SPECIAL ABILITIES
------------------------------
Bloodline (Celestial)
Bloodline Power - Angelic Attacks (Su): At 1st level, your melee attacks are considered good-aligned weapons for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction. Furthermore, when you deal damage with a melee attack to an evil outsider, you deal an additional 1d6 points of damage. This additional damage stacks with effects such as align weapon and those granted by a weapon with the holy weapon special ability.
Bloodrage (8 rds/day): The bloodrager's source of internal power grants him the ability to bloodrage. At 1st level, a bloodrager can bloodrage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, he can bloodrage for 2 additional rounds per day. Temporary increases to Constitution (such as those gained from bloodraging or spells like bear's endurance) don't increase the total number of rounds that a bloodrager can bloodrage per day. The total number of rounds of bloodrage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours don't need to be consecutive.
A bloodrager can enter a bloodrage as a free action. While in a bloodrage, a bloodrager gains a +4 morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, he takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the bloodrager 2 hit points per Hit Die, but these disappear when the bloodrage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While bloodraging, a bloodrager cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.
A bloodrager can end his bloodrage as a free action. When the bloodrage ends, he's fatigued for a number of rounds equal to twice the number of rounds spent in the bloodrage. A bloodrager cannot enter a new bloodrage while fatigued or exhausted, but can otherwise enter a bloodrage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a bloodrager falls unconscious, his bloodrage immediately ends, placing him in peril of death.
Indomitable Stance (Ex): At 1st level, a steelblood gains a +1 bonus on combat maneuver checks, to CMD against overrun combat maneuvers, and on Reflex saving throws against trample attacks. He also gains a +1 bonus to his AC against charge attacks and on attack rolls and damage rolls against charging creatures. This ability replaces fast movement.
Armored Swiftness (Ex): At 2nd level, a steelblood moves faster in medium and heavy armor. When wearing medium armor or heavy armor, a steelblood can move 5 feet faster than normal for that armor, to a maximum of his unencumbered speed.
Blood Sanctuary (Su): At 3rd level, due to the power of his blood, a bloodrager can stand confidently amid the effects of spells cast by himself or his allies. He gains a +2 bonus on saving throws against spells that he or an ally casts.

Background:
Iomenna bet-Melkiel is a true daughter of the Mendevian Crusades. Both of her parents have served in the crusades before her. Her father, an Aasimar named Melkiel, serves as a sergeant in a small battalion operating out of Kenabres. Her mother, a human woman descended from refugees from Sarkoris, served under another commander. The two met on the field of battle, where they fought back to back against the demonic hordes of the Worldwound and found love in the most unlikely of places. The two were married in a chapel of Iomedae within weeks of their meeting, and they began a family, having two children, Iomenna, and her younger brother, Harsiel.
The family was relatively happy, at least as much as their life in Kenabres would allow, but their tranquility was disrupted when Iomenna was around 10 years old. It was then that a wave of demons spilled out of the Worldwound and raided the outer settlements of Kenabres. The children's parents were out on duty, so Iomenna was left alone to defend her 7 year old brother. She stood bravely against the small demon that entered their home, holding only an old longsword that her father had left in the house for emergency use. Her thin arms were unaccustomed to the weight of the blade, however, and the demon easily struck her across the face. The creature assumed he had killed the girl, then moved on toward the young boy. Iomenna blacked out before she saw what became of her brother. When she awoke from a near comatose state almost three weeks later, he was gone.
Since that night, Iomenna has grown inexplicably strong and large, towering over her own mother and looking even some of the town's more impressive warriors right in the eye. The demon's attack seemed to somehow stir the Celestial energies passed on to her from her father, and now, she has grown into a powerful young warrior in her own right, filled with a passionate zeal to make her way into the Worldwound and beat back the demonic plague with her every breath.
