This is the discussion thread for The Stolen Heir.
This thread is for out-of-campaign roleplaying and rules chatter. Please confirm you character here - I will launch gameplay as soon as everybody is in.
Like I said, I might need some time to prepare, but the monday flight probably takes care of it

Fizzbeard here!

Since we have a rogue type I'll bring in this Bladebound Magus I want to try out. You can stick with the oracle that way also.

DM Kludde |

Hi, and welcome all. Thanks for taking the time to join in. I've started up the gameplay thread. With apologies for the huge text dump...

![]() |

I thought about switching to my necromancer but he's still in the final fight of another game and bad rolls have been dragging it out longer than it should have been. So I'll stick with the gnome paladin for now.

![]() |

I like the paladin! He will be good for some excitement, I bet.

DM Kludde |

I'm half tempted to just sit back and grab the popcorn. Nice going!
I've put up an area for combat maps, handouts, etc here (that's Major Colson you see there). I'm keeping it in the header of as well, for easy access.

Minion: squeek squeek
Kludde: Nono, you're mistaken, the messenger must have gotten lost
Minion: squee squeek
Kludde: No posts for a full twelve hours? These guys have been keeping me plastered over the past few days, and now you say there's no posts? Did the dogs get them?
Minion: squeek
Kludde: Planet made a full revolution? What difference does that make?
Minion: squee squeek
Kludde: They didn't seem to mind their sun crossing the equator.
Minion: squee
Kludde: Their sun crosses the equator, then makes a full revolution. They celebrate both. I'm lost. Will they be back?
Minion: squeek squeek
Kludde: Now you start about alcohol and metabolism. Get to the point, minion!
Minion: sq sq squeek
Kludde: Ah, I get it. May be this helps.
(taps communication system. High-pitched sound)
DEAR - ahem - Dear players. Congratulations on making your 2014th round around the sun. May your connection troubles be few and your
(how did you call that again?) (Squee) (ah)
hangovers subside quickly.
Kludde: Than you, minion. Now go punish the autocorrect again.
Great 2014 to the fastest-paced table I've hosted!

I think we've been around more than 21 centuries, heh heh. Though I believe we are entering 4714 here in Golarion. Happy New Year, Pathfinders!
It seems posting slows once combat hits. Turn orders and the like, I guess.

![]() |

I'll be attending Space City Con/Winter in Galveston this weekend. The place has wi-fi so I might be able to post each day but I still wanted to give a heads-up while I thought of it.

DM Kludde |

I'm dragging out this encounter slightly to give everybody the chance to interact. Meanwhile, being close to the conclusion of this scenario, could you all make sure your PFS#s are accessible, or otherwise send them to me?

Wot? You've been wearing the same shirt for three weeks?!

Yes, and let me tell you, my wife is not happy with me.
Seriously, though, I have 5 shirts and 2 folios, so take your pick.

Yay us! There is a VTT game that I wish Maldoc to play in tomorrow so if I can get the chronicle from you it would be awesome.

@Shel: glad you like Fizz! As for the cousin character, go for it!
Unfortunately there's not much about Smiad (yet) and the Pathfinder Wiki has about all there is out there. I believe he first made his appearance on the inside cover of the Chronicle of the Righteous player companion where all the Empyreal Lords are listed. Aaaaand that's it. He's the archon empyreal lord of dragon hunting, honor, and renown and you can fill in the other details as you like.
Realize that in order to worship him in PFS (especially if you get your powers from him) I believe you have to own the book. I also imagine that when the new hardcover Gods of the Inner Sea comes out soon there will be more about the empyreal lords in there and hopefully Smiad will get a paragraph or even a page. But for now there's not much to him beyond honor, renown, and dragon hunting.
Now I just need the money to put dragon-bane on his sword and get him some dragon hide armor.

![]() |

Thankfully, I do not plan on playing in PFS with the character, Mike! It's just a regular PbP game.
A god that likes honor, renown, and slaying dragons? Has there ever been a more perfect deity for a brash little paladin? Kudos to you for discovering that one. I am hooked!
Oh, I know! I already had the idea for Fizzbeard set, I just couldn't decide on the right deity. I started glancing down the empyreal lord list though and Smiad jumped right out as *perfect* for him.

Personally I really like Fizz and Shel quite a bit. I'm guessing Quiven would actually go very well with those two. Yeah, or Jaysin, especially the way he's been developing I can see how he would react to these two.

![]() |

Lol, I've been enjoying Jaysin's development.
