Sorry for the delay. I've been trying to research if there are rules in place for such a thing, but I can't find anything to I'll wing it. Since the top of the creature is about level with the top of the bank, it basically boils down to making a high enough roll on acrobatics to jump 20 feet and land on the aurochs. This would be a DC 20 acrobatics check. It will take double move so you won't be attack afterwards. If you miss, you can roll another acrobatics check to see if you can negate 10' for fall distance with a result of 15 or higher.

Note: while it is a large creature, it's reach is only 5 feet, so it won't be allowed an attack of opportunity.

Given the bonuses for my current base land speed I cannot fail a DC20 Acrobatics. Faster Base Movement: Creatures with a base land speed above 30 feet receive a +4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks made to jump for every 10 feet of their speed above 30 feet. Creatures with a base land speed below 30 feet receive a –4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks made to jump for every 10 feet of their speed below 30 feet. No jump can allow you to exceed your maximum movement for the round. My current base land speed is 110ft giving me a +28 on the check.

Karas races toward the river bank and easily leaps to the back of the large bull-like creature.

If Karas' land speed is 110, his movement is just a move action, so he can make an attack if he wants. I'd allow him to make a charge attack if he wants. Sorry this has taken so long to work out. If I had the time to dig in on the details of how the haste affects Karas and how that affects the jump result, it would have gone quicker. Feel free to provide suggestions for how to GM a situation. My time for posting during the week is limited and I tend to skip working on a post if I know I don't have enough time to do it right.

The beast on which Karas landed had very thick skin but Karas' claws penetrated down to vital tissue and drew gouts of blood, as the beast bellowed in pain, a sound which echoed faintly off the citadel and hills around the area. 17 damage.

The tiefling on the east side of the bridge ducked down behind the wall.

A tiefling with armor and weapon similar to those who were lined up along the bridge emerged from the west tower and moved partway across the bridge along the elevated walled walkeway to where he could send an arrow down at Karas. The arrow sailed over him harmlessly.

The tieflings on the walls of the bridge have cover. The one canted at a 45 degree angle is crouching and has complete concealment.

Ellena trusts her friends to take out the remaining tieflings as she charges ahead to deal with auroch 2.

Will someone move me on the map to get as close to auroch 2 as I can in this round with Mythic Haste? Thanks.

Karas is already on Auroch 2. Did you mean to attack the same one or one he is not attacking? Also, specify if you want to try to jump to the back of the auroch as Karas did or jump to the bottom of the river-bed. If you do the former, make two rolls, one for distance (might be impossible to fail taking into account +4 bonus for each ten feet increase in speed). But the second is DC 15 to keep your balance on the beasts back. If you jump to the river bed, the acrobatics check is instead to avoid taking 1d6 falling damage. I'll move your icon when I know which beast you want to attack and how you want to land.

I didn't make Karas make the second acrobatics check because he was attacking it with his claws, so that gave him a solid way to keep on the creature's back. For similar reasons, I don't think Ellena would be able to make a charge attack just due to the jump at the end would throw the attack off. Karas was basically braking by grabbing the creature, which is simpler to do and apply momentum to the attack.

Anarya strode forward, Tauni's magic granting her tremendous speed. When she reached the edge of the tieflings' magical darkness, she stopped and looked upwards. The shadows blurred her view, but she didn't need to be precise for this. With outstretched arms, she unleashed a silent scream. No sound came forth from her lips, but in front of her, atop the ramparts, a celestial cacophony burst into existence, stunning the two tieflings before her.

I'm going to treat the aurochs as trying to buck Karas off, just a CMB vs his CMD. I don't think there is a specific maneuver or rules for this.

Ellena jumps to the bottom of the riverbed when she gets to the edge. She lands on a rock and twists her ankle. The ankle is not disabled, but it hurts with each step. 3 points nonlethal.

Anarya's cacophony hits the tieflings while they were focused on hitting Karas with arrows and they did not get their hands to their ears in time and the sound hit them full on, rattled their bones, bloodied their ears, eyes and nose, and were too stunned to act for a bit. Tieflings #1 and #3 take 7 damage each and are both stunned.

