I know Not-Carver implied that he has been a stalker the whole time, but how would he have passed the food test at the party, if that were the case?

Irrelevant at the moment, naturally.


He had a higher Fortitude save and Bluff check, so he was able to hide his discomfort better and keep down the food before throwing it up later.

I think I can try to free myself from the grapple and then 5'step out of the flank to the north, but I'm going to wait on everyone else's actions before I do something.

I don't have any way to help other than attacking.

I think this fight may be too tough for us. We're going to have to sacrifice the building, and at this point I'm not sure if we can spare the time to save Medrinnah.

Kalikk is probably already dead in the fire. A general channel may be her only chance at getting out of this death trap.

We definitely need to get out of being surrounded and I'm not sure we can keep this fight going for the couple of rounds it is going to take for Oorka to get us some support.


Well, the water elemental's touch can extinguish fires up to Large size. Now that the flames have joined together on the east wall, it can put them all out at once with a single standard action. So there's that, at least...

Wow, just caught up and it looks like we're having a bad day. I've got one more channel that could help after this round, though I'd be healing the enemies more too, and 3-18 is a really big range, and doesn't help as much when we're getting cut down for almost 40 damage in a round.

On the map, who's the brown haired person? I assume the upside down/white haired person is Kalikk?

He’s only doing that much damage because we didn’t kill the mooks first. That was a serious tactical blunder on our part.

Also, should I take the channel HP instead of the CMW heal?


Medrinnah is the brown-haired girl on the map. Kalikk is upside down.

The lesser stalkers have AC 14 and 32 hp. They would indeed have been much easier to take out first, denying Not!Carver his sneak attacks.

I'll have Kip use his cmw this round and move out the window, then I'll apply the channel healing next round. Round update coming soon.

Just as a note, diamond spray would have torn up the front part of the building pretty well as it ignores hardness iirc.

Sorry about that. Was away this weekend for my brother's bachelor party. Victrix, please remember that if you need healing while we're out of combat, Kip will happily heal you with the wand of cure light wounds. It's currently got 13 charges left (in my profile under "Tracked Resources", and if you post how many charges you're using I'll update the tracker as soon as I'm able to post.

Ring of protection would be nice but it should go to a front liner before me. I'll likely take the scrolls I can cast and scribe them into my book so we have them available whenever and in numbers.

I would keep the necklaces of adaptation for party use if we need them.

Also, those constructs we have been finding, what kind were they in general, clockwork or something else. Taking craft construct this level and I will need to start putting ranks into the necessary skills to work on them.


They are mostly clockworks.

I'd like the Boots of Elvenkind, but I feel like I've been taking more than my share of treasure.

I think I will return the Cloak of the Manta Ray to the list of loot. If nobody wants it, we can sell it.

It is mostly duplicative for me now, with the Enchanted Eelskin.

I may try to scribe formulas from some of the scrolls, but there isn't much else that I'm interested in.
