He ran out to the street.

The door at the top of the walkway leads into an upper storage room. It is extremely dirty and smells of blood and rotting flesh. Three cages are in this chamber, two of them occupied by a tabaxi and an elf. Both appear to be suffering from some type of sickness, bearing dark thick veins and scaled patches all over their bodies.

You may make an investigation check. If you wish to unlock the cages you can make a Dex check.

Fenri easily breaks the chain. The prisoners stumble out.

The elf male is unconscious, but the tabaxi female, can speak, but only barely. "I-I am Shaded M-moon. Poisoned by snake creatures... placed in cell. Pain.. so painful... serpents.. hissing.. poison..." she mutters.

She points towards the door you saw earlier. "Creature... there.. poison.. may h-have... cure..." she says, wheezing.

You can't discern or tell what disease might have caused their condition.

Saphina after hearing about the snake men shakes her head and wishes there were more she could do for the poor souls immediately to ease their suffering. After a quick discussion with Sashah learning that his Magic’s werent strong enough to cure them of the poison Saphina turns to head for the door. Seeing Nanbu heading for the door ahead of her she calls out to the nature lock to wait but it is too late and pulls on the door to throw it open. I hope it’s not trapped She whispers to herself, ...or maybe locked.

if the door is locked, it may give Saph a chance to get to the door and inspect it for traps as well. If not Saphina will move to the side of the door staying out of sight. Hoping to be able to get the drop on one of the snake people at least.

Fenri gently helps them from their cages and offers them food and water while Adrian calls upon his divine magic.

Unfortunately, Adrian's healing has no effect on the prisoners. It appears to be more similar to a curse than a mere disease.

Nanbu opens the door and sees a room lush with overgrown flora. The land dips slightly into somewhat of a bowl shape. In the center is a circular dais with a gigantic serpent carved into its base. Near the entrance are patches of flowers.

You hear a voice say "Thank you for returning our gift!" The Dreamer's Amulet rises from Sashah's satchel and flies over to a humanoid figure.

"I am Lekhet, and I have been awaiting your arrival! Now kill them!" it says to a group of humanoids that seem to have the same scaly skin as the prisoners you encountered. They charge towards the party. You also hear the sound of slithering snakes.

Lay on Hands can neutralize poison, or remove a condition. Is the result of the curse a certain condition?

It's not just a disease but something more insidious... those infected have voices in their head and the physical changes are magical. A remove curse or lesser restoration could cure them.

His claw attack was the one that hit. The base claw damage is only 2, and the next 2d4s were 3 and 2; I rolled them after Fenri's rolls in order not to screw up the dice roller. So 2+5+1 = 8.
