I do suggest that we purchase a wand of clw.

I second that and make sure it has as many charges as we can afford.

A wand of CLW is the most important tool in any adventuring kit.

Sorry, I went back and forth on it during character creation. It is entirely possible I confused my races in post!

Sounds like we're all in agreement, so who's going to actually go buy and hold it. I advise not giving it to Halungalom because he might not always use it on certain characters.

Virgil doesn't have UMD, yet.

Where were you guys having that discussion about the longshanks. Did we hear any of that?

The way I saw it in my head Quarick and I are at the bar on one end of the room while Virgil is on the other and everyone else is somewhere in the middle. I'm also assuming other patrons are here either to enjoy the evening or for this job but back out before the final roll call. As for our conversation Halungalom is racist but he tries not to affend since he really doesn't want to get stabbed in the back. So, I can't speak for Quarick, he'd be speaking at a volume so that only Quarick can hear him.
This is how the scene is playing out in my head if anyone is seeing it differently let me know.

If your taller than a Gnome or halfling than your average longshanks. Halungalom's feeling towards you would depend on your appearance, if you look like a human than he doesn't like/trust you, not that you know that at the moment, but if you look more like your jann parent he like/hate you any less then he does Quarick.