The aurochs with Karas on its back rears up, leaps into the air and twists back and forth before slamming into the ground, trying to buck Karas off. Karas loses his grip and falls hard to the ground, landing prone and cracking a rib. 6 points damage. Karas is prone.

Another tiefling solder emerges from the safety of the east tower and fires an arrow at Anarya, but it lands harmlessly a few feet away.

When Anarya ran out from one side, Tauni moved around to the other. Seeing Karas in peril, and worried that Anarya might jump to his side, Tauni let raw power flow through her, pushing it out at the aurochs and forming it into fire.

Using wild arcana to cast fireball. Centering it between aurochs 2 and 3. Swift action to spend mythic use on wild arcana. Move action to get to spot on the map. Standard to cast. DC 18 reflex for half damage. Damage is 8d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 3, 3, 6, 6, 1) = 28.

In preparation to advance into the area darkened by the tieflings, Avelina drew her longsword and held it high, the Continual Flame spell upon it shining as bright as ever. ”FOR VICTORY. Tauni's fireball lit up the area under the west side of the bridge, scorching the two aurochs chained to the bridge supports. Although the big beasts are not particularly nimble and their motion was limited by the chains, they both turned away as the magic first began to blossom and protected their most sensitive areas. Both saved, 14 lethal

But the one Karas had ripped into was now tottering on the verge of collapse. A2 is disabled.

The beast to the northeast side of the bridge moved to see what was happening to his fellows, while the one injured by the blast to the northwest moved to take partial shelter under the bridge on the north side of the support it was attached to.

Raine sent a hail of arrows at the tiefling by the southwest tower, but each arrow failed to find a vulnerable spot, either glancing off his armor or the wall behind which he stood. The people on the bridge all have cover from the wall, which covers just over half of their bodies. When they crouch they cannot be targeted with ranged attacks. Figures turned at a 45 degree angle are crouching.

But moments later, Avelina, her sword aflame, strode confidently up to stand by the archer and sent a volley of glowing balls of magic which headed straight for the walls but at the last moment, rose and hit the tiefling full in the neck and head. The already stunned soldier reeled but was not yet too wounded to stand. 12 damage to T3.

A tiefling soldier stepped from the southeast tower and fired an arrow that struck Anarya in the side. 8 damage.

The aurochs that Ellena had approached bellowed and tried to trample her.

Ellena has 2 options: She can attempt an AOO at -4, after which she'll take the damage from the trample attack and be knocked prone. Or she can attempt a reflex save to leap aside and take half damage and remain standing, moving to an adjacent square. If the reflex save fails, she takes full damage and is knocked prone.

While the aurochs was trying to trample Ellena, the stunned and injured tiefling nearest the southwest tower recovered from the magical assaults on him and sent an arrow flying at Anarya, but it missed.

While we are resolving Ellena's fate with A1, Karas may act. He is currently prone.

Ellena leaps for safety and the mighty beast knocks her down and one of hits huge hooves comes down oh her but she avoided getting stepped on by multiple hooves. 7 damage and Ellena is prone.

The aurochs bit Karas as he stood, but the effort caused more internal injury and the giant bull collapsed. AOO, does 7 damage.

Karas took the opportunity to attack the beast on the other side of the nearly dry river bed, delivering a series of attacks that were a blur of silver punctuated with gouts of blood. The second aurochs fell to the brutal attack. The first two attacks do enough to put the aurochs negative. The next kills it outright.

A number of things happen on the enemy side of the round, but I'll have to do that next time I have enough free time to do it right, probably Friday morning.

The tiefling who had crouched down behind the wall rose up and pointed at Anarya, a cruel grin curling his lips. A moment later, a dretch appeared on either side of the oracle and attacked her savagely. The one to her west attacked with his claws, but Anarya was able to slap one aside with her shield and the other hit her armor. But then it leaped at her and bit at a weak spot in her armor, drawing blood from her leg. The other took advantage of her need to defend against both of them and raked its claws across her side and bit her arm. 11 damage.

