Nymph |

"Thanks," she quips upon taking the replacement and giving it a few test swings.
"Pretty sure Scourge and whatshisface have plenty you can pick from when we get back." Nymph says nonplussed mid-swing.

Ayre |

With all that noise I suspect they know we are here. Shall we move into the stockade?
Ayre does a search to see if there is anything worth holding onto.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 percep

DM Davy Jones |

At this point I could declare every other roll you make a success and it would probably go better than it is right now!
The stockade's door is ajar, and inside you see a chamber crowded with a good amount of furniture. A small writing desk, a comfortable bed, cooking gear and several barrels of rotting food. The stench of rot is overpowering and flies swarm within the room, particularly around the hooded corpse hanging from a a chain off a beam in the middle of the room. A stool lies on the floor nearby where it was kicked.

Nymph |

A 50% success rate would be a VAST improvement.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Looking about the room Nymph's eyes settle on the hanged occupant. "Poor bastard... yathink they're gonna get up like the other three we ran into earlier?" she asks just barely above a whisper to Yuki.

Yuki Okano |

"I can shoot an arrow into it to find out..." Yuki offers, doing so if no one raises any objections.
Arrow + P-BS: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Damage?: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Ayre |

Ayre uses Prestidigitate to remove the hood can lift up to 1 or 2 pounds Then he goes about removing the smell from the room with the same cantrip in order to focus

DM Davy Jones |

Never let the wizard go first guys.
The body remains still after the arrow is shot into it, but it disturbs a huge cloud of flies that swarm out of the body and towards all of you.
The hood is caught underneath the chain and cannot be removed with magic.
Initiative (Swarm): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Initiative (Ayre): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Initiative (Galean): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Initiative (Nymph): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Initiaitve (Yuki): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Initiative (Swarm): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
The swarm moves to feast on Ayre's warm, living blood.
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
Roll Fortitude, DC 13 or contract disease that does 1d3 Constitution and 1d3 Dexterity Damage after 24 hours. If you contract the disease, you can make an additional save once per day, two consecutive saves cures you of the disase.
Make a second DC 13 Fortitude save or you are nauseated for one round.
You are also bleeding for 1d6 each round, but can make a DC 15 Heal check to stop the bleeding
Go!

Nymph |

Shortsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 8
Confirm: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 8
So 16 if confirmed.
Jumping as the swarm of bugs appear Nymph hacks out of reflex as they go after Ayre.

Ayre |

2d20 ⇒ (11, 9) = 20 +3 fort +6 will
If I am correct on that then I pass both if not I am distracted

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Galean grunts unhappily as he sees the swarm approaching, and shouts in surprise as he sees it engulfing Ayre. "I'm coming, don't worry!" He stands tall, his hair spiking in the air, as he turns his finger in a commanding notion towards the swarm, as if commanding a crew of experienced salty dogs.
If the swarm takes more than a 5ft. Square.
Casting Aggressive Thundercloud on a square NOT occupied by our windbag of a wizard.: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1) = 6 Reflex 16 to halve.
A small, unassuming cloud appears over the swarm, and begins dripping rain on top of it, before going in complete berserk mode and starts spewing lightning and thunder everywhere on the swarm.

Yuki Okano |

"It's time to use that alchemist fire, guys." Yuki suggests as she pulls out a vial of the stuff and lobs it at the part of the swarm away from Ayre.
Ranged Touch + P-BS: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Miss Square: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Even if it misses, the swarm still takes 1 damage. I don't see a map posted, so I don't know if Ayre would take any damage if it misses. If it somehow hits the swarm, Ayre takes 1 damage.

DM Davy Jones |

In order:
It's a Fortitude Save, not Will to avoid distraction as a monster ability. Ayre is nauseated for one round.
14 does not confirm the critical against the swarm, but look how much better you're rolling!
Aggressive Thundercloud allows a Reflex Save to negate, not halve, damage.
You should see a "Stockade2" map in the link under my name (although the actual link Ayre, you are taking 1 damage from the alchemist's fire.
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
The lightning strikes around the swarm and fire swarms over the wooden furniture in the cramped room.
The swarm, having drained the wizard, moves to the comely ranger for fresh blood.
Damage (Swarm): 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Make your saves!

