I want to apologize for how slow things have been. It's my fault and I know that. This week I'm going to concentrate on getting things ready for the next parts in all of my games and getting things rolling again.
I'm sorry for how things have been dragging. It's not fair to you guys, and if I could afford it, I'd get all of you something from your wishlists to make up for it.
Don't worry, I'm not abandoning the game or going on hiatus for a little bit. I'm just going to try and get things ready ahead of time, as well as write down some of my ideas.

Hey, Cal! Which poet are you quoting? Or are you writing this yourself? I like to think of myself as a poetry buff, but I don't recognise it.
That's G.K. Chesterton's the Ballad of the White Horse. It's a pretty cool poem, I thought anyway. Here's a link. I was thinking of doing sections of it at a later date too, since it's so long, there's lots of possibility within it for appropriate sections to be quoted at opportune times. I like Shakespeare, which I did in the last battle, but doing just Shakespeare might get dull after a while. There's quite a few masters of their craft out there.
I'm partial to Wilde and Keats, myself. I also adore Poe, but he's rather moody. "The Ballad of Reading Gaol" is one of my favourite poems.

Sorry for the radio silence, the baby did indeed make her appearance earlier this week... needless to say, it has been a whirlwind since.

For the record, when retrieving arrows or bolts, I think low is success. So 1-50, you get it; 51-100, it's destroyed.
Not that it seems to be a problem at this precise moment, but for the next three weeks, my posting rate is likely to decrease. My smartphone is irreparably damaged, so I'm using an oooooold backup phone until my contract gives me a free upgrade in three weeks. No camera, no connectivity, no browser, nothing - so no posting while I'm out. Please be patient with me; I'm not vanishing altogether, I'll just be a bit slow.
Remember slow is smooth and smooth is fast El Ronza :)

You get two tries to overcome an obstacle as a group, so each of you can roll for both if you want.

Things are returning to a normal pace, so you can expect to see me posting again with regularity... thanks for your patience!
Well, as you may have noticed, I've not been posting regularly in game for a few weeks. I was going to try and get things rolling again this weekend, but as you can see, I haven't made a lot of progress on that front either.
That said, I'm not abandoning this or any of the other three games. I will, however, be taking a break for a bit. I have some vacation time coming up on the 13th and 14th of July, so I'll be using that weekend to get ahead with some preparations and to resume posting. I know this is frustrating, but I'd rather take a short break and get back into things than to get totally burned out and not come back for a few months.
Sorry to do this, but it won't be long.
