26 pages on Google docs although a fair amount of copy paste from the thread as I re-read it.
No worries hardly expecting major activity yet.
Also, I lost some pretty major work that didn't backup correctly on my maptools uploads when I moved pcs so I have a bit of recreating left to do.
Glad you're not expecting activity yet, because my last action (from 2016) is still unresolved. ;P
That, and the recap felt like a cutscene, but it didn't really include a "cut to player control" part.
Sorry, that was actually in reference to Mark! His gnome vanished on me some months ago too.
In fairness, Mark didn't "vanish" from the game; he withdrew. His job situation changed so he was no longer able to post from work, which forced him to pare his list of active games. I'm quite pleased, given the circumstances, that he's agreed to revive Qhude in this one.
Somehow, I never even saw that post of his. So yeah, that actually explains things. This whole time, I thought he just vanished!
And yes, I'm quite pleased that Qhude is coming back for Ansha Does Eleder the Sargavan Saga.
I have to say though that between my current working conditions (private practice) and family stuff (happily married with a somewhat newly acquired progeny of the female persuasion), there will be times that my posting will be... spotty.
Congratulations, Castor! I have a player who is a doctor with two daughters under the age of 3 in another game. I believe he's still in residency and is being run ragged.
Joana has it right - at the time I pulled out from the Ballad I was still adjusting. Things have improved now as I've been able to both log on at work without problems, and have a laptop at home that is mine all mine.
Still travelling at present and unfortunately haven't been blessed with as good an access at my parents as I'd like. I'll be back at ground zero in Canberra in about four more days - so it will improve then. Will chime in on thread to honor the revive... with an intent to return to usual detail and verbosity in due course.
With respect to potential future rejinks of builds I'll definitely consider it... but will want to retain what makes Qhude Qhude… all in good time ;)

As far as Akirra goes, I'm not sure if Alex or anyone has an ideas regarding the character, but I am game for whatever is decided.
Edit: And to confirm what has already been suspected, Akirra's gear totals just under 12,000 gp.

Trawling every single one of his aliases' posts on the off chance he listed an email address in one of them doesn't seem worthwhile, but it'd be one option.
Can't hurt to ask Alex. I can't see the harm in them sending him a message. You aren't asking for his email addy or anything.
He was checking in and bumping the thread every so often. Last two Januaries ('17 and 18') in fact! Maybe he will again! :)

Anyone else use maptools? The Jwrapper functionality is driving me barmy. Every time I launch it its looking for a new .exe file that doesn't exist and I have to rename the folder to fool it into launching...

Mine hasn't worked "right" (i.e., the way it used to) for ages. The old desktop shortcuts for the tools quit working, and I have to go into the file and click on the launcher or maptool .exe directly. I have no idea why it changed. Iirc, however, mine used to go looking for a jar file it couldn't find.
Are we all using the same (latest) version? v1.4.1.8?
I'm actually using the last 1.4.0.x build, because it says old saves might not be compatible with the newer builds. Have you had any issues opening old maps in the updated version?
I haven't had any issues with my maps either, nor anything to do with "JWrapper". Now perhaps it is because I made my own shortcuts in my Rocket Dock?

UPDATE: I've talked to Alex and he wanted me to let you guys know that he has been admitted to hospital with pneumonia. He is currently out of the ICU and recovering, but will likely remain in hospital for at least another week or two.
Teach me not to log into Paizo for three months.
It is good to see this coming to life again. Though given history and present concerns I think we may be bad luck for AK.
Now how do these rules work again.......
