I forget, did we say the transluscent skin is a curse? Disease? Level 5 means level 3 spells, and both of those are potentially cureable now.


Remove disease can cure it.

Hmm, I hadn't seen that spell before. I suppose you could try to use it. The Peregrine left one of the ship's boats with you when it first dropped you off, so you could use that.

@Teammates: I am debating between Effortless Aid and Quick Study. Do we think being able to more often give Victrix a bonus to hit is worth an Investigator Talent?

Quick Study makes it a swift action right? I think that'd probably be a better use since it would boost your combat abilities more easily, even when you have to move.

Got mine done as well, +1 to most all of the existing skills, spells per day/prepared/new spells, and I found an error with the exploits. I had both dimensional slide AND potent magic and can only have one. Since I had used Potenet Magic I drops Slide from the list and took for my newest exploit Item Crafter giving me both Craft Arms and Armor and Wondrous Item now. That means that at Level 7 I can get Construct.

New Rage Power: Renewed Vigor!

--As a standard action, the barbarian heals 1d8 points of damage + her Constitution modifier. For every 4 levels the barbarian has beyond 4th, the amount healed increases by 1d8 (to a maximum of 5d8 at 20th level). This ability can be used only once per day. The barbarian must be at least 4th level to select this rage power.

New Feat!
--Angelic Blood: You gain a +2 bonus on saving throws against effects with the evil descriptor and on Constitution checks to stabilize when you are reduced to negative hit points (but not dead). Furthermore, each time you take bleed or blood drain damage, each undead creature or creature with the evil subtype that is currently adjacent to you also takes 1 point of damage.

Here's Kip's update:

  • Standard bonus to HP/saves/BAB (boring)
  • 3rd level spells! My character sheet reflects a suggested "standard" loadout, but my Tracked Resources spoiler at the top of my profile is my daily prepared spells/other stuff. For the first day with 3rd level spells, we've got 1 use of Remove Disease for Eliza and Aquatic Trail to track down our missing fisherman.
  • Kip has started reading up on more languages, specifically Aquan so that he can try to communicate with the water elemental stuck in the tower someday. He's also learned to fly, though his inexperience leads him to sometimes fall back to sky swim which is like flying, but more comfortable.
  • Kip's been practicing his sweet sword thrusts and parries, and has gotten very slightly better and not stabbing himself. Mostly, Weapon Focus is a prerequisite to get DEX to damage eventually.


  • Added Eliza to the list of notable colonists under the campaign info tab. There's a link to a larger version of the image for her.

    Kip, you could always spend the money to make your rapier Agile instead of spending multiple feats to get Dex for damage.

    True, but I'm probably going to get Spell Storing or Conductive as well as higher bonuses instead, that way I can play around with the swashbuckling image while taking advantage of some of the shaman abilities I have.

    The only big problem there is that Conductive takes 2 uses instead of 1 for things like Wave Strike, since it has a very limited uses/day.

    No problem at all! Don't worry about stepping on my toes, I'm happy with how the story for this game is developing, and you guys are great at running with ideas much faster than I can post, so I have a bunch of cool stuff to read whenever I get back to a computer.

    Also, I meant what I said. I think we have an arcanist, investigator and shaman (obviously), but also a bard, some clerics, a psychic, an alchemist. The colony has a pretty good spread of magical talent she could potentially learn from.


    I won't be able to post until later tonight, but feel free to move to a new scene if you want.


    My wife and I are expecting the birth of our second daughter any time between now and her due date of July 13th. When that occurs, I will likely be incommunicado for a few days.     Before I roll for resources...

    My reckoning is that we have been gone for 7 days. (1.5 days out, 1.5 days back, 2 nights sleeping at the cave, 2 nights sleeping since we returned).

    We roll for gained resources once per day, correct?


    You gain income from your buildings for each day, yes. If you are making checks to raise capital, I believe you can only do so during downtime days that you are in town. So it would be a total of 4 downtime days in town.

    By the way, I rolled for downtime events occuring, with some interesting results. I'll post those events after everybody has finished posting their rolls. :)

    If allowed, since the Magic Repository only requires 3 Influence, I'll convert the rest of that Influence into Labor. The time spent evangelizing the library is still good for the community, so convincing people to help me expand it is good.

    Capital converts 3:1, right? So 9 Influence converts to 3 Labor (and a lot of wasted gold). Oh well...

    So how much actual cash money have we made at this point? I tend to be pretty bad about keeping track of that sometimes. I know I have to have more than the 29gp left over from starting equipment.

    I stopped tracking individual gold as I didn't know what you guys were spending. Best idea at this point is to look at the party fund and add 750 to it (from the wand of clw).
