I response to Zel's question, let's tweak these characters a bit and use Background Skills from Pathfinder Unchained.
I am okay with that! The reason Zel didn't have Profession: Shop keep, is because her shop was actually a fortune telling shop. So she has Profession: Fortuneteller.
Edit: I already have two background skills....
If your shop is a fortuneteller shop then you can just roll that? I was under the impression it was something else and that the fortuneteller part was from rotrl, but I could be wrong ofc...

FYI, even where your + on a skill cannot make the check a 20 is ALWAYS a success so it never hurts to roll, unless you roll a 1 then it may hurt to roll. :-)
Also, I've been working on Maps so the next encounter I will try one of my maps for the first time :-)

Okay so, I am going to Tokyo in Tulsa, an anime, manga, gaming, and stuff, convention tomorrow. I'll be there all weekend! But the hotel does have wifi so I will check up when I can and when I'm not exhausted... This is most just a heads up if I don't pop up for a day or two...

Sorry for the delay folks! I am considering dropping a few games I play in to focus on DMing more fully. That will probably happen in the next few weeks, work just will not relent and its been 10 months now...

Tried to update last night but I had a hell of a time finding a map for this encounter. I will post the map tonight and update the thread so it is easier to follow in case combat ensues.
Most GMs I play with put a link to the map where other characters have stats or as a description for the campaign so it's on the top of the page.

That's what I've been doing with my other campaigns for some reason I just could not find a map for this encounter! I'll have one up tonight as I just took a pic of the damn thing. My email was slower than s~#* last night so I was not able to post it last night.
FYI, I will be packing and moving and then unpacking again over the next 35 - 40 days so if I have intermittent unexplained absences from the boards this is why.

Alright the long awaited update! Last night, this morning close enough!
Due to my ridiculous schedule which will only get worse for the next few weeks, I am putting the game on hiatus until Monday October 3rd. Then I will be settled and work should ease up so I can post on the regular again thereafter.

In 7 of the last 10 work days I have been at work 6 am or earlier so its been crazy, last week I got to work at 3 am on Friday. Still hit traffic in the Lincoln Tunnel, the commute to NYC just blows...

Is it the lack of a map that makes people not take advantage of positioning? With 3 against 1 it should be very easy to set up flanking. Also everyone keep ignoring my bless :(.
