Okay so here we go
In the little village of Bristol every year they have a scavenger hunt. This year is the first year that you all were invited into the hunt. It is for the coming of age kids in the village. The six of you where all put on a team. You all know each other and you may or may not all like each other but you know for the better of the team at this point you must work together.
The Mayor states "This year we have the biggest purse that we have ever had before in history of the village. We have donations from the following people. Wally, Riddleport Jones, Dumbarr (Locksmith), any many others. We've got a lot of things to find this year. So as the teams have already been choosen I am now going to read off the list of items that have been hidden some where with in the village and outskirts up to a 1/4 mile away. Bearing no fights, injuries, mishaps or any other thing. The first team back here with ALL of the items will win this years prize. PLEASE take only 1 of each item as there are 5 one for each team. Any Tampering will be noticed. Wally has done as he has done in the past and put some protections on them. SO with out furhter ADO! here are the items
- A leaf from the golden tree
- The scales of a multicolored aquatic animal
- The key that opens the door to fires best friend
- The heart of a wild beast that eats truffles
- a soothing tea that is used for headaches
- the stones of the archangel
- a liquid that refreshes the drinker and quences their thrist
- an Item that is used to defend yourself from most foes
- a food that is the favorite of my wife
- the thing that answers this riddle Two brothers we are, great burdens we bear, all day we are bitterly pressed; Yet this I will say - we are full all the day, and empty when we go to rest.
What are we?
The answers do need to be found and they are not needed to roll a check for anything each of you should know some of the answers, if your stuck we can roll a knowledge local check at +5 because everyone knows everything in the town.

Jaymin Thrushberry runs his hands through his short-cropped hair in excitement. He concentrates as the list of items is read out, remembering the items as best he can.
Is Rodric competing this year as well?
"All right, folks. We can do this! Let's win it!"

Jaymin Thrushberry |

"The liquid that refreshes is probably water, maybe from the well. We could probably find the soothing tea at the apothecary, the defending item is probably a shield. As for the riddle, I'll have to think on that for a bit."
He scuffs the ground and runs his fingers through his hair, thinking. Staring at his feet, he mutters, "A pair of boots, maybe?"

Ellismus Rayne |

Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 5 = 25
Ellismus looks over brans shoulder at the list.
Pointing at the fourth item, he says, "I think I saw a pig dig for truffles once. What's a wild pig? A boar? So the heart of a wild boar? How is this supposed to be something that isn't dangerous?
Looking through the rest of the list he seems to have an epiphany: "Hmm, I saw the mayor's wife with the butcher in the old Maddin ruins once. I guess it was hot in there for them since they were taking off their cloaks. I think I saw a picnic basket with them that had some meats, although I'm not sure they ever ate it, does that count as a favorite food?"

Jaymin Thrushberry |

"The mayor says there are five of them, one for each team. Maybe the hearts have already been removed. Where would one find butchered wild meat in the village?"

as you are all sitting there thinking about what the items could be you see the 4 other groups all run off in the cardinal dirrections each one shouting and whooping in happiness.
you see Rodrick the mayors son instantly break away from his group with the list running at full speed towards the river on the western most side of town.

@Bran Minnick
Knowledge (Arcana) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 (No information)
Knowledge (Planes) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 (Stones of an Archangel) you seem to Remember crystals are an important stone in mythology
Knowledge (Local) Capped at 10 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13=10 Hmm, I saw the mayor's wife with the butcher in the old Maddin ruins once. I guess it was hot in there for them since they were taking off their cloaks. I think I saw a picnic basket with them that had some meats, although I'm not sure they ever ate it, does that count as a favorite food?" You seem to over hear Rodrick something about a pie of some sort
and you remember that there has always been a set of keys hanging someplace in the sheriff's hut

"Hey, guys, where's Rodrick going?" Not a moment later, Kip heads after Rodrick, with a long springing step.

Kip Frogmorton |

"I think the stones of an archangel are some kind of crystal, and the sheriff has a key in his hut. Maybe the mayor's wife likes big sausages? Or meat pies? I saw her in the ruins with the butcher once." Bran says to the others. "Woah, hey Kip wait up bro." Bran begins to follow him.
As soon as Bran (and any others who follow) catches up Kip says, "I don't trust Rodrick. That stuck-up brat must be up to something, breaking away from his group like that." He then ups his speed continues the chase.

Jaymin Thrushberry |

"He probably figures he can get all the glory, and prizes, for himself if he ditches his group," Jaymin says, easily catching up to the frog person. "So long as we work together, we can win this. That being said, if we're pretty sure on a couple of them, we can safely split up, better use our resources."
