Welcome, to the Core PFS Scenario 2-13: Murder on the Throaty Mermaid.

While escorting an Elven diplomat aboard a smuggler's ship, the ship is attacked by separatists. In the aftermath lies a murder mystery. Can the PCs find the murderer and interrogate everyone before taking the blame?

Question: Would it be better to hurry this up towards the finale? Or do you want to keep talking to NPCs? This is my second scenario I'm GMing, and it's going a lot slower than I anticipated.

I think you're doing well! PBP tends to go slow, and I did hear that some people rush it. I feel that the interactions are great!

I'm with Sunshine! I think you're doing good too. Gwen's just not a sense motive kinda gal (as I hope folks can tell). So she might be hanging around in the background a bit more than she did in the beginning of the game. What's going to happen when trouble turns up and she realizes she's still out of spells is anyone's guess--but I'm hoping for funny.

I think it's plenty of fun, derping around on this ship :)
Apparently nobody has a meaningful sense motives bonus (Gary with +4 is best i think), so there is that. We just all try to work with what we get - and that is propably mostly lies XD

And as was said, Pbp tends to be a very sloooow beast, so have patience oh great and mighty gm.

So I'm running a little non-PFS Kingmaker game and just lost my would-be Aldori duelist to "real life" and was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining (GM included of course)?

I would be looking for a similar role-filler (i.e. a front liner). Most other skills have been filled in one way or another-so you have a fair amount of leeway on building your character up from that.

Characters were built with 30 point builds and max money for their class (the previous GM's idea--yes, even I am a replacement). Everybody is still first level (we're like 4-5 legit encounters in, that and a lot of RP--which I am a fan of--as you might be able to tell).

As Kingmaker is the sand box game I will be weaving a lot of other material into the game (primarily old Dungeon Magazine adventures (maybe one or two I wrote)/SideTreks, other GameMastery Modules, and even bit of other APs that seem appropriate). The core of the campaign path will remain the same though. All that said because this is a sand box the players will have a ton of input on the campaign's direction (and consequently should post a whole lot ;)).

Anyhow, I don't want to detract from GM chadius's game anymore than I have already, but I wanted to float this here before I went messageboard-wide.

Note: Racism is a thing this far out of more cosmopolitan lands and not toward tieflings and ifrits but extending in some circumstances to even to ethnic Kellids (who live more or less right next door).

I'm applying to another Kingmaker that lost people right now, but I would prefer yours by far, sounds fun.
Obviously Chadius was first, so there is that, but would you consider two of us? ^^

Have a Changeling Cavalier/Bard/Battle Herald that really wants some Kingmaking.
(Played her in a offline Kingmaker until ca 70% of book 1, but her group alomost got total party killed, so she is easy to include as a survivor)

Would need to pull two levels of her and add some points, but since she is pretty MAD, that actually seems like a good deal :D

I think racism is a thing pretty much everywhere. Just the power it has in the system differs from place to place. ;)

A bit more intelligent than those two ^^ More like the typical movie swashbuckler, just that those never roll a natural 1 when doing crazy stuff. And he doesn't even get panache points for it^^
