He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬
Keandre Glasmiter wrote: He shrunk but it looks like the app works. Yeah. Slides is still best used with a mouse. Basically the moment you put your finger on whatever it is you want to move don't take it off just move, then tap something else, like the blank bits of the slide. If you ever flip, shrink, stretch, or squash your token into unrecognizable goo realize that I occasionally leave copies of the tokens off to the side for you to copy and paste a new one from.

Alright, I realize that everyone and their mom has played First Steps 1 at least three times, and don't want to use spoilery knowledge to ruin it for the newer gamers out there, but there is this thing called 'role-playing' where players take on the role of their characters including what they know and how they would act in a given situation. Standing around for ten minutes while the newest party member does most of the work is something that might be fun for some of the sadists at my home table as a form of hazing, but alas our table is virtual, and I would like to finish this game before Gameday XXVII kicks off, kapeesh?
Now, I could just make Annuit write a class paper about what he does in the room (on his Summer vacation) or just write it out myself, but neither of those options really add to the whole RP experience. In short, more participatory posting would be appreciated.... Though I could imagine Annuit loosing it and try to grab Lars while screaming "YOU TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT THEN!!"
Stay thirsty.

Of course that's all contingent upon us actually finishing... I haven't seen anyone, but Annuit posting since last Friday. That's half a week+ between posts.
What does Lars do when Auntie Baltwin chases all the kids to their rooms?
How does Jeanne react to Baltwin's snide remarks in regards to the other characters in the party?
What's Keandre doing?
Inquiring GM's want to know.

Heads up folks, Jeanne's player is apparently unavailable, due to an accident of some sort, leaving us to bot d'Eon's characters here and in a number of other games across the boards. I only have rumor to go on as to d'Eon's condition but 'alive' is what the scuttlebutt suggests.
Also I am ending this game in two weeks come heaven, hell, or high water so that I can get on with my vacation. Considering we started in May, I figure we all need a break.

A question so stupid I wonder why I didn't asked before: could we drag Joanna prone's body out of the way?

Keandre Glasmiter wrote: I pray all is well and if she is I'll for a speedy recovery. The last I heard d'Eon was okay but again this is all supposition. d'Eon was running about 10 Gameday games and folks started noticing when d'Eon didn't show up to GM. When I got wind of that that's when I started looking around for more info. I haven't looked much these last few days because of my own real life but wherever d'Eon is I hope he/she is okay.
Lars Ullrich wrote: A question so stupid I wonder why I didn't asked before: could we drag Joanna prone's body out of the way? Yes (see linked FAQ), you can reach into adjacent squares and move things around. But if you are merely worried that she is your way, don't. She's not. Since she's just laying there, and isn't a gelatinous cube or anything bigger you can just stand over her fallen form and fight from there as well. Remember, you guys are not five-foot cubes. That's just the space you need to be able to fight freely in (and even then you can still fight albeit at a disadvantage). Jeanne doesn't even count as difficult terrain for you.
