Yorikata tells Othdan to lead the way to his parents house. She wants to meet his parents to check if his story was true. Not that she suspects him to be on the side of whatever evil lurks in Trunau. But you never know and one of the group voiced concerns so better be safe than sorry.


Othdan leads you to his parents shop, when he enters his mothers face is full of relief to see her son again, his father looks up from his work and is stern on his son but gives him a hug that looks genuine.

"Thank you for returning our son, he left the night of Rubies Hopeknife ceremony and we were very concerned that he was injured or worse."

That makes sense if we have some idea where they are, but right now for all we know they could still be there. All we know is they don't like people poking around there at this point and they clearly know who is there. But until we know how it will be hard to set a trap.

Balder goes back to the secret tunnel he found, opening the door he peers down the tunnel seeing only cobwebs and such.

Seeing the cobwebs Lanneth looks more closely to see if this passage looks like it's been used recently.

The tunnel leads about 25' back towards the way you came, it stops at what looks like the back of a statue.

Then he puts his shoulder to the statue and tries to see if it moves. He's not gonna move it completely, but wants to get the weight of the thing.

Balder pushes the statue out of the way, as he does whatever is in the room that he saw begins to wiggle itself toward the now moved statue.

Not sure what the white block is in front of the statue, but Balder is gonna try push the statue to fall onto the Cube. Not sure what I have to roll but I'll do a Strength and Attack roll

"Oh balls it's moving! Gaaahhhh!"

With that balder heaves the statue as best his can to try topple it onto the now moving green cube.

Not sure what the damage would be if I even hit.


The white block would be where you moved the statue too, you can roll 1d10 + your strength

Lanneth looks at the thing that's moving from back near the corner.

Hmmm. Anyone know what that thing is? She asks curiously as she backs up and watches what the thing does ready to hex it if it seems to be threatening any of her companions.

Yorikata grabs Balder and pulls him back into the secret corridor, closing the door behind them. "If you think this thing needs to be put to an end, we should find someone who knows what it is first."

As Balder is getting pulled away he yelps "But..but.. I had it! Aw nuts."


THere is no way to close the door now since Balder pushed the statue over onto the Gelatinous cube.

Balder heaves and his muscles strain for a second before he manages to push the statue onto the creature, as the statue knocks away some portion of the creature Balder notes what looks like a skeleton floating in the creature, most of what would have been the gear the skeleton was wearing is gone but the suit of mail survives.

The cube move forward towards where it feels that it needs to give someone a big acidic hug. The Cube moves up to the secret entrance and begins to squeeze it's way in.

Balder see's the cube start squeezing through and see's the floating skeleton in armor... "Ooh look at that armour... oh balls it's coming after us! What the hell is that thing! Move move move!" Balder says and retreats. Grabbing Lanneth over his shoulder and Yorika under his arm if they're in the way, and hightailing it.

'Sorry ladies, don't mean to be improper but we gotta go!"

can't see where the tunnel comes out on the map but if you can move me/us as far as we can go that would be swell.


Moved on the Map

The Ooze gives chase down the tunnel but it is much slower than Balder even with the ladies being carried along.
