I find at 1st level noone has impressive damage; unless you are a two handed barb with Str 18. I think power attack is a waste until 3rd.

Happy to hit half the time...lol.

OMG I managed to connect!

I've been at the Star Trek convention in Las Vegas. Unfortunately the room internet is pretty bad and I can usually stay connected to the Paizo site only briefly before it errors out with some kind of security error. So I can read and I can post about two sentences at a time but if I try to do more than that it eats my posts and errors out.

I also can't update maps from here. :/

I am returning home Monday night and will be back in regular internet-land on Tuesday.

* Updated the map
* Moved zombies and had them make attacks, and had the frontline make their readied counterattacks
* Gave control to a bunch of tokens to their respective players who spoke up on the Roll20 page

Is there a way in through the stables? I assume one side of them is open for the horses to enter through (can't imagine that they'd be traipsing through the tavern itself).

Yep, the doors on the back side connect directly there. As noted in a prior description (when Dragz woke up), the stables are covered in viscera from slaughtered horses, but nothing is stopping you from going in through the back door.

At this point you folks need to start figuring out your pseudo-kingdom-building stuff!

The first thing to do is to fill the "kingdom positions." You aren't really a kingdom, but you are running a survivor community, so many of the same standards apply.

Kenabres defaults to being a Lawful Good town, so your alignment for the community is already set.

The roles you need to consider are:

RULER: Should be someone with a good Charisma who isn't afraid to make tough decisions!

COUNCILOR: This person handles complaints and requests from the other survivors and dependents. Should have good Charisma or Wisdom.

GENERAL: In charge of your "military," such as it is. Strength/Charisma.

GRAND DIPLOMAT: This is your talky-talky person if you run into other survivor groups. Intelligence/Charisma.

HIGH PRIEST: For a community of your size, basically the person who does daily services and quotes religious books. Wisdom/Charisma.

MAGISTER: Your resident teacher/instructor/sage-type. People come to this person for information, book learnin', and magical help. Intelligence/Charisma.

MARSHAL: Organizes and handles border patrols. Gets important as your territory expands and you run into demon-controlled areas. Wisdom/Dexterity.

SPYMASTER: Keeps an eye on things going on outside... and in. Intelligence/Dexterity.

TREASURER: Basically, handles tracking your inventory of stuff. Again, a role that increases in importance as you expand. Intelligence/Wisdom.

WARDEN: Guards the leader and enforces the laws. Strength/Constitution.

You can leave a spot vacant (though this makes things a little harder), and you can ask NPCs to fill roles as well. You can also change roles later, though this may cause some grumbling if you abdicate a position completely.

You should discuss this kind of organizing IC - your characters should realize that it's time to organize your settlement, and that you have to fulfill certain duties if you're going to survive.

Merlin self-confidence has always been low, because of his fear of being a witch. He may or may not be gaining some, since this event, but I doubt he would volunteer for something;; unless appointed then he would take on the responsibility.

Sorry for the lack of posts from me, guys; without a computer I'm stuck posting via tablet - and I hate typing on a tablet. New computer parts should be arriving in the next couple of days, though, then another day or two for assembly and I should be good to go.

As for the positions, I think Luci would be best suited as the General; she's not lacking in Strength or Charisma, though if Darya wants to take it instead (I can't recall her stats off the top of my head, but she should have a decent Charisma score as well),feel free.

Posting may be a little erratic as I'm on vacation this week. Darya is also focused on Str and Cha, but Luci may be more suited to be the General.

Interesting that we don't have anyone volunteering to be Ruler yet. Warden would also work pretty well I think.
