I'm going to be traveling from Sep 11-24 with limited internet access. During that time I may try to post on rare occasions, but you should generally feel free to bot any actions you feel would be appropriate. Yasmin's tactics are pretty straightforward - Haste to start, Freezing Arc in the middle, Magic Missile or Acid Splash to mop up.


Just waiting to see if there are strong objections to the plan of returning to Fort Inevitable... if you folks are heading back, are you ascending through each of the levels (you are approximately half a mile underground now) or are you going to utilise the emerald crystals to transport through the spire? Note that, if you choose to do so, you will need to be in physical contact with the spire column to commence your journey.

    -Liquid assets here are 2,300gp (coins and gems)
    -Misc assets to be traded/sold are 2,250gp (ceremonial jewelry, bejeweled longsword, horned bronze skull, chunk of hematite). After a 30% tax these items would net us 1,575gp. Add the liquid assets of 2,300 for a total of 3875gp.

    This totals a value of 775 gold coins for each of the 5 of us.

    Everyone else - I don't recall which maps we've sold to Royst. Do we have any new completed maps to sell?
    GM Zed, I want to purchase an oil of align weapon which I believe should cost 300gp (CL 3 x spell level 2 x 50gp = 300gp cost)

    I think a wand of Resist Energy would be useful. Resistance to Fire for 10 mn would be an important asset in the Spire


    You folks can go ahead and liquidate the assets as you see fit… however, the latter items on Grayface’s list (Horned Bronze Skull onwards) were, as far as I was aware, replaced outside of the Mistress of Thorns’ domain? If this was the case, then your net assets may be a little less than suggested.

    …and, if you can afford it, go ahead and buy those potions / wands…

    If no one else has any further need to do anything within Fort Inevitable, I will move us along a little later today.

    Okay so that makes the new liquid assets 1,150gp + 1,155gp leftover after 30% tax on the jeweled sword and jewelry, making a new total of 2,350gp. Divided by 5 is 461 gp each.

    I still am waiting on an answer about Royst's maps.

    In hindsight, I will not make any purchases since the take was so low. Grayface is ready to go back to the spire.

    Is there any chance Yasmin could use her frost magics to lessen the risk of contact with the lava, or somehow make the job easier? For example, she could pre-cool the area with some Freezing Hands.

    I defer to Grayface. But I suggest if we rip out the corpse now and head back, Ea can prepare speak with dead and talk to her. Also, she might be important enough to receive a Raise Dead spell from some high up Hellknight. Then we can get intel.

    Let's try this out. We'll have your flying minion hammer in some pitons to which we tie some rope. Then Gray can climb out on the rock face and chisel at the melted plate and try to dislodge it.

    I agree, let's get the dead chick out of the wall. Even if Murassa doesn't care about her fate either way, and is, in fact, a bit glad that a Hellknight contingent is now dead.


    So... I went looking for the aura details for Stone of Alarm... And ended up paying fifty-ish dollars for a seriously big (and quite cool) collection of Pathfinder / RPG pdf's from the Open Gaming Store (think it's okay to post the link in this little corner of Paizo's website?)

    I keep forgetting to use my Spell Tattoo ability. I can basically inscribe a tattoo daily that'll let a party member cast a spell Yasmin knows as long as the spell lacks material components. My thought was to let Grayface cast Mirror Image 1/day to improve his tanking. but I'm open to other suggestions. For instance, Dimension Door (which I'm learning now) is another spell I could give out.

    ABP: +1 Resistance, +1 Natural Armor, +1 on the Negating Scimitar, no other armor for the armor bonus