Ayre |

DM no damage from the fire to me I think, since I certainly move out of the swarm

Nymph |

Fortitude vs Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Fortitude vs Nausea: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
HP: 26/34
Shortsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 7
Using her non-cursed sword Nymph hacks at the swarm engulfing her.

Yuki Okano |

Yuki is 20 feet away from her previous position.
Retrieving her other alchemist fire, Yuki hurls it at the swarm, hoping for better success.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Missed Square: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Both Nymph and the swarm will take 1 damage from the miss. If Galean is in the same square, he'll also take 1 damage.
Also, I am starting to think that the nodachi is indeed cursed.

Nymph |

Also, I am starting to think that the nodachi is indeed cursed.
Gift it to Scourge or the other guy when we get back.
HP: 25/36

DM Davy Jones |

The swarm continues trying to suck the life out of Nymph.
Damage (Swarm): 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
You know the drill!

Nymph |

Shortsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 10
HP: 19/26
Nymph keeps up her assault with her shortsword against the swarm.

Ayre |

I assume nymph steps out of the swarm
Aure lights the swarm up
Burning hands 3d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 2) = 5 ref 14

Nymph |

Ah! Hadn't seen the updated map, thought everyone was still clustered next to the swarm. Yes, since she wouldn't be abandoning anyone to it she will step out of the swarm.

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Just realized I forgot to roll for the damage. Damn druids.
The storm cloud begins raining lightning down nervously on the swarm, after a strong look from Galean.
Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4) = 13 DC 16

DM Davy Jones |

Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
No it is not yet destroyed! Go Reflex saves. Sorry for the delayed posting, the end of the month is kind of crazy for me.

Yuki Okano |

I got nothing, unless the swarm is affected by weapon damage. Also, please don't forget that swarms take 50% more damage from area of effect spells.

DM Davy Jones |

They take 50% of damage from slashing and piercing, full from bludgeoning.

Nymph |

Shortsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 8
HP: 19/26
Nymph continues to swing the vermin before her.

Yuki Okano |

I need to get some blunt arrows...
Yuki fires an arrow through the swarm, hoping to disperse it.
Arrow + Pbs: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Nymph |

I believe he does.

Galean "Rafter" Santiago |

Classic Galean.
Galean once again concentrates on the incredibly ineffective and lazy storm cloud, directing it towards the swarm. "Stupid stormcloud!", he shouts in desperation.
Damage for the slothful stormcloud.: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4) = 12

DM Davy Jones |

Hey! You don't get to say "Classic Galean" about yourself! That's a mockery reserved for others. You can say "Classic Nymph" if she misses an attack or "Classic Ayre" if he's badly hurt because he decides the wizard should be the first person through the door.
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Lightning finally flashes out and strikes enough of the swarm that it disperses, scattering back into the swamps from which it came.
What do you do next?

Nymph |

Loot this hellhole and get the f*!+ out.

Yuki Okano |

Yuki retrieves the arrow she fired, while looking over her companion's injuries. "Anyone carrying around more alchemist fire? Didn't we find a bunch?"
Arrow Retrieval: 1 bad: 1d2 ⇒ 2

Nymph |

Nymph's down 7.
Nymph also hands her flask to Yuki.

Yuki Okano |

In exchange for the alchemist fire, Yuki casts Cure Light Wounds on the shark girl.
CLW on Nymph: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Nymph |

Best trade evah!
Grinning like a happy fool at Yuki's touch Nymph then begins to search the stockade for anything that can help them.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

DM Davy Jones |

Inside a cedar chest in the lodge, you find a suit of leather armor, six spears and eight finely tailored courtier's outfits.
You also find a silver ring tucked into one pocket of the outfit, and you find a cabinet holding five pounds of pepper in waxed bages. There's a silver tankard, a locked in silver depicting a blonde woman worth 45 gold and a journal with entries arranged by date showing increasingly deteriorating writing.
In the tree you spot the nest of the chokers, and you're certain there's something glinting up there.
Climb, DC 15 to make it up. You have to roll, no taking 10 or 20!
There's also something odd about that spyglass...

Nymph |

Piling up the items for the smarter and more magically inclined to rifle through Nymph shimmies up the tree.
