So far the ones that are openly hostile are the ones you already know - Scourge and Plugg. :) You could probably guess that the four people who came to try and beat you up this morning aren't friendly, though of course they may also have been following orders.
Sandara is definitely friendly, and Rosy seems to have warmed a bit over dislike of the gnome. Grok is at least not hostile, and Fishguts is friendly with everyone in a superficial kind of way.
I'm hoping this is coming across in scenes - I think how someone feels about you is a lot more swishy than a straight 'helpfulness level' rule ... I understand why its there and I haven't gotten rid of it (I have a neat little sheet with all this), but I'd like to mask it with at least a little fourth wall. ;)
If you want to cold read someone you haven't talked to, well, that would be sense motive check, which can be part of your filler actions.
Make sense?

As addictions are diseases, they can be cured as such, through the use of spells like remove disease or by succeeding at Fortitude saves over time. Unlike with other diseases, an addicted character can only make a Fortitude save to overcome his addiction after a day of not taking the drug he is addicted to. The DC of this Fortitude save is equal to the highest addiction DC his drug use has reached (not necessarily the DC that addicted him if he has continued to make use of the drug while addicted). This DC decreases by –2 for everyday the character does not make use of the drug, to a minimum of the drug's base addiction DC. Depending on the severity of the character's addiction, it might take two or three consecutive successful Fortitude saves to overcome the disease. Should a character take a dose of the drug he's addicted to, he immediately relapses, causing the addiction DC to instantly return to its highest DC and negating any successful past saves.

Just letting you all know, tomorrow, I'll be getting on a plane to the US. So there will be a huge gap of time where I will most likely not be online. I might check in from Beijing, but I can't guarantee it. Also, I'll be in the states for about a week, and I'm sure I'll have internet at various points, but I'll also be moving stuff and visiting friends, so I might not be available quite as much as I have been. Aside from my day in the Beijing Airport I should manage once a day just the same though!

We'll miss you Lexi. If you wind up in the Philly area, I'll happily buy you a drink sometime.
I would too but there might be bridge involed. (I'm just across the river Dart)

Rockin' the C-L-E right here. whoo midwest!
Sarenth & Lexi, my wife and I went to SF for our honeymoon and loved the city. My favorite part: the maritime national park. I fell in love with the Eppleton Hall and really enjoyed touring the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brian. If I lived out yonder I would spend ALL OF THE TIMES! restoring those lovely ships.
My plan for midlife crisis is to build a replica of the Eppleton and make it a sea-going houseboat. Already got a name picked out. PS (paddle steamer) Coals to Newcastle.

I went there once on a field trip while I was stationed in Monterey, but we just went to a part of the town for the culture of my language class. I LOVE Monterey though, the place is beautiful. I'm originally from NW Oregon, but live out on the East coast now.

Okay, so I have a definite preference when it comes to spoilering conversations. I'm not a fan.
I think it discourages open involvement, and perpetuates the idea that you should only bother reading DM posts and ones with your name spoilered. When you are at a Tabletop game do you consistently step aside for every conversation you have where other PC's aren't present? In all honesty, I have opened and read every spoiler, in every game, and let them know I read them. It's the same separation of player vs. character knowledge I use to play AP's that I also run.
Also, could we get clarification on whether befriending the crew is an individual increase or as a group. Meaning, do each of us need to influence Grok, or would one of us friending her count for the whole group? Are we considered a group yet?

I'm with you about spoilering actually, I just don't want to clutter up stuff too much for someone looking for something specifically for them. I read everything anyway because I'm curious in my games. I should clarify that the spoilers are merely for organization ... I expect and encourage ya to read each other's stuff. But you don't have to post with them, either. The entire point of this excersize writing and playing with other people!
I am opening up the spoilers cause I realized it got a little crazy there a bit, and I want things to be more open.
You are considered a group, mostly because of Plugg and Scourge. And you guys have been more or less friendly with eachother - so you friend people as a group. :)

I've only recently (read: last few months) gotten used to PBP games, and the spoiler thing took awhile to really grasp. I find there are quite a few uses for it, space saving being a big one, but it's also appropriate for simulating things happening that one or more people normally wouldn't know. Doesn't HAVE to be used to keep secrets, unless that's what we all agree to, but it does allow some of us who HATE the kind of spoilers that ruin a story (I have a few friends who do that on a regular basis) to keep the suspension of disbelief going until the right moment.
I basically skip spoilers that are tagged for someone specific, and have gotten a good feel for those that are just space savers and those that my character should skip.

Okay, then as a rule for this game and all games I run, I am now stating - if its something that I only need one person to see, I'll PM it. :) I spoiler things so that if you're reading along happily and need to go find the thing I meant for you to respond to, it'll have your name on it. But I def. think you should all be reading eachother's stuff - I picked ya cause I like you and your characters; share the love! :) I trust you to keep things seperate. If you DON'T want to read what other people are doing, you don't have to, though.
However, whatever you guys prefer is fine with me. Its just my attempt to be organized, nothing more! Include everyone! :D

I can shift over to only spoilering critical stuff or for length. I got into the habit when I was running a couple of PBPs. I would give each player the results of their individual checks, and they could choose to act accordingly and share information as they decide. And I'll start reading the spoilers for other people. Hadn't been doing that.
