Alright guys, you know the drill. Here's who I got so far.
Player Great Green God
Character Shonne
PFS # 139009-1
Faction Silver Crusade
Day Job Kicking Ass! (It doesn't pay much but it looks awesome.)
Note Shonne isn't much of a mage.
Player: Cwethan
Character: Dunia Mbani (Ectoplasmatist Spiritualist 7)
PFS #: 182453-2
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day Job: Using Downtime for Elemental Voyager Boon, taking 10 to check off two boxes.
Dunia herself battles as something akin to a bad-touch magus. She uses reach, combat reflexes and Phalanx Formation to be as much of a hassle on her enemies' turns as possible.
Player: Paper Drake
Character: Rogal 'Bronze' Bogslagsun (Hunter 6 / Mutagenic Mauler Wild Child Brawler 3 / Mammoth Rider 1)
PFS #: 231699-4
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job: Profession ( Soldier )
Player: TriShadow
Character: Fendel, CSI: Absalom (Alchemist 2/Lorewarden 2/ Investigator 4/ Student of War 1)
SLOW PROGRESSION
PFS#: 151777-2
Faction: Dark Archive
Day Job: Craft, Alchemy: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (17) + 25 = 42 Includes Crafter's Fortune
Player: Greymore
Character: Braxus Ironheart
SLOW PROGRESSION
PFS#: 133512-7
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: Profession(Brewer): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
We'll probably get a 6th soon. Maps will be added to my line and at the campaign tab. I look forward to attempting to kill.... I mean, taking you on a fantastic adventure!

![]() |

Ah, sorry, we already rolled the Day Jobs, I see.
Profession ( Soldier ): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
I mean, dotted.

![]() |

I am sorry, the game started with a very good pace, so I didn't have much time to give a proper PbP treatment to the character updating his profile, and now I need to do two of them somehow. If the specifics of the build are an issue, I can provide those in other formats I have them - PDF/doc via email, etc.

GM_Starson |

No worries, My brother in law actually has a mammoth rider, so I'm at least not suprised with how it work

![]() |

... In those 5-foot wide dungeon corridors. People really need to start riding more huge-sized jellyfish. ;)

![]() |

I say we take on the beast demon. Since it doesn't make a difference(thanks for letting us know btw) I would prefer not risking Dunia and Shonne(who are both at lvl 7) vs the hard mode encounter. If the vote goes the other way and we go after the tougher demon, I've got a potion of fly I can use to stick with the floater or drive it to the ground. No matter what we do, it is probably going to hurt, but I think we can pull off either. I still vote for the beast demon.

![]() |

I vote for the demon beast as well. No need for another "Entanglement" fight....ever.

GM_Starson |

Yeah, I read it over twice, scratched my head and I'm like "Why would you let people think that they might have to choose the harder encounter when their is no difference in prestige, gold earned, ect? There is different item that can be found, but it's a core rulebook item! This thing is MEAN."
Don't get me wrong, I'd love the chance to kill you again Braxus, but I like you to know what your in for when I do it.

![]() |

One "death" was enough thanks, heh. We don't have Lore with us to save me either.
BTW, that was an epic fight and I was glad to be a part of it. Lots of fun.

![]() |

Why not both?

![]() |

I totally feel that as a character Bronze would be up to handle both, preferably starting with the meaner one. But as a player I actually don't want to be fighting something flying and dangerous while I could avoid it.

![]() |

I totally feel that as a character Bronze would be up to handle both, preferably starting with the meaner one.
'Starting with'? I meant at the same time.

![]() |

Are these patches of lava on the map or what? If so, I'd say Bronze wouldn't ride that close to them. Given that they are on the steppe, I think they'd see it from some distance.
Also, that white auroch is frightening indeed - its land speed must be more than 90' to avoid Halflight for any time if it lets them come to up to 500'. Hasted, the cat could beat 675 in three rounds. It has Chameleon Step for up yo six rounds a day, so 1350 in six rounds.
I get the desire to streamline things for PbP, but it got railroaded to the extent that a group of high-level Pathfinders does not seem capable of tying their own shoelaces.

GM_Starson |

Their not patches of lava, but they are indicators of the before mentioned "Odd patches in the ground".
As for it's speed, I didn't "Shortchange it for PBP", that's how it's set up in the adventure. Now, if your advocating that we step back, and recon that bronze and halflight do a burst of speed to attempt catch up with the white Auroch, we can do that.
Since I can't do the infamous "GM voice" in PBP, I'll just let you know I'm doing it. But...
Are you SURE you want to do that?

GM_Starson |

Thankfully, I'm overly familiar with all the worldwound stuff because I'm a lore nut, but I gotta admit, I did not see a "Dismissal" coming.

![]() |

What to copy some spells Shonne?
Sure.

