Adrian rushes forward swinging his greatsword. Lekhet tries to step away but his legs are tangled amongst some vines. Adrian's sword comes down upon the yuan ti and he lets out a scream as the sword cleaves him in two in a burst of light. The amulet drops to the floor.
The broodling is distracted by the fall of its master. Saphina thrusts her sword through its heart. It turns to look at her and seems to say a "thank you".
Combat is over. Pretty hairy one but well done!
Lekhet carries a pouch containing 25 gp. In his pouch is a potion of animal friendship and a potion of poison He also wears a silver coiled snake bracelet worth 10 gp.
Sashah |
Sashah, unusually quick on his feet, rushes over to the amulet and scoops it up. He then looks at it with an excitedly as his eyes glow a familiar blue.

Nanbu Tchitlu |
Nanbu's legs buckle and he drops to a knee, then plops down onto his butt, Whew! Nanbu is so thankful that all of you are here.

I would be interested in the animal friendship potion. The more mischievous side of me says I would take the potion of poison but I think we weren’t suppos d to know it was a potion of poison lol.
GM Star Drake |
Let's finish this before the New Year!
Upon return to Kaya’s House of Repose, the party finds Wren, Alastar, Klevin, Po, and Screaming Wind waiting for them. Alastar calls for healers to cure the tabaxi and elf of their affliction.
Nerissa whispers into Wren's ears. "Oh.. the reward *hic*" Wren says.
Soggy Wren shakes off his drunknessness and grants the party the 100 gp reward and thanks the party for uncovering the hidden enemy that threatened the city. Though it does not appear the Dreamer’s Amulet is the direct cause of the Death Curse, it was certainly brought into Port Nyanzaru for a reason and intended to be used to influence someone of importance within the city. Wren promises to have the relic destroyed after examined for more information.
"So please hand it over," he says.
The faction contacts praise the characters for bringing the factions into full cooperation, as they are now aware of an active threat that threatens all within the city, but whose true nature can only be revealed by venturing beyond the city’s walls.
GM Star Drake |
Wren is confused. After Nerissa explains the situation, he shakes his head.
"No.. Diamssar wassh slain by the Yuan Ti. The person you met wasn't him at all. That'sshhh why he hesitated in returning the sign of the horns... *hic* we mustsh arrange a funeral for Diamssar... and prepare the best wine..." he says.
Nanbu Tchitlu |
Nanbu looks at Nerissa, Lady was watching, yet didn't help. Says much about her character.
Nanbu shakes his head sadly and turns to walk away, Nanbu will still help to save Chult, but he does it for its people, not you.
He nods to his new friends as he walks away, disappearing in the crowded streets.
It is easy to imagine him buying snacks and goodies for the children that run through the marketplace with his share of the coined just gained...
Saphina Greenfoot |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Saphina tries to stop Nanbu and explain that she thinks there is a misunderstanding somewhere. Nanbu, wait... but the warlock is faster than she thought and disappears into the croud. Perhaps we will meet again my Chultan friend.
Back to the others You said you represent all of the factions? Doing the math in her head she looks at Nerissa and Wren So you two represent the Harpers? She skeptically looks at Sashah as if asking a question.
Saphina Greenfoot |
Saphina leans over to Fenri and whispers “just because you say “no offense” first, doesn’t make what you say following that any less offensive. “ Saphina then looks back to the others to see the response.
Sashah |
The old half-elf raises an eyebrow at Wren. A moment later his face turns serious, "I vould like to assist in study of amulet."
