Didn't realize the group had so many babies on the way! Good luck Moth and ADMAE! I and my partner are DINKs (Double Income No Kids), and intend to stay that way. We love our nieces and nephews and our cat, but have decided not to have any munchkins of our own. I have a great deal of admiration for all you parents out there!

Back to game stuff...
Mothman, I'm assuming that Keildrithe would have left the treasure listed below with the horses when they were parked outside of Lichford:
2 silver goblets – worth 50gp each
. pottery bowl – worth 1gp
. masterwork shortsword – worth 310gp new
. Atrek's masterwork longbow (and 20 arrows - incl. in gear above) – (composite longbow with +2 strength bonus, worth 600gp)
. Gnoll shortbow and 20 of Atrek's arrows
. pewter flagon (from wolf-men) – worth 500gp
. hack silver bracelet (from wolf-men) – worth 200gp
. eight tarnished silver torcs (from undead hands)
I'm thinking I should erase them from my sheet... after all, what are the odds, after several days/weeks, that we would find the horses where we left them with all the stuff we left on them? Pretty low, in my opinion...

It’s entirely up to you what you want to have ditched along the way; certainly some of that stuff (particularly the weapons) would have been pretty bulky.
Keep in mind though that when you abandoned the horses (at least as far as I could see) you had no intention of returning to them – Laithe set them free as it was decided that being found with horses easily identifiable as the ones stolen from Barg would not be a good thing. I don’t know if all the players clearly realized this at the time, but the characters would have. So it wouldn’t have been a case of leaving stuff with the horses with the intent of picking it up later and then not being able to; it would have been a deliberate decision to abandon this stuff at the time.
Which wouldn’t have been necessary; the intent was always to sell some of that gear in Lichford, I guess in all the subsequent excitement either that was forgotten or people assumed the gear was still with the horses. In fact Stonty could have (and I assumed did) bring some of your stuff to town on his wagon.
Whatever the fate of the other items, the silver torcs were from the tomb under the hill, so won’t have been with the horses.

Word of warning, the shop steamer blew up yesterday and spiked the mains. It killed the printer, the laptop power supply and the mouse plugged into the usb port. The laptop is acting real strange since then, locking up for long periods, Blue screens of Death, random reboots. I am praying that it is only corrupt drivers and not damage to the 5 volt circuit or any of the micro electrics.
So if I suddenly disappear, you know why.

Thanks for letting us know, hope it works out alright.
What's a shop steamer?

Mothman:
Some time ago, you asked what kind of magical items we would like to see fall into our PCss hands. If you're still open to suggestions, I'd like to recommend that Keildrithe's longsword--which he dug out from his father's grave--should gradually exhibit magical properties as he gains levels. If you would like to see some examples of how this might work, I highly recommend purchasing a PDF copy of the 2nd edition of FFG's Midnight campaign setting, available at http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=2718&it=1. A real bargain, at $10.00 (it's the campaign world I currently use in my table top game). That book includes examples of covenant items, items that gradually reveal their powers to their wielders, if the wielder's alignment, values, goals, etc., align with those of the item. They are not necessarily intelligent items, though some of them are. Covenant items are always unique, and have a back story that explains their origins and powers.
Here are examples of fan-made covenant items:

I much prefer the covenant item concept presented in Midnight than the approach taken by WotC to develop a similar concept in Weapons of Legacy.
Anyway, let me know what you think...

Good to know, hope it was nothing too serious.
I caught a stomach bug that was going around, lots of projectile vomiting and migraines, wore off just in time to go back to work. I also tore/strained something inside as it now hurts to move my right arm above chest hight or to lift anything heavier than a pint of beer. Well in truth the pint of beer hurts as well, but what are you going to do????

Fair call.
Yeah, I had a bad cough earlier this year that persisted for a couple of months, and developed pleurisy from that. Don't know if that's what's causing your pain, but it sounds similar. Frikken hurt to lift my arm, cough, breathe ... I figured at the time it was a bit melodramatic to describe the pain as like someone was stabbing a knife between my ribs, until the doctor used that exact description to me.
Hope it starts getting better soon (as I said, don't know if it's the same thing, but I found panadol did nothing but nurofen helped).

Hey all - I've been slack on the discussion thread, so my apologies. Work's exceedingly busy at the moment and using all my free time to try and post in-game (and not hold things up).
Speaking of which, I'll be out this weekend (Friday and maybe Monday included). Got a big bucks weekend planned and as the best man things will likely get messy...
Please don't allow Laithe to hold things up.

Where are you going for that one?

Moth, is there a city you already have a name for that would make sense as Ana's home, or should I make it up as I go?
There is Atus, which is the capital city of the grand but crumbling Atuscan Empire, and also the centre of the church of Arton. I think that's the only city down south that I've specifically named, so if you'd prefer not to come from that ancient and thriving metropolis, you are free to make something up.
