How is everyone doing?

Am back in the saddle Cap'n, gearing up for a return to the boards o'er the coming weekend (work of course is stymieing my original mindseye plan).

Am somewhat recharged from the festive break and we returned from Dubai to an immediate emergency fostering of a Staffy pup (he was being kept caged in a shed by a impoverished family who just couldn't care for him anymore). 1 week into granting "George" his golden ticket we've decided to foster him forever :) Quite the change, alot sooner than our aching hearts planned, but he's been a tonic in these grim times.

Hope everyone in the US is safe and well, given the challenges both virulent and political that is sweeping the land. UK's in total lockdown and Brex**it is full flow.

Will endeavour to catch up with the game posts, so Kauly returns in full flow. Appreciate the patience by you all, and hope 2021 is a better year virtually and in reality for us all chaps.

Hi All. Off the topic a bit. I'm starting up a new Midgard game and could use a Divine Spellcaster. It's using the 5E game system, and starting out in Midgard. I'd rather recruit those I'm familiar with than go public... so if you're interested let me know.

Looks like the last Paizo update locked a bunch of folks out. I'm just getting back in. If anyone can read this but not login, try clearing out all the Paizo cookies from your browser and you should be able to get in.

Sure. You've always been able to share spells with him. If you can cast it on yourself, you can cast it on him.

I was wondering if say he was somewhere deep in the house... not invisible, then when I sensed his panic I could cast invisibility through him to escape. I know I can cast it if I touch him, but was wondering how that situation played out.

I wonder if Jim is locked out, too. If anyone has another line of contact with JW, you may want to direct him to toss some cookies.

Dingus- he can talk to you now so I rule that the same as telepathy rather than just empathy and yes, you can channel magic to him so he can just cast one of your spells on himself. So long as he's within a mile of you.

So in game, I put a map up on Roll20, if you all still have the link. I have Dibbs and Kaul sharing quarters, Jim and Corliss, and then Dingus has a big room to himself for all his clothes storage needs. Any changes or prep for possible cultist incursions?

Not had my vaccine - plan is for over 50s (which I someone am now part of :) to get their shots by May... so we'll see. Scotia still in total lockdown, hoping things might ease by mid-March. Again who knows...

I just became eligible for the vaccine this week and just made an appointment; they're already filled through early March. I'm OK other than for some heavy pandemic malaise.

I'll take a look at the map ASAP and try to post something soon.

No vaccine for me yet, either. My wife is on a waiting list atm.

We survived the snow reasonably well--fortunately it was light and fluffy, so clearance was much easier than the last round. We spent some time in central Wisconsin this past weekend...when the nighttime temps dropped to -15F/-25C. I also had to go to work this past Monday, which was less than pleasant. At least most people were driving sanely, and traffic was light.

And this is post #35,000 for me! OTOH, that's over almost thirteen years, so I have some excuse.

Aus vaccine will be a while yet - I think the first doses just rolled off the shelf, but I'll be in the last wave come Q3 or later.

Aye--at least a year-and-a-half, all told, and we've been having some safety issues lately that are probably due in part to pandemic fatigue/distractions.

Hey mateys - many apologies for the radio silence for far too bloody long. Work has been... probably the hardest stretch I've ever done. I'm writing this at 11:20 pm staring at probably another couple of hours work before I can contemplate seeking slumber.

Much stress and pressure, plus our lads are getting larger and interesting in their own ways (good, bad and indifferent). None of this of course is an excuse, but I've nary been able to find the headspace for much creative of an eve - which has obviously driven into the PbP space as well.

I'm not sure when / how I'll come out the end of it, but owe all you good sorts better than I've been giving you of late. I'd like to say give it another few weeks and see how I'm travelling... hopefully the door falls down a tad to more level and stable footing.

I just got through a two-week bout with covid-19 (thankfully mild), and the one lingering symptom is a diminished sense of smell. Wish you were back now, but we can wait a while longer.

The bookseller as written was actually killed in this plane, but I wanted to spice it up without really thinking through how everything would work.

I belatedly realized that I actually do have Occult Adventures so I'm now clearer on the specifics soooooo I'm just saying maybe there were a couple different types of doggo-monsters involved or maybe it's just "magic".

Happy to do some of the lifting for our absent mate - keep the little stinker in play for a while at least.

Possibly. I'm experiencing some slowness on the site, and often my posts don't show on the page even when they've gone through. I think once or twice I've moved on to another task assuming my post will go through...and it doesn't.

More common for me is to get distracted when I'm about to post, move on to something else, and forget that I never actually made the post.

Most of the time my posts don't show unless I go to another website and then come back to check my post and make sure it's there. It's really annoying.

I generally have to reload the page at least once to get new posts to show.

did you repost, Kaul? I do find that if I PREVIEW and then post, it usually shows up right away.
