Crossing the plank is difficult terrain. So double squares. You can technically move 12 squares in 1 round (Lorlenn has his spell active still, I believe) if you double move.
EDIT: Was able to check the map. Braelex is standing in the door threshold, Fulmen is still on the plank. There is no floor against the north wall at all.

Back home, so can give you better depiction of things. In game terms, you are tactically located as depicted above. Relan's plan earlier will work fine if someone (i.e. Braelex) opens the door with a move action. You can move through friendly people's spaces but for anyone passing someone else on the plank, it will require an extra DC 5 Acrobatics check from the person being passed (DC 10 if not holding on the rope). Cool? Tight fit in this 15x20 room with no floor and one 15 foot plank crossing the sludge (5' below it). Note that Andel and Clarence cannot see the sludge level from where they are. Lorlenn can.

Fortified Position
Braelex throws open the door, crossbow at the ready. She glances in to see the floor of this room has fallen away, leaving a narrow, charred ledge along the south and east walls. To the northwest, a ledge heaped with crates and barrels sits, while above the rafters of the attic lay bare to view. Two goblins pop up over the barrels and aim monstrous crossbows at the tiefling.
The noises from the pipes get louder.

Braelex mutters a vile curse in Abyssal, moves in and around the door, pulling it back in front of her as she leans against the wall. She takes out a bomb flask and hurls it across the room.
Hoping for at least partial cover behind the door...

@Relan: Sorta, not really. It's actually at your turn in the order and the Filth Flingers and Jousters won't appear until next round (the noise in the pipes is their action this round). When Braelex opened the door and brought in another set of monsters it triggered initiative. Since you were waiting to move until she opened the door, here we are

Fulmen will finish crossing the plank. Upon seeing the goblins hunkered down across the room he will cast Obscuring Mist to surround the area in a thick fog so those outside 5ft won't be able to target us.
It's a 20ft radius and 20ft high so should cover most of the party. The goal here is to allow the group to finish crossing the plank while the fog protects them from ranged attacks. It'll also provide cover from the crossbowmen.

Fortified Position Round 1

Several voices can now be heard from the pipes mixing Goblin and Common, shrill and filled with malice, a few phrases of common catch your attention.
"I smell horsies and humies!"
"I don't like horsies ... you got da stick?"
"Got da stick, got the stickers, jus need da stickies!"
On the far side of the northern room, the goblin archers fire the crossbows that are nearly the same size as them. With a tremendous twang, the recoil shakes them violently. One bolt flies way wide as the goblin falls backward under the force of the crossbow. The other holds his down and Braelex just barely steps out of the way. The creature yells, "Stoopid devil-girl, I stick you next time!"
as he moves to duck down behind the crate.
Braelex steps forward and with a quick toss chases the ducking goblin with a fire bomb, and the creature screams as his sewage-drenched clothes light up like a match and he burns falling to the ground in convulsions. His neighbor rolls out of the way of most of the splash, patting himself and pulling his crossbow with him. He hides completely behind the crate. (total cover)
The rest of the party gets bottle-necked at the plank and Fulmen's tentative fumbling slows the quicker reactions of the others but eventually almost everyone gets across. Fulmen begins casting his spell at the door, making room for the others to spill to the left and right of the open door. He finishes his incantation and mist flows out in all directions, filling most of the room to the south and penetrating up into the exposed rafters of the room to the north. You can make out the shapes of those standing next to each of you, but everything else is lost in the thick white fog. Clarence is most of the way across the plank, which bows dangerously under his considerable weight, when the spell goes off. Slowing down he inches forward carefully in the mist.
Relan you can pick what square you want to be in on the northern side for your actions. I'll place Lorlenn and Andel just inside the door. Fulmen is in the door right behind Braelex who is one square north.
Fortified Position Round 2
Clarence hears four splashes to his east before everyone hears an ear-splitting "CHAAAARGE!". The trapper looks down as what looks like the non-business end of a broom stick appears out of the mist, followed by the goblin holding it couched like a lance. That goblin is riding the shoulders of another goblin who is bulling forward through the sewage up to his shoulders. He moves with speed and the plank flies out from underneath the large man. Clarence nimbly holds on to the rope which springs taught as he hangs by 1 hand a couple feet above the muck.
Just before two goblins holding round pouches of sludge appear nearby, Clarence hears from the west, "Oooo ... hit em wit da stick. Mebbe candy falls out!", followed by snickers and laughs from all. The two goblins reach back to throw their pouches, but one falls in the muck and the other launches his hand forward but the pouch falls straight down behind him, comically.

Braelex slinks around the outside of the room, taunting the goblin who screams back, "You not my friend! You not her friend! Silence, I kill you!" The sounds of a crossbow crank come across the gap. Relan creeps up beside the tiefling.
Fulmen moves back to the entry way and reaches his quarterstaff back to Clarence who is still hanging on the rope. The big man fires his crossbow point blank into one of the goblin's chests while the one with the broom handle takes a swing at him smacking him across the backside. He turns throws his crossbow up,and then grabs Fulmens staff. Immediately, Lorlenn pulls Fulmen back and Andel throws the door shut.

Shrieks and shouts can be heard from the other side of the door.
"Climb up!"
"Find em, save the queen!"
From behind the barricade, the second goblin archer pops up to fire and Braelex lets fly with a crossbow bolt, but the goblin is ready dodging to the right and setting its crossbow up in time to catch a bolt in the eye from Relan, sending it crashing to the ground.

Braelex takes a moment to stare around while the others gather themselves. The mist still occupies most of the room. There is no obvious away across except climbing up to the rafters above, some of which look as if they've seen a light fire or smoke.

Fulmen stands guard to the west of the door as Relan takes position to the east. Lorlenn and Clarence (who recovers his crossbow) move around to the northeast to join Bralex and the big man braces the door.

You hear creaks in the rafters above you
You hear slight mouth breathing on the other side of the southern door
You spot a goblin sneaking along the rafters and crossing into the northern room
The southern door flies open loudly and suddenly and a goblin tumbles through coming to his feet with a look of surprise on his face, obviously expecting more resistance. His surprise is frozen in death as he is bashed on the head and stabbed in the chest by Fulmen and Relan.

Braelex and Clarence, both train their crossbows in the rafters above, hunting. Lorlenn coughs as he presses up against the side of the wall, looking somewhat green. Andel pulls a dagger and also waits with baited breath.
Fortified Position Round 5
The rafters creak again and Fulmen catches a burlap sack in the face. The rotten material bursts out and he's shredded with small bits of glass and a ton of semi-dry sewage and goblin feces.
Above Clarence and Braelex a goblin creeps out on the beam, tossing two reddish balls down with both hands toward the sewage. The tiefling and human fire crossbow bolts, both hitting the beam the creature is hunkered behind. The two balls buzz and spin into hideous looking 4-winged giant mosquito-like creatures.
