It's hard for me, so I apologize for that.
But I just went back through the last few posts and do you all realize that no one, not one of you, declared that they, or the group, was going to actually do anything.
You each talked about the importance of "doing things" and said, "we should do things"
But no one said "I do the thing" or "I lead the group toward the mountain."
so, you know, it's hard for me, and for that I apologize.
I am updating the thread to incorporate "stuff" that was suggested, probably could have been done without incident, and will move the group to the castle of the vampire lord.

Sounds very Canadian to me; no one wanting to inconvenience the other by sounding too pushy. I'll order some pizza, drink some of that fine brandy and see if I can drum up the nerve to coax one of the elves to take point. :)

The moronic dwarf raises his silver tankard, the scantly clad Thais side forward, in thanks to Cayden's blessings. Cheers!

I just came through two hard weeks. I like to think I'm an old, hard, seasoned guy that doesn't let anything bother me, but our family dog got a bad pressure sore two weeks ago and when I took her to the vet, the good doctor told us she wasn't going to live a whole lot longer. She turned 17 the first week of May. I've been caring for her three or four times a day for the past two weeks. Wednesday she finally stopped eating and drinking, and on Friday we decided it was time to say good bye. I bawled like a little boy all night last night. She was a good dog.
So I spent the day cleaning the garage, does anyone know how to get dog blood off concrete?
Got rid of her bed and blankets, cleaned the dishes and put them on the shelf.
It's time to try to get back to normal now.

That is hard work Terquem. It took me a while to get over our cat passing so I know what you feel. Cayden's blessings be with you!

Sorry, kids keep taking over the computer to pretend they're doing school work. Then if its not the kids, its the wife with a list, sigh. Why is isolation so busy?
You'll be fine Terquem. Some days will be good, others will hit like a tidal wave, but they pass. Hang in there!!

MuuuHaHaHaHaHa!!!! The dice! They dance and jiggle on their way to destiny!!
Hangin. How are you doing Terq? Getting enough sleep?
Niversal Two Blades |
Please excuse this moment but I will be losing a family member today and will be out for three days of mourning returning on Mon or Tues. Please bot me as necessary.
Ballar Fargrim |
Dang! Sincerest condolences Niversal. With things moving so quickly throughout the world, please don't feel rushed. Take what time you need and don't worry about us!

Sorry to hear of your loss Niversal and of your illness Terquem. Wishing you both comfort and recovery in your trying times.

Maybe we should all make daily Fort checks...
Fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Phew! Still alive.
Hang in there Terq! (Remember to take +2 for Aid other on your check :))

I am calling an end to this game - the summer has just been too much for me - three family members have now tested positive. I don't want to just keep everyone hanging. And, I have been away from Pathfinder for so long now that I am not sure I can even run the system anymore.
You have all been great. Thank you.
Terquem |
Just learned today that my wife's mother, who is 87, tested positive. My wife is not taking this well.
Thank you
edit, my wife's sisters, all but one of them, and her mother have been staunch Trump supporters and were convinced this was not serious from the beginning and now it is going through their families
It is a bit surreal here at home where we, my wife and I, are isolating from everyone. We are both close to 60 and this is taking all our mental energy.

I hope they all recover. This isn't something serious unless you happen to be over 65 or have certain health issues. Over 95% of people known to have this recover from it. Being isolated from the world is tough. Some people deal with it better than others. I'm quite happy to remain at home, my wife on the other hand has never liked to be at home. It is one of our areas of disagreement. Needless to say this hasn't been good for her mental health. Hang in there Terquem. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks for the game Terq! And to everyone as well.
I completely understand where you are coming from. I haven't had the drive for a while now either.
I wish you all, all the best and hope for the best possible outcome for your family members Terq.
See you guys around the boards!

You have my thoughts as well Terquem! Its truly been a memorable experience playing with you! I won't forget all the effort you've put into the game to keep things more than interesting!
Unfortunately COVID is difficult to avoid. My job puts me at risk everyday and some days the reality hits closer to home than others. The only deciding factor, IMO, is the people I meet. Some take the pandemic seriously, others not so much. Those in the later are the scary ones.
Fortunately, I haven't tested positive yet because most of the people in the area are keeping their distance, masking up and staying clean. The least I can do is repay them in kind.
Until things get back to normal, whatever that may turn out to be, Keep well and stay safe guys! It's been a lot of fun playing with you all!