The tielfing called out something as they attacked and when they'd drawn blood, they stepped toward the bridge. A moment later a fireball exploded reaching out from a spot just north of the ruined building. Its heat reached Anarya and Avelina but faded just short of Tauni and Raine.

Anarya spotted the first spark that preceded the blast and managed huddled behind her shield to keep the worst of it from her head and torso. Her spell resistance was not enough to protect herself from this spellcaster, however. Avelina was caught off guard. Anarya takes 14, Avelina takes 28.

The blast damaged the ruined buildings, sending its wall collapsing toward Raine and Avelina. Both dodged out of the way of the big chunks, but they still got hit with some debris. Avelina and Raine take 5 each.

The caster then ran along the wall toward the north side, calling something in Abyssal, after which the two Aurochs on the east side began to move to pull on the bridge supports.

Anarya's eyes burn white-hot as she steps back from the two demons, halo igniting, not with light, but with holy fire. A coruscating ring of iridescent flame bursts into existence around her head, her angelic features cast harshly in its stark light. The demons have only a moment to consider their peril before it explodes over them like a tidal wave of heat and wrath. The nearest tiefling is caught in the blast as well, though being mortal, it more easily weathers the holy fire.

Anarya feels the pain from her allies' wounds, but the pain is washed away rapidly as her halo's light cures her of injury.

Avelina, Raine and Karas heal 5 each. Anarya takes 15 damage.

Oh yeah, I forgot Purifying Channel. When Anarya heals, the tiefling (if still standing) takes 19 fire damage, DC 22 Will save for half, and he's dazzled for 1 round if he fails the save. (The other damage is still typeless, but this one is fire.) If the tiefling is down, one of the demons takes the damage if they survived.

Trying to parse the results. Why is there no saving throw vs. the second alignment channel via the quick channel sacred scourge? And why is it half of 3d6? I don't see anything about saves or the damage working differently for either the quick channel or the sacred scourge. Just trying to keep on top of all of your abilities.

Also, I forgot about Shield Other on Karas. If that spell is active, then when he fell off the aurochs, he took 3 and Anarya took 3. When the Aurochs got an AOO hit, Karas took 3 and Anarya took 4.

Anarya's fire and light show dazzled the eyes of anyone watching. When the light faded, one of the demons was no longer present and the other was badly wounded. The last remaining Tiefling on the bridge was a smoldering corpse next to his fellows. Karas and Avelina felt some of their wounds heal, which they knew was causing an equal amount of hurt to Anarya, but Avelina at least could tell that the oracle gave worse than she got, and even then she was less damaged after all the smoked had cleared.

Start of Round 3
An unwounded Tiefling on the wall's east rampart saw his leader making for the far side of the bridge and he ran through the door the leader had opened and made it through to open the next door in the central battlement.

Tauni is up. Then the aurochs on the northeast side begins to pull on its chains.

Tauni moved across near Anarya. She drew a wand as she went, and used it to cast a spell at one of the approaching tieflings.

Saves for half damage. Takes nothing from the cold, due to cold resistance and only takes 3 lethal from the piercing. Also no trip.

Tauni's wand attack created a dramatic moment on the wall as the giant ice spear lurched into existence at the feet of the tielfing, but he suffered only a glancing blow and kept his feet. The tiefling resistance to cold protected him further. Nevertheless, the wounds he had already suffered meant he was nearly dead.

The trip attempt should have a +6 bonus. It is the caster level + a bonus based on the abilities of the caster. Using the minimum to create the wand and cast the spell, it would be a 5th level caster with Int 13, so +5 +1. The result would still not beat the tiefling's CMD.

Ellena's sword became a blur of light as her magical speed allowed her to attack again and again before the beast could respond. It took a second wound as bad as the first, but still stood, starting to respond to the instruction to pull on the chains binding it to the bridge support.

Meanwhile the aurochs chained to the northeast support drew the chain taut and strained mightily trying to pull the bridge support down. It was distracted, however by the attacks and its mighty hooves dug grooves in the soft loam of the riverbed. The bridge gave a slight lurch, but still stood.

Here's the explanation for her Sacred Scourge: LINK. Basically, the regular channel works normally, but the Sacred Scourge channel uses the Rulership variant channeling rules: The damage is always halved, and the saving throw is against the 1 round daze.

