The white-haired bastard of a madwoman, Nathaniel was bullied and beaten by the villagers and starved by his glassy-eyed mother, and became a thin and withdrawn youth. His only solace was his father, a travelling mage, who had known his mother before she had been struck down. Many had seen his father call up fireballs and black lightning, and the fear kept him safe for a week, but rarely more. Only Nathaniel had seen his father break bread with a misshapen blue creature summoned with a hand on a pentacle. Unlike his body, his intelligence was honed to a finely-hewn point, and so one day, after an exceptionally hard beating, he drew the runes of the pentacle from memory and summoned up a blue monster that was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. As time went on, Nathaniel would grow close with the blue creature with which he would share an intimacy previously unexperienced, and eventually make it part of himself, two beings with a single mind and a single purpose: to spite the bullies by doing good in the world, the most good possible.

Doomed Hero (Raxus) here.
Spectrum is a Wizard, pure and simple. He will do all those things that Wizards should, and do them really, really well.
He ties in with the setting and story by having spent the last 20 years in Sandpoint researching bits and pieces of the lost secrets of Rune magic. He's close friends with Ameiko Kaijitsu (Favored Son trait) and knows the area quite well. (all detailed in the background in his alias)
He has a pair of Psudodragons and tends to dress in white, making him stand out quite a bit. He's known for his analytical style of communication and his willingness to do things others deem dangerous. He seems to have little concept of self-preservation, except as a sort of vague thought exercise.
The character was originally played in another game on these boards, but it died. On the up side, his concept and personality are fully formed from previous play.
Pick me because Wizards are awesome and so am I.

Gotta do some tweaking to her stats...Okay.Female dwarven oracle of stone.She was sidetracked after surviving an ambush by orc brigands who slaughtered the guards of a carriage she hitched a ride in with some merchant's daughter,whose life she saved.The carriage driver fled on the last living horse,leaving the girl and herself to the remaining Orcs,whom she managed to slay.Afterwards she managed to escort the girl to safety and is headed to Sandpoint,as this was the direction the cowardly carriage driver fled to...The irate dwarf maid might want to axe him some questions!

Was part of an orcish raiding party as part of her shaman training. When she refused to senselessly slaughter unarmed travellers she was beaten to within an inch of her life while some of the travellers escaped. After she was left for dead said travellers attended to her and then brought her to Sandpoint where she was treated by Niska Mvashti. When she came to she adopted the last name Mva both to honor the woman that nursed her back to health and to permanently break with her past.
Using the Scarred Witch Doctor archetype. I know there is some discussion on whether or not Half Orcs qualify or not. I could easily turn her into a full Orc if you say they aren't elegible.

Denidiel Fallenwillow "Silent Killer of Many"
His family is shunned by many other of the elves living there because of an unfortunate blemish in his family history.
Denidiel's grandfather forced himself upon his grandmother.
The shame is that his grandfather belonged to the enemy faction of elves that live below the earth, the Drow.
Denidiel is one quarter Drow.
He has a dusky skin tone, darkvision, light sensitivity and is shorter than the average elf because of his Drow ancestry.
The stygma tainted his younger years as other Elves openly despised him, pitied him or shunned him.
Denidiel learned to be self-reliant and became a capable hunter living away from the others.
One day, a group of elves from a group known as the Shin'Rakorath came and arrested his father and were looking to arrest Denidiel as well.
Denidiel's remaining elven family gave him gold and told him to head south away from his home and not to trust other elves for fear that they would arrest him.
An encounter with a roving Shoanti tribe of the Hawk Clan left him being adopted by the tribe where he gained a few tattoos and the name Silent Killer of Many, but eventually he moved on.
Denidiel survived hunting various game and ended up in the village of Sandpoint.

He rode and traveled across Golarion and then honed his skills in the dragon empires then he traveled all the way back to Sandpoint. he did this over 5 years

Gene grew up around horses and guns. So it was only natural when he grew older that he would become a well respected horsemen with great skills when it came to guns. His pride and joy however, was the entertainment he could provide for the young children by means of fireworks. That being said when rumor of fireworks and goblin attacks reached his town not one person was surprised to see him riding off into the sunrise.

Y'know, I think I'm going to throw my hat into this one. Don't have much yet, but I'm thinking a local fellow native to Sandpoint. He'll be a LG human Fighter.
EDIT: Just saw that registration closes today, very soon. So I'll throw up a quick backstory and worry about crunch/a name if I get picked.
Born in Sandpoint, he's the son of a local merchant. From a young age he trained in combat, wanting nothing more than to join the town guard when he became eligible. However, his father had need of him before that, and he started working as a caravan guard. He quickly learned his love for adventure and traveling, abandoning his childhood dreams of being a town watchman. He still loves and resides in Sandpoint, but he's always looking forward to the next big trip.
While he is Varisian, he has an extreme distaste for the Sczarni; he feels that they make all Varisians look bad by proxy and that they are bloodsuckers preying on the weak or stupid. He denounces tales of the Sandpoint Devil, but secretly fears ever meeting the creature. When not working, he enjoys frequenting Ameiko Kaijitsu's establishment, and he considers her a close personal friend. He is always excited to hear her tales from her adventuring days, not long bygone.
