The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Plugg takes one across the cheek, turns back to sneer, then meets the personification of all Noro's frustrations. Teeth fly, and yet he seems to stand, but only for a moment. He teeters, then falls over like a stubborn tree.

Upon seeing the savaging that Reck could deal out and with no word from Scourge, everyone allied with the former command surrenders without reservation. A cheer goes up from your allies and you are immediately assaulted by the healing ministrations of Sandra.

The crew, Rahaoundi and Pirate alike, seems to recognize Reck as the Challenger and therefore the Inheritor of Plugg's authority. They speak of him in hushed tones and tend to avoid his gaze until called upon. More than a few point to his blood-soaked hands and face, fear mixed with awe in their eyes.

That is not to say Noro is ignored. The Iron Maiden is esteemed almost as highly as Reck and her word is obeyed as a first mate's would be. She and Reck are immediately recognized as a team of highly deadly combatants.

Durvin comes out of the fray as the Man of the Crew. Everyone feels easy around him and thanks him profusely for his aid in the battle. Of all of you, he is the man who walks away with the most promises of ale at the first port of call.

In the end, whether you choose to keep the arrangement the crew has assumed is up to you. The three of you have overcome and persevered in the tradition of many great adventurers and pirates. Even some Pirate Lords do not have stories that start as well. Your future is yours. Your horizon is open. The Man's Promise is ready for the course you set. What you do next is entirely up to you.

And I want to thank all of you for being the first to give me the chance to GM. Thankyou for being understanding when I made a mess of things, forgot effects, and generally goofed up. Thanks for taking a chance on me. This adventure will forever hold a special place in my memory, and I hope you have enjoyed it. I certainly did.
