His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. The man called Larkin falls to the ground unconscious.

Jeanne retrieves her weapon and stands up while the standing is good. "Did we win?" she asks still a little dazed.

The vapor obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).

Technically you need to have 'line of sight' on a target for that spell to work. But because we need to close this game out before your vacation, I'm just going to move you next to your target, have you stick your tongue out at Keandre and say "Nyah, nyah!" make the concentration check (with authority!), and scare the bejesus out of your target. ;)

Sacrificing Jeanne in her heavy armor to the guards' interrogation, Annuit and Keandre yank Lars out of the alleyway an into the crowd. They drag the skald until he is able to stand on his own and then tear off in the direction of the Grand Lodge like a pack of errant street boys.

Later, as everyone huffs and puffs in the Venture-Captain's fourth-floor office.

The Venture-Captain was standing looking out of his window as the sun set over the western arm of the bay, when the party burst through his door.

He did not turn, but only reminded them that had his door been a dungeon door that it might well have been trapped, and that without a proper door drill they might all well be dead now.

As the last rays of light faded over the horizon and offices lanterns took up the burden of providing light Valsin turns and says: "Well?"
