Tactical decision team, do we want to rest before we try to take out the medusa?

If we decide to rest, we can search the charred domitories and then the un-named building and then rest in here with Casimir. If we decide to go after her, we should go straight into the refrectory...

I have used my few daily abilities - just two really; Haste and enchanting my weapon - and so am out of those resources. But assuming Casamir can heal us all to full I do not mind continuing. But I am a fighter. Its the rest of the group that needs to decide if they have enough resources. Do we want to do the blindfold thing or just divert our eyes? Any spells that might make a difference like echolocation or the like?

I'm happy to continue. Braelex hasn't expended much in the way of resources so far. But like Relan said, we need a medusa strategy before we move out. Do we have any mirrors?

Got 1 good trick for a medusa & friends: Major Image.

Suddenly, all of the opposition is wearing prisoner control hoods which for some reason are impossible to remove...

While they do get a save, if they fail their save, they are blind... but even if they make their save, we can choose to fail our saves vs this illusion, and thus can't meet the medusa's gaze. It does mean that I'm stuck concentrating on the illusion - so no more spells from me that encounter (which, beyond the cheese factor, is why I avoid using major image to destroy encounters).

Ok, so we are going looking for the medusa... I strongly suspect that this is a "boss" fight for the upper levels. After this, I suspect we will need to rest for the day...

@Fflash, roughly how long has elapsed since we D-Door'ed into the gatehouse? (I am trying to figure out what buffs are still potent.)

Hey team. I'm in the middle of a last.minute move across country AND my computer bitlockered itself early.last week and I haven't had the opportunity to get it fixed/wiped.

I have phone access but it is terrible for combat. Bear with me this month. I'll post when able but its gonna be tight until we settle in 1st week of August.

Ah, I had asked a question about the last mummy. If our GM forgot to let it act I may need another will save before I act.


Still moving and working on getting the computer fixed. Moving a family across the nation and transitioning from 1 high profile job to another while in the midst of a bizarre housing market and a notable lack of long haul drivers for moving companies is consuming my world.

I have not forgotten you (or any of my other games), I just need the month to get back level. Will keep you informed.


The move is going well. We have transitioned to our new location. Accept the house and start the new job tomorrow. Movers come up Wednesday and hopefully have wifi by the weekend. Should be up to normal speed in a week or 2.