The reason it's working against the Tiefling is that Anarya is using Mythic Alignment Channel, which allows her to affect any evil creature, not just evil outsiders - but anything without the evil subtype takes half damage. And since the damage is already halved, it's quartered.

Avelina seethed as she shook off the rubble, blood from stones and ash from the fire falling from her face. She was badly hurt, but much worse, embarassed. The presumptuousness of this upstart blowing up the tower next to her. With a spell much like her own! She would have no other challenge her mastery of spectacle. She moved in closer and threw out her sword towards the villain responsible.

"You vile...VILLAIN. You dare to assault the Inheritor's Chosen with your profane imitations of HER DIVINE FIRE?!"

She conjured another chestnut-sized ball of fire in her off-hand. She was too angry to focus on imbuing it with more mythic power, so it's light did not burn quite as bright. She lobbed it straight up in front of her...

"DIVINE CONFLAGRATION!"

...then smacked it with the flat of her longsword down towards the center of the bridge. Imagine a tennis serve

Also, Karas broke the max range on shield other almost instantly. I'm gonna need to get a metamagic rod or a metamagic feat to extend that range, I think. A reach metamagic rod would be 3k and would extend it from 40 ft. (at this level) to 160 ft. - more than enough. And it would increase as I gained levels.

Raine and Avelina emerged from the rubble and moved closer to the action. Raine prepared her bow to do even more damage while Avelina sent another fireball exploding across the middle of the bridge and injuring three of the teiflings along the walls. 8 to T1, 21 to T2 and leader.

As this was going on, the other aurochs answered the order to attempt to pull down the southeast column. It had to brush past Ellena, who swung at it with her sword but the swing was ill timed and glanced off the mighty side of the huge creature. It pulled the chain taut and strained mightily, but it too had trouble getting leverage to pull on the stone pillar.

I don't have time to do all the details, but I'm fairly sure Karas will take out the last two aurochs. They have AC 15 and 31 hp so every attack hits and there is more than enough damage to take both negative. I'll narrate something later, but didn't want you in suspense too long.

The enemies on the bridge get their next actions, but that will wait until after work.

Karas was a streak of silver rage that ripped arteries from the neck of the aurochs pulling on the NE bridge support, killing him. Karas dashed further and delivered a killing blow to the already wounded aurochs remaining at the southeast bridge support. The threat to the bridge was dealt with, but the leader of the tieflings in charge of defending the bridge and a few of his soldiers remained, dashing now for the relative safety of the north side of the span.

The remaining summoned dretch also focused his wrath on the woman with the halo. His claws swiped through air and his bite only managed to chew on her armor a moment.

The leader, a hunchbacked tiefling already at the middle of the bridge, uses a wand and instantly appears at the far bank of the bridge. His soldiers have to hoof it over the old fashioned way, which they do as fast as they can.

Ellena climbed much quicker than she expected. Once topside, she saw the stretch closeby, moved and cut a swath through the air with Radiance.

Raine raced onto the bridge, plunging past her friends, through the darkness, out the other side... Tauni's speed served her well.

Skidding to a stop against one of the bridge's support walls, she sighted at the figure at the far end of the bridge, and loosed an arrow.

Oh right. Because mythic haste is ridiculous.

In that case, she'd have rapidshot/manyshot for that first attack, so it would have been -2 to the first attack roll, and I'd have used deadly aim as well. Happy to just reroll the entire attack block if that makes things simpler.

Raine's first arrow had so much power in the draw of the bow, it affected her aim. It if had hit, it would have been a deep wound. But each successive arrow found its mark and the tiefling sorcerer staggered back with each wound, trying desperately to activate a wand to escape with a dimension door spell, but before he could do that, the last arrow struck and he toppled over.

Just a few tiefling on the walls now.

"Your leader is assuredly dead, your beasts are slain, your comrades lay around you." With each phrase, she pointed with her sword towards who she spoke of. "Do you knaves plan to carry on this farce and die pointless deaths or do you have enough sense to surrender yourselves?"
