Here a few start preparations. I plan starting later this week (thursday+ so that we can finish the discussion here first). Before that here needs to be cleared if any of the characters know each other.

Like I stated in the recruitment thread it is the easiest that all characters arrive with the same caravan at falcons hollow (we will start shortly before the arrival about 1 night before still in the woods). Thus the question is primarily do the chars know each other from before that or do they know each other from the caravan? (a few could have joined the small merchants caravan even 2 days earlier)

Reporting for duty! I think it might be best to meet the others for the first time on the caravan.

Also reporting for duty. With my background I probably know only people who were at the five king mountains in the last 2 years. Else I've been with the caravan for 3-5 days and as I'm pretty curious I probably came into talks with the more unusual people there (while writing into a journal of sorts).

Bhoors is very much the type that would be willing to take a job guarding or guiding a caravan. Perhaps the travelers like fresh game and a scout ahead.

Well, here I am. Sorry about the lapse in communication. I didn't see that the thread had been made already. I don't see a reason that Lux couldn't go either way. Maybe she knows these others or maybe she doesn't. She relatively young and inexperienced--there might be something in another person's back story that she links up with. I will take a look in a bit.

Ryue takes it with humor. I know him a bit from RL rpg sessions.

Daedron has traveled down from the five king mountains towards Andoran and is quite inquisitive himself while taking up every opportunity to misunderstand customs and situations and behaviour. He even once mistook a lovers greeting for the normal greeting between strangers lets stay with that that he doesnt make a single error twice and he wasn't laughed out for long. His flames disapproved the laughter quite a bit.

Aside from that he is inquisitive and curious and makes notes about everything he can in his journals. He writes most of the notes in a strange language (no clue if anyone knows that language). He also tries his hand at drawing what he sees and people.....which he is quite bad at, and he loves to tell stories about legends he heard.

@ tube as daedron/takato mentioned: no problem. Latest tomorrow I would have sent a pm anyway to see who is in and who not and if some chars know each other or not

I think due to the nature of her backstory Berry wouldn't know anyone really.

So to summarize what I read: The characters just met on the caravan and dont know each other too well so far.

Unless there is good reason to have met before, I don't think Tokhan would have met them from the stories I read.

Kk as that is then cleared ill try to start later today as none of the others that were interested but didnt have a char so far said something in recruitment.

On that note: if anything seems unsuited for (or going too slow/too fast) pbp let me know immediately.

sry took me a bit longer than expected (fell ill on friday and took me all my concentration I could gather to make the post today).

In essence its start of the evening now and I would also need to know who is taking guard and who not and in which order tnx (didnt want to put that much into ooc at once).

We need to put the game on auto pilot, if someone can't act we need to be able to just kind of nudge them along with a set of standard actions or something.

I had a similar plan there but wanted to take it easy for the first few posts.

So didn't know that nongroup initiative would work for pbp (just had a conversatoin there). For this combat all characters can act before the wolves, then the wolves act (for next combat I'll incorporate all things that I learned with this combat like I mentioned already new to pbp so learning there)

but problem is it is about 1 post every 3 days as it seems from what I gather that is not how it usually goes. Thus my question and no need to feel stepped onto ones toes there it is a question nontheless ;)

There is one although you didnt think too highly of that one he didnt seem to be quite experienced with wounds.

??? I was looking under the character's tab and so no classes with healing. Am I missing something?

the merchants themselves have one who has a bit of experience with tending to wounds but he isnt a very good healer.

btw bigger post upcoming tomorrow (no fever today at long last...seems like I'm getting ok again)

I know falcons hollow quite well myself through the books. The moving statues are known to all who take a closer look at the tower.

The wolf pelts I would guess either the market or that one general store?