![]() |

This enchantment on Halflight's AoMF.
Sorry, I've been using it for some time now in games online without issues and no GMs ever objecting to how it works. It is only now that I used it in a more organized manner that I have found out that there are different possible readings of how it works - so table variation is possible. For the sake of this last battle, we could have applied the less overpowered one - the bonus increase works out for each individual weapon, but Halflight sort of did seven consecutive Bite attacks anyway...

![]() |

Thankfully, I'm overly familiar with all the worldwound stuff because I'm a lore nut, but I gotta admit, I did not see a "Dismissal" coming.
I was hoping that it would have gone to another plane. Disintegrate was my other option but I think all that would have done was to paint a large target on me.

GM_Starson |

Hey, 20% chance to have it end up in the elemental plane of water or something else would have ben hilarious.
Meh, I counted it as the higher one anyways, these things are beefy enough without me being to much a stickler about it. I mean, I'm glad you guys are playing 4 player adjustment otherwise there would be 3 of these things!
And if your wondering how it's still up, it's basically due to several claw attacks missing due to it's frankly absurd AC+penalties taken for grapple. And even then, all Dunia has to do is hit it and it'll be down.

![]() |

I also hope Dunia can take AoOs and won't forget to do that, since the demon provoked like three times since her last attack against it.

![]() |

Since/if it's dead I'm not too concerned. Also, GM, my apologies on forgetting the humanoid restriction

GM_Starson |

No problem. I just had a spell fail because of a similar restriction, they show up at the WORST times.

![]() |

... If the target would not normally have lustful feelings toward the designated creature or object, it receives a +4 bonus on its saving throw.
I feel like this part of Unnatural Lust's description should apply to Bronze and Halflight, making his save total 19. Would that be a pass?

GM_Starson |

Hmmm.... I forgot about that line. But I don't think the demon would.
Tell you what. 1 it made you go after halflight, cause demons are jerks, and it doesn't affect you, 2 the demon being smarter than the GM controlling him would have had you go towards Dunia instead.
LUSTY!: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Welp, looks like you make the save. How sad, that would have been fun.

![]() |

As Shonne's next 10 levels are going to be Eldritch Knight levels without access to the wizard's get two free spells every level Shonne takes advantage of the opportunity.
Shonne would like to add: identify (10gp), mirror image (40gp), circle of protection v evil (90gp), fireball (90gp), fly (90gp), tongues (90gp), versatile weapon (90gp), arcane eye (160gp), dimension door (160gp), dimensional anchor (160gp) and greater invisibility (160gp), to her spellbook; if that's cool with you. Taking 10 on spellcraft, she can auto-succeed all of them, and spends 1,140 gp on ink and 15 gp for a new spellbook to put the level 4 spells in.

![]() |

This weekend I am traveling and I expect to be pretty busy. It's a last minute trip about buying a new house. I will be able to post, but infrequently until the evenings.

![]() |

Sorry, is it possible that we try and wrap this up this next week? I'd like to use the character on the Special on the Kon next Saturday.

GM_Starson |

No problem. In fact, if your all in agreement that the beacon should be placed at the abandoned town, then this mission is finished, all that is left is wrap up and reporting, and since the only one that's gonna be tricky is fendel, you'll be good to go.
However, Fendel, I know you can't post because tablet, but i demand a amazing Fen the Chichilla post when you are able to do so. :P

![]() |

On the plus side, chinchilla fur is warm.

GM_Starson |

I'll have the sheets up as soon as I'm finished modifying them, which will probably be early tomorrow.
If your interested, my next one in my pursuit to do all of season 5 will be Scenario #5–11: Library of the Lion, a 1-5 scenario. I always give preference to people in my last game, so let me know if you have a character you want to lock in for that, It'll probably start in a few days.

![]() |

Love that scenario! I'll have to take a pass on it though.
Thanks for running!

GM_Starson |

Alright, Chronicle sheets are up!
Let me know if I botched anything and I'll get you a new chronicle right away!

![]() |

Thanks for running the game. I, unfortunately, already played the Library, but thanks for the offer as well.

![]() |

Chronicle looks great.
Gah! I would love to play 'Library', but I have too much going on at the moment. I will of course see you all on the boards.
Hope you all had a good time, it was great to have an opportunity to play with you all.

![]() |

Braxus is Liberty's Edge. If you could add that, the chronicle would be perfect.
BTW, did anyone else notice the Subtier 6-7 is likely a typo of the scenario and should be Subtier 10-11?

GM_Starson |

Fixed! Best of luck everyone, hope to see you soon!

![]() |

Looks good here thanks all for the game. I have to decline the "Lion" for now Starson, but thanks for the offer.

![]() |

I also have to decline the Lion, but only because I have too much on my plate at the moment, what with completing the sale on a new house and getting ready to sell and move from my current place. Thanks again for the fun Starson. I will look you up in your next one after Lion if things have settled down by then.
