I wouldn't do that. Well, not without talking to the players beforehand anyway. I once ran a Ravenloft adventure and while the party was lost in the mists, I replaced one of the PCs with a doppleganger with the exact same abilities. I had taken the PC aside and told her to play her character normally for most of the game, and then at the final battle, to side with the head vampire. Great fun.

Curious if Joey could just receive the Inspired enchantment for his pistol and sword cane? :) The price would total 4k for the both. They would make him profusely more effective in combat. I'm justifying my argument to make it more convincing, but I'm not too proud to beg!

Technically that would be a +2 bonus (you can't add Inspired to a non-magic item; you have to make it +1 first and then add the Inspired, cost of which is +2 or 8000). That said, I'll allow it for one or the Other, your choice.

Any suggestions for a good item? I can already reload as a swift action, so the Beneficial Bandolier isn't much help to me. I don't wanna go for a stat boosting headband or belt, because they're kinda boring, and my AC is already pretty good.

I'm trying to think of something good for Dave too, all the Ki stuff is super expensive

The magic +1 bonus to attack doesn't stack with the Masterwork bonus. Also, you cannot enchant a non-Masterwork weapon or armor.

As for your inexperience, it's cool. We were all inexperienced once.

Just to verify, this is correct. The +1 enchantment replaces the +1 for mwk. So the weapon was +1/hit +0 damage (mwk) now becomes +1/hit +1 damage (magic) and overcomes DR/magic.

While adding my new item, I'm reminded I never got around to figuring the poisons he's made. I'll come up with a list for you by tomorrow rando, and you can think of costs to craft them if that sounds right by ya.

welcome back. hope you had a good vaca. you're currently in a small room and have a small fire elemental on the board attacking the bad guy.

Vacation was fantastic! We played a game called Steampunk Rally, which was a mix of a racing game and Galaxy Trucker. You got to play famous historical figures. Albert Einstein won in the end, because another buddy chose Tesla, and I HAD to take Edison, and we just took turns pooping on each other and swearing at each other in the game! It was great!
(Basically we were both driving with one hand and giving the other guy the finger with the other through the whole race! =-D)

Yeah, I just threw it in there as something to do. GM override. Whenever I have to act for a player character, I try to do something simple and not incredibly dangerous for the character.

Just for the record, if you ever have to pilot Joey, make sure he is as reckless and doing incredibly dangerous things at all times. ;P
