I'm glad Rar'gul got to use dampen as well. At first I laughed and said to myself "what a cheater!" Lol!
There will indeed be a chance to rest coming up soon. Of course that all depends on escaping from Terrapin Station with a ship.
I'm hoping to write some sort of "story so far" post soon. This will mainly be for Yoro's benefit, but I think we'll all get something out of it.

For the 100th time, so glad Rar'gul's on our side. And this is going to be his fight. I feel it.
Got a funny idea for tomtesserae's new PC's background. The reptoids sent his replacement to kill him, but he realized what was up and won the fight. When he walked out of the room. He realized he was surrounded by reptoids, and has been pretending to be one ever since.

This is brilliant.

Thak, good to see you briefly with the mask slip. I'm looking forward to the game. My last Starfinder PC was a melee soldier, so I'm leaning towards a different kind of soldier (pistol dancer) or an operative (memory weaver). Ace Pilot is the theme. He will probably be a soldier, just exploring some options.
@Therealthom, that's a really fun idea. I will use that for part of his most recent background.

Love this!!!
Also, second the joy of having Rar'gul with us. GO BIG GUY!!!!

As you all might imagine, this particular book is coming to a close. Soon we'll be starting book 4!
Please begin planning what your level 7 character might look like! You will be heading toward civilization, so you may have a chance to purchase goods (though it appears likely that you may need to stay incognito at times).
There will be one more encounter after this one, then hopefully you'll be able to make your escape! I don't know...maybe Narla and the remaining reptoid will get lucky and finish all of you off!
These adventures can be a bit convoluted. You may want to make some notes in the slides regarding some of the information you're beginning to learn as you leave this moon. I know I'm having a hard time staying on top of everything, and I'm the GM!
Yoro's character will be joining you soon. Spoiler alert: he's (she's?) here at Terrapin Station. You'll meet soon.

I love this game.
Sucks that John's on his back, but he knew the risks and he's been pushing way too hard. Nice to see the wetzyl's down. Steward soon to follow, I'm sure.
Meanwhile Narla conveniently uncloaked where T'sorkel and Doc FB can beat on her, and DOc's drawn first blood in this re-engagement.

I'm so glad we're back underway with this game. I had missed it. I've been reading some of the older posts, going back two years ago. Some amazingly fun things have happened.
BTW, Narla is NOT in good shape. One or two more hits should take her down. The reptoid hasn't been damaged, but he's not too tough on his own.

I'm glad we're back in action, too. I thoroughly enjoy the story (even though the unanswered questions are adding to my grey hairs) and our little group even more. I'm also glad that Rar'gul is on your team. :)
I'd read back over most of the prison moon posts in refreshing my memory to return to play, but will definitely need to look over more of our adventure. There's certainly been some epic moments.

I can just imagine the scene from the movie! Narla unleashing her magic on Doc and T'sorkel, both of them returning fire. A close up of Narla as she delivers a one-liner and prepares for another magical barrage. Her eyes widen as the tip of a cane sword protrudes from her belly and she falls to the floor, revealing John, battered and bruised but back on his feet, coming to the rescue of his friends!

Nice work, team. A little disappointed not to be able to steal SuperS's description word for word, but glad we all got through that.
In this movie, John's down, Narla doesn't seem to be feeling the effects of Doc's shots. Close up of her smug, sneering expression as she "prepares for another magical barrage." Expression changes to disbelief and she looks at a hand that won't function to cast the spell. Whine of the sonic pistol, Expression deepens to shock and horror as the camera pulls out low over Doc F-B then farther out to look from behind T'sorkel at hip height to the shirren seems to loom over the entire scene. His arm ending in the pistol-gripping hand points accusingly at the crumpling reptoid-steward.
In the background, Rar'gul leans through the doorway over John, having dispatched 2 of the three opponents by himself.

The short countdown was back at Tyralkis base, when it was set to self destruct.
The reptoids could comeback in force to recapture us. We lied to a dragon; it might be pissed. Or what's left of terrapin's staff might leave in a ship here. So we are still in a hurry.
If you guys want to explore the rest of the station while John rests, that makes perfect sense to me. I'd be fine with it.

T’sorkel |

T'sorkel can use Healing Touch on John, but it takes 10 minutes. He would gain 30 hitpoints.

GM Quirk |

Going to be a little stretched thin this weekend (we're helping my Dad move). I hope to have some full posts by Sunday night.
Meanwhile, taking 10 should be fine here. Heal.
We're nearing the end of this book. Could there be one more hump to get over? Maybe?
Spend those spell slots and use those serums!

Unrelated topic:
Just for fun, not for SFS credit, I've been running the Scoured Stars arc. We just finished the Scoured Stars Invasion and are ready to begin the second half of the arc. Unfortunately we are down to 2 players now. Or perhaps fortunately if you'd like to join.

therealthom |

Yeah! I mentioned in my spoilered reply, but ET deserves a public shout out.
Lily's s post just prior was also quite awesome.
And happy to have you aboard, Janosian. Character generation rules were bog standard SFS, but I don't see why a lttle flexibility in species would hurt. Make me a pitch.

T’sorkel |

Thanks for all the positive comments! I do enjoy considering how T'sorkel can do all his abilities as an offshoot of his access to the Akashic Record. And the synergy with the theme of fake memories and deception is eerie. What if T'sorkel implants false memories? Mwhahaha!
I second that Dr. Flint-Bridge's post was awesome too. I think that's how we would all feel at this point.

Thank you both! That means a lot. I'm *so* glad we're moving forward again. I missed y'all. :D
I can't wait to bring Yoro's character in, too. It'll be good to have you at the virtual table again!!
@therealthom -- I'll pm you with a couple of character ideas. Don't want to clutter up the awesomeness with cross-game chatter. :)

Thanks, Thom! Looking forward to it. I haven't played any of those parts of the arc, except the special finale.
Janosian, I'm actually hoping to dust off one of my non-SFS characters that has sadly been left adventureless, if they'll fit (coincidentally, both happen to be pahtras):
Locket, formerly from GMQ's Absalom adventure and Junker's Delight (soldier, Qi Adept - whose alternate class/species options are all now SFS legal, I just discovered yesterday!) or
Reyn, from an abandoned Fly Free or Die campaign I was playing in alongside GMQ (a ranged solarian musician - focusing more on revelations and graviton rather than melee attack and solar)
If neither are suitable, I'm happy to think of something else.
