Tariq corners the monster with Dwalindor's help and slashes and jabs at it repeatedly, trying to destroy the monster - but the monster stays up until Dwalindor brings his hammer down on top of the head of the mummy to pulverize it into the dust.

The echo of the blows carries down the hallway but leaves you in quiet - the hallway itself beckons you forward.

Items! +1 leather lamellar, +2 heavy wooden shield, +1 composite longbow (+5 str) with arrows, +1 khopesh, and each have a stone fang about the size of a dagger.

You don't notice any mechanical aspects of the heiroglyphs Noonan - and this is a magical flying tomb so the heiroglyph may want you to do something else. But remember it's from the time of Ancient Osirion so you'd want to do it as a person in that time period.

Tariq spends a good deal of time looking over the hallway then borrows some esoteric components and begins to draw intricate patterns over the walls to interfere with the magical trap placed in the hallway.

He's not sure what it does - something about acid and a fancy, silly sounding equation - but he's pretty certain it's disabled.

The room to the west has a statue sitting at the back of it, the path to the east shifts from worked stone to some sort of strange, curnving tunnel that shifts back and and forth in the stone (not as in moving, as in zigzagging slightly).
