under his command and all shall bow before him!"

He rages after 5' step back and slams the mummy harpy a few times for good measure.

Catching monster before it can attack, Tariq unleashed upon it with the holy attack magic granted by the cleric.

Fools! You'll soon pay for the temerity of entering my resting place!
In a whoosh of smoke the gorgon statue you ignored earlier appears behind you, breathing foul vapors.
Now you, dwarf...kneel before me and beg forgiveness!
The force of the mummy's voice strikes you Dwalindor, rolling over you. Honed over the din of countless battles for her master it compels you to do as she commands.
