DM wanted me to tell you all that he is in a field exercise and won't be able to post til at least Friday
Jhon Doe |
I had a busy Halloween weekend, but I´m here again!
thanks for rolling my perception
DM Snider |
So bear in mind that it is season zero. I tried to fluff where i could. I will have the chronicles done tomorrow. If you dont mind i would like to hear feed back on how i ran, the good, the bad, what you liked, what you would have done differently, and how you would have done it instead. you can post in discussion or in a priviate message. Thank you all for playing and i am up for running the scenario connected to this for all who are up for it.

Like I told you in person, I think grammar, spelling, and formatting go a long way in PbP. Just take the time to look stuff over before you submit it. Not being able to read something clearly really takes away from it for me. Also, I find battles without any map very confusing. But I really like what you did with the ghost kids and adding the creepy factor to it.

I've not seen any problem! My only tip would be about party selection (not aiming at anyone, you are great). This was an easy one scenario, but we went in with almost full melee and it could have turned really ugly!

I'd be down to do another one!
Good note about party selection. For the grammar/spelling, if you need help or want somebody to check it over I'm happy to help. Based on what Varuna said, you know your stuff but just need to slow your own writing pace down. I know you are busy, but it might help to type it up in notepad and then review it a couple of times. Then you can keep working on it when you have time until it is ready.
I like your method of organizing combat, but have you considered just letting each side have a turn if the initiative falls that way?
Lissa Meadowlark |
I messaged my info and critique.
But, I would like to reiterate that using spoiler tags to reveal things we can see is super helpful. Alternatively, go ahead and roll our perception checks and start initiative if the BBEG is surprising us.
DM Snider |
I am waiting on Jhons information to get the chronicles ready and game submited
Jhon Doe |
I have just send you my information.
In my downtime I want to nonviolently fight for the cause of liberty distributing revolutionary matherial between in the lodge, trying to find simpathizers between other pathfinders
Knowledge local DC 17: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
About the game. I love the creepy factor, I even forgot Jhon tries to pose himself as a brave warrior and can only think in no go near the ghosts.
I think party selection is the players responsability. It could be very bad if we need lots of knowledges, but this makes combats far more easy.
No map combats: they´re a little confusing, but if you tell us about the distances and what can everybody do it will be easier. I mean, when I was fighting in the pool, Buck will not ready an action if he was 30 feet away of the bug, but being 5 feet away it can be a good idea. So knowing the distance, deep of the pool and similar information can be useful.
Also, Lissa and her "obsesion" to see beaty in every rotten corpse has been fun to play with.
To end, it´s been a great game I enjoyed playing. Thanks for running it.

So i also know i have a few other gms here. how do you edit your chronicles online. when my computer crashed awhile back i forgot to redownload the program and now i dont remember what it was called. my buddy who normaly would normally help cant for awhile. so what do you guys use?
And can i get an exact player count of who is down for part 2
Lissa Meadowlark |

I do it in a rudimentary way; Print screen of the relevant page. Copy the image in a word document, insert text to wirte, then print in pdf.
The last chronicles I´ve done I used a pdf printer to have just the chronicle sheet as a pdf and used the adobe acrobat reader, because it has an update that allows to write and sign the document.Regarding to part 2, I think you talk about School of Spirits. If it´s the case, I´m currently playing it.
Hoshiko Masaru Kodo |
if School of Spirits is the second part then I am finishing that one up, so Hoshiko will bow out.
DM Snider |
Yes it is school of spirits lol alright well sounds good and i hope to see you all in the future. is there something else you guys would want to see ran instead.
@Jhon i will try that and see if i can get it to work
DM Snider |
I am sending the chronicles in emails as i cant get them to go onto the slides by the map. if there any discrepencies please let me know
Jhon Doe |
Mine is right thanks.
Run School of Spirits, it relates in an interesting ways and I think Buck and Ivaar will enjoy it.
After that we could think in rejoining.
Buck Swashler |
Mine looks good too! If you are done with this campaign, would you mark it as inactive? Send me a pm when you're ready for me to dot into the next adventure!
