I've got Thordak pretty much leveled up. I'm still trying to nail down a rage power though.

I have the toughest time with those.

Added spells, 4th, Dimension Door (but if people think I should get Black Tentacles instead can change to that), 3rd fly, stinking cloud, 2nd web.

Skills +1 Spellcraft, +1 UMD, +1 Bluff

the extra 3rd level spell known comes from human alt favored class bonus

new bloodline ability - Dreamshaper

P.S. can anyone create wondrous items? .... maybe my next feat?

I've got Craft magic weapons. I may add more Crafting-feats if the DM will oksy them.


I have no problem with crafting feats. In fact, in all of our RL games, someone has one or two. Most economical way to get the things you want/need. The only issue game-wise is finding the time to craft. Not really an issue in RotRL.

I hope you don't mind the extra information that I throw in on geography and other stuff. I just feel that it helps round out the story as a real, live, place and not just a paper adventure.

Due to an oversight on my side, it's actually 3 magic missiles and 2 summon minor monsters. No ear-piercing shrieks. ^^;

My apologies for the delay in getting back. Worked through the New Year's weekend combined with a stomach flu and a busted ankle left me low for the first week of the new year.

Added a level of fighter.
-Changes to HP, Fort, and BAB has been updated.
-Used Fighter Skill to modify Weapon Focus feat and added Bonus Feat for AC.


Point of Clarification: Lamatar is the missing Black Arrow captain. The one who wrote the love sonnets to 'Myriana'.

Jakardros is the second-in-command, Shalelu's father, and the one who led the patrol the night the ogres attacked.

Both were away when the Kreegs descended on Fort Rannick. You now suspect Kaven had something to do with that, most likely at Lucrecia's request.

I was under that impression. Kellen has no doubt that Kaven was their traitor; based on what happened - although I hadn't thought about the Lucrecia part. The missing part was what happened to Lamatar; and that's still a mystery. Although Kellen is probably thinking "dead-man" at this point.

Just for clarification purposes, paladin's are immune to shaken, correct? Because I believe it's a lesser form of fear. But don't quote me on that.

Mainly I ask because Praxim rolled a save but initially I didn't think he had to. Of course, I could easily be wrong. That tends to happen a lot with me. :P

Edit: This is completely based off the fact Praxim doesn't have some type of archetype ability that replaces his immunity to fear. If that's the case then just ignore everything I wrote above. :P

Aura of courage is replaced with shared precision.

Driving this part forward a bit now. There's some good encounter scenes here as you approach the middle of Whitewillow, and I don't want to leave them out, but I don't want this to be too overwhelming or boring in this format.

Man I'm glad you remembered as well, Tomaru. Because I don't remember either of those items AT ALL. Nothing. Nada. Zero. I got nothing. It's pretty shameful actually.

Heck, like I mentioned a while back, I read this whole AP when it first came out and vaguely remember that picture OG put up for us but that's it. No idea who she is/was and don't remember Whitewillow or the fey named "Yap" either.

I ran in Second Darkness in RL several years ago and remember a ghost in that one pretty clearly but I believe I'm getting the two confused. I keep thinking to myself: "Isn't this dead guy we're looking for washed up near the shore off a cliff?" If any of you have played SD I believe that's fairly accurate. Because that's what's stuck in my mind. And so very little sticks there unfortunately. :P

It was awhile back, but keep in mind that after selling all the stuff and collecting stuff from the trips into fort and lairs, we have more than that.

There's still some gear left over from the dam encounter - especially the gloves and the nasty fork/trident - that we could put up for sale for the next go around.

So, to answer your question - I'm not sure what a Hammer of Thunderbolts costs, but you have way more than 29 gold to work with.

Not sure what would help on Magic Items, unless you can craft +2 or better short sword, maybe?

That Phylactery NEEDS to go to Tomaru. That's a cool item. Dangit. I just checked. He's got a headband of wisdom. Man that's pretty handy though. +2d6 bonus to channel.

No one took the gloves of swimming and climbing? Heck, I'll take 'em if no one wants them. ORRRRR, we could sell them and get 3000g for them. That's tempting.

You have more than one +1 ogre hook. Thordak took one, but you should have a total of 5 more , PLUS the +1 human-bane ogre hook from Jaargrath. You know, the one that nearly killed Tomaru. I just went back and rechecked the numbers of ogre fighters.

The trident is a +1 vicious adamantine trident.

EDIT: Just saw that Thordak has the human-bane hook, so you have 6 +1 ogre hooks.

You talking about the Ogre hooks? Sounds good to me. Matter of fact, might as well sell the Human bane one also.

1 +1 ogre hook(human bane): 8,348

Total: 20,088 divided by 2 = 10,044 gold. About 1600 gold each.

@OG: The trident is a medium weapon, right? I can't remember if scrags are medium or large creatures.

If the trident's large, I'm tempted to use it. Otherwise, I say we sell it also.

I'd like to keep one of the +1 ogre hooks if the trident is medium sized. Just to have an up close magical melee weapon.

But I say we go ahead and sell the human bane one. Of course, as soon as we do that, there'll be a bunch of bad guy humans marching in by the dozens. That's how it always works you know. :P

And this is all based on the fact that if we can actually sell all this stuff of course.
