Guys, I apologize greatly for inconsistent posting. Work has become very busy and getting the kids through school is turning out to take a large amount of time. I prefer a regular pace, and a semi-quick one, but it has become difficult as of late.
One thing I will guarantee: If I can no longer do this, I will let everyone know. I will NOT just disappear. If it ever goes to 3+ days without hearing from me, send me a PM.
I am posting this statement to all my games, so I apologize to some of you who may have to hear it more than once.

Just to let you all know, ever since I downloaded Windows 10 I've had nothing but grief. It works, it doesn't, it works again, and now I can't do anything on my computer. I freaking HATE Windows 10.
Anyway, until I can get this resolved my posting is gonna take a hit. Can't really say how often or how little I'll be able to post but hopefully it won't be too much of an issue.
Gonna wipe the hard drive and see if that helps. Oh what fun.

Good news is, my computer works again. Bad news is, where I once use to have about 30 or 40 icons on my computer, I now have only 1.

This whole incident just reaffirms my thinking of sticking to Windows 7 for now - its been pretty bullet-proof for me.

I hope, I really hope, that you guys enjoyed that scene as much as I did. That is one of my all-time favorite scenes in an AP. I thought you all played it wonderfully. And I don't use "wonderfully" all that often. So everyone else is aware, Kellen's actions were discussed between him and I while the scene was ongoing. Specifically, I asked him if he was sure he was going to enter the circle to check the ashes. Just so you know I didn't try to railroad that result.
I have my suspicions some or all of you have played this AP before, so I am trying to make it as fresh as I can.

I do have to say, while all of you are roleplaying your characters really well, Thordak is killing me right now with the confused dwarf thing. Never let it be said that there isn't anything for the dwarf barbarian to do (or say) during the 'talky' bits.
Heard bit's and pieces, but never played. In fact, it's one of the reason I wanted to play is because I have heard of lot of interesting stories about the AP.
You are spot on about Thordak, Javell does an awesome job of it. It's a great combination of short-fused barbarian and crazy prospector/miner going on there.

I did play that scene before, so I was trying really hard not to give anything away. When I did it last time, it was as a wizard who had no compunctions casting a summon monster spell to dump a lemure into the other circle and then boast to everybody he saw for quite awhile how he had personally slain a pit fiend with a single 2nd-level spell.
I couldn't do that.
I can't summon evil creatures due to alignment strictures. ;) I'd need planar binding.

When this AP came out, I actually read the entirety of it. I had always pondered running it but realized I just don't have the time. But, my memory is so terrible, I barely remember squat. I don't remember this at all. I don't remember the water trolls at all. I'm pretty positive there's gonna be a lot of other things that I don't remember. :P But I do remember the ogres. Especially the really fat, Jabba the Hutt Ogre lady. Hard to forget something like that... unfortunately. :P
I was in one Runelord pbp that started from the beginning and died early on in Book 2. I'm in another one currently that has just started from the beginning. Typically, I don't really care to play in the same game again and again; but I was invited by another player that I've ran with before in a previous pbp and decided what the heck.
When I saw this one and saw that it was starting from Book 3, that's what had me sold on it. It's tough going through Book 1 again and again.
Not played this before... and I'm loving Thordak too....
