Yeah there's some pretty deadly stuff in parts of the AP, so far you've done well with most of those. I think the revenant was a bit over the top but with luck we can make this beneficial to the story. I'll try to foreshadow better anything that's particularly deadly.

Oh Momijii it turns out the dead have dreams... I'll need a little time to prepare but your trip to Phrasma's realm is likely to prove eventful.

I've been re-reading the later books. It's a ways off but Agrippa I think you're going to enjoy book 3! If a certain mechanic works as well as I hope, I'm planning on expanding upon it for the subsequent books. I think it will answer one problem that players worried about when I was recruiting that with no full casters the party wouldn't have access to certain expected abilities (e.g. fast magical travel). This won't be a problem, and with luck the alternative will be flavorsome and memorable :)

Remind me if I forget, but next time we have a combat I think I'm going to try listing the monster's AC & CMD and SR when applicable. I know some DMs like to keep that "secret" to prevent power attack metagaming (to be fair this was a much bigger deal in 3.5). But Samnell does that in his campaigns, if anyone is metagaming - I've not noticed it. The benefit is it lets the players write more "cinematic" actions to explain how they come to hit or miss.

What do y'all think?

GM, Filbert's 8hp force ward is down to 3 but regenerates 2hp each minute if given the chance, granted he has 8 NL damage while using force ward this way.

Standard Force Ward gives him 1 hp/level(4) + 2 hp/burn (2 burn currently) total 8 temp hp. Hit considered a miss if it doesn't exceed the temp hit points from Force Ward.
Additional, standard regeneration is 1hp/minute, for every 2 points of burn accepted the regeneration increases by 1hp, currently at 2hp regen/minute.

And sorry had forgotten to update the temp hp listed in his stat line (was showing 6hp) have updated now.

Luxina, i've done what you said about the social take 10, throughout my games as well, but recently i've seen people take 10 on social rolls in a few different games (both as player and GM), and diplomacy doesn't mention, like Use Magic Device, that take 10 is off the table.

Take 10 mentions a skill check may be made that way if not within danger/(or while distracted).
But either way, it's up to the Fangdragon.

Attempt a trip combat maneuver check against each target damaged by your infused blast, using your Constitution modifier instead of your Strength modifier to determine your Combat Maneuver Bonus.

Infusion Specialization(Ex):

At 5th level, whenever a kineticist uses one or more infusions with a blast, she reduces the combined burn cost of the infusions by 1. This can’t reduce the total cost of the infusions used below 0.

She reduces the burn cost by 1 additional point at 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 20th levels.

Metekinesis(Su):

At 5th level, a kineticist gains the ability to alter her kinetic blasts as if with metamagic feats by accepting burn. By accepting 1 point of burn, she can empower her kinetic blast (as if using Empower Spell). At 9th level, by accepting 2 points of burn, she can maximize her kinetic blast as if using Maximize Spell. At 13th level, by accepting 3 points of burn, she can quicken her kinetic blast as if using Quicken Spell.

At 17th level, by accepting 4 points of burn, the kineticist can use her kinetic blast twice with the same standard action, or swift action if she also uses metakinesis to quicken the blast.

When she uses a double kinetic blast, all modifications, such as metakinesis and infusions, apply to both of the blasts, but the kineticist needs to pay the burn cost only once.
