"Follow me. We need a safe place to speak. Too many eyes here," he says.
He leads the group to an old stone building with faded murals and a worn sign that reads “The Northside Market Textile House".
He steps in, and you see two men with swords. The room is covered with cloths and silks. Diamssar flashes the hand signal to the men. They hesitate. He then repeats it, and they flash the hand signal back.

Nanbu looks at the men carefully... the hesitation not sitting well with him.

The group follows Diamssar into the building. It's a large warehouse. After following in about 10', you hear a click, then the ground opens up beneath you. Fenri and Nanbu notice one of the guard's feet pressing down upon a lever.

Fenri and Nanbu manage to catch themselves. Sashah, Saphina and Adrian are dropped into a 5' deep pit and suffer 3 damage.
Diamssar snatches a sack next to him and tosses it into the pit. It opens up to reveal a large snake that looks very hungry.
Fenri and Nanbu are not surprised. The guards charge towards them. They slash at the two with their scimitars. Unfortunately, both blows miss.

It's a surprise round, so only Fenri and Nanbu can act, then it's back to the enemies. There's one guard on Nanbu, one on Fenri. Diamssar is 10' away from the edge of the pit and not engaged with either Nanbu and Fenri.

"Bad choice Mr. spy villain mastermind! I'm gonna punch you in your stupid face." says Fenri as she moves to engage Diamssar in combat.
I'll end up provoking I'm sure, and I'll rage and make an attack if I can get to Diamssar in a move action, otherwise I'll just double move.

Nanbu rimes over with frost and draws his club, infusing it with eldritch energy!

The thug facing Nanbu tries to strike the warlock.

The blow strikes but the bandit is covered in frost. He is covered in cold and whimpers.
The one Fenri ran away from chases him and tries to strike.

The blow strikes Fenri, though does not inflict much damage.
Diamssar stares at Fenri and says "I think dwarf should slink around the floor because you are snake.".
Fenri make a Wis save DC 12; if you fail you take the suggested course of action.
The snake slides out of the sack and attacks Saphina. The snake sinks its fans into the halfling.

Saphina must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 10 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Everyone may act. Adrian, Saphina and Sashah are in the pit. They can see the two bandits and Nanbu, but not Fenri or Diamssar.

Saphina leans back from the snake after hitting the ground. Addressing her bite wound she exclaims ouch! You little s~!@! Standing up, drawing her rapier, the half sized warrior then stabs at the snake.

Fenri falls to the ground and squirms around like a snake.
The last bandit strikes at Nanbu but the blow misses.

Diamssar grabs a bow from behind some baskets and fires upon Nanbu.
"Fools! Turn over the amulet and you may live!" he says. He continues to step further back and up some stairs.

The arrow pierces the warlock's armour.
The snake strikes out at Adrian. Its fangs pierce his armour and the knight feels his veins filled with poison.

Diamssar lets out a howl of rage. Fenri continues to squirm on the ground.
Adrian, do you want to take any action? You can do an Athletics or Acrobatics check to climb out of the pit, but that'll take up all your movement and action

Adrian tries to climb up but can't pull himself out. Maybe it's the armour...
The bandit tries to strike Adrian as he emerges, but he misses.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Diamssar fires another arrow upon Nanbu. "I have more snakes for you!" he yells. The arrow strikes though Nanbu's armor seems to take most of the blow.

Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Nanbu will be able to reach Diamssar this round. It'll take an action and movement for those in the pit to climb out, or you can attack the bandit with disadvantage with melee weapons.

The arrow thuds in Nanbu's chest, caught mostly by his armor of woody vines, but enough to cause the icy glow to fade from his eyes. He looks up at Diamssar and smiles, You think you are safe from Nanbu?
Nanbu moves near the foot of the stairs, hurls his thorn whip and pulls hard!

Saphina puts her rapier away and apologizes to Sir Adrian as she jumps onto his back and scrambles up to his shoulders. Once there she leaps to the top of the pit. Looking at the remaining bandit. Things aren’t looking too hot for you right now.
