It seems the only person not returned is Elise. I looked through all her aliases, and it seems she hasn't posted in a few weeks, without explanation of where she's gone. Would it be okay to bot her for the chase and make a decision when it's done if we haven't heard from her?

Bad news time...
I know I just tried to get this going again, but I don't think I can do it and do some other things that I want to do, and that could potentially lead to a career shift for me. So, I'm putting this game, and all my other ones, on indefinite hiatus.
Why?
Well, to keep it brief, I've been working on a comic idea the past week or so that I've had for a few years now. I work on it when I get home which is when I'd normally write GM posts, since those posts take more time and when I'm at work, I can't take that amount of time from work to do even one post, much less four of them. So, as much as I want to keep this and the other games alive, I'm going to have to shelve it.
I am really sorry to you guys, and I hope that I can get these going again one day. I just don't know if or when I can.
All that said, if you guys are interested. I'll be releasing the comic on the web. and if you guys want to see it, I'll post a link to it once I get it going. As I said, I hope that one day, I'll be able to come back to these games. Until then, I hope you guys have a good time and enjoy yourself.

No worries Adam - can completely understand, you know where we are if things change, but regardless hope you have success with the comic - will definitely check it out.

You're right... now that I read it, my statement was ambiguous. What I meant was that I too was on hiatus until recently.

Woo! Glad to hear that. So we're only missing Cal and Paul. I am in some games that Paul's player is in/GMs, and he hasn't posted in a little while. That makes me think we may not be hearing from him soon. I'll check on Cal's player again, but it looks like we may be down two players.

Referring to the Chase rules; is the 'gaining 1 point for overcoming 2 obstacles in a round' cumulative, or do we merely need to just make 2 obstacles?
It's just overcome 2 obstacles. If I list multiple, it's to offer a choice. However, because I said you do get a chase point for getting the imp to attack the thugs chasing you, there is a possibility of getting two this round. You do have to make up your mind about which one you are attempting before rolling (Sorry Rhasuel.) You can still attempt it, not everyone has posted.
Speaking of posting. I've gotten in touch with Cal's player. Life's being hectic for him right now, so he may be sporadic in his posting for a bit, but he is interested in continuing. That means we have 7 out of 8, and the one person we're missing hasn't been posting in his games or in games he's in. I just want to thank you guys for your eagerness. It means a lot when your players jump back in like this. :)
Can someone give me a quick rundown on is presently happening in-character? Is Elise present during this current chase, or was she parked elsewhere? Just trying to get my bearings after so many months.
All characters are still present. The party is currently running from a band of thugs known as the Korvosan Crusaders while protecting four wounded hellknights and a badly injured page that Zev is carrying. You went looking for the Hellknights in return for the Hellknight commander's cooperation concerning some of the Korvosan Guard that had found themselves being opposed by the Order of the Nail. This, and finding the page the Zev is carrying were the reasons Cressida sent you to the Hellknights in the first place.
I hope that helps everyone understand what's going on.

Okay, I think the mood is leaning to wrapping this up, so, I'll be doing that some time tonight.
Due to a situation that has come up, Ronnie (Nicoletta's player) will not be posting for a bit. I've already agreed to GMPC Nic for the time being.
The details are Ronnie's to post, and she is free to do so if she wishes. Whether or not she does, I hope that you guys will all be supportive of her and be there for her as best you can. I'll be leaving her spot open for her until she feels that she is ready to come back. I know that I will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope you guys do the same (though I don't doubt that you will.)
Expect a post sometime tonight. (A game post form me, I mean.) Not sure when, though.
Reading back through things to get a bearing on where we were was really quite enjoyable.

She, like everyone here, brings so much to the virtual table in terms of both gaming and good people. She'll be greatly missed while she's gone and welcomed heartily back when she returns :)
The other day, I broke up with my partner of six years. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but for our individual mental health, it was necessary. Neither of us were mentally well, I'm diagnosed depressed, and though he wouldn't see a doctor, I suspected he was as well.
So, we split. I have a lot of pieces to put back together, and no idea how to start it.
All that aside, I'm still here. I'll hang out in Discussion, and I'll jump into gameplay if I feel I can get into character. If I can't, I'll just say something like "I'll bluff our way in" or "have me charge that guy at the front" in here.
Leave a light on. I'll be coming and going for a while, but never far from home.

I don't mind if you're snippy. Communication is more important. Let us know what you're thinking, what you're feeling. The more we know, the more understanding we can be. It will dispel a lot of frustration that can happen.

Okay, here's the break down for retraining.
Time: 10 Days to go from a Bard 2 to a Sorcerer 2
Cost: 10 * 10 days * 2 levels = 200 GP
Also, since things have come out since we started. I'm allowing the Background skills system + Artistry and Lore as well as the Unchained classes from Pathfinder Unchained.
Nope, that's seperate,, RAW, but I'm going to say that you can do that for free when you retrain your levels.
Don't worry, we just need to wrap up this scene and you'll have enough downtime.
