Shhh. Those screams are messing with my concentration. ;)

Bad trip? I'm interested in travel stories if you want to put your experience into writing. Might help you maybe even.

Getting the boots of elvenkind (2500)and crafting the wayfinder of vanishing(8000) put me way over from being under. I am at 31,654 out of 23500.
Must you take the wayfinder? Seems that if you do not, and say settle for some one use items totaling up to 3,000 gp you might be better off.
Ballar Fargrim
Darned TSA, no wonder you're stressed! On the bright side your passport doesn't hinder you from returning to the States (My passport gets me into the suspect line) and it sounds like you had a full schedule which means lots of memories!
Niversal Two Blades
Zae crafted the wayfinder giving me five one minute invisiblity uses per day. Pretty good. Temp use of a wand that is 2nd lv is spendy and potions sigh. If you insist I can change it.
Ballar Fargrim
Ballar sits eagerly with his popcorn by his desktop, awaiting the start of the previews.
Terquem
I'm technically ready. We haven't officially made any preparation purchases mind you.
What do you think would be the best way to handle that? Should we do it "in game" or just take care of it off line. How much spending money would be reasonable to get you all the "non-magical" items you think you need to proceed?
Ballar Fargrim
I think taking care of it off line will be fine. Bud and Keryth have more to make up to reach the suggested wealth by level level than the rest of the group and any explanation of where such and such an item came from will add (hopefully comically) to the play.
Ballar Fargrim
Ready!
Terquem
I've put up a post with some minor, but still important information - This is the Dungeon Minion talking to you as you leave the Great Studio to take care of all your last minute needs. I assume your characters will take a day or two, maybe three, to buy supplies, and then return to the Great Studio to travel to your destination. When you are all ready I will set the situation at the great Studio, before you travel through the mirror.
You will be able to travel back and forth between Alodoa (the world you are going to) and Riom (the world you are on) as often as you like, but remember that there are locals working, possibly staying, at the Inn (possible spies of the Baravkovian government?) and the more often you disappear for days at a time, the more likely you are to draw suspicion to your activities.
Once you are ready to go through the mirror there will be some last minute bits of information, and you will be able to ask question before you go, as well as gather information in the fishing village if you chose.
Keryth Tarathiel
I guess I'll just add a pearl of power (3rd) to bring me up to at least WBL.
No one seems to want to take the initiative in procuring additional magical supplies and Keryth obviously has no wealth to spend so off we go I guess. :P
Ballar Fargrim
There was only you and Bud who actually needed to do any shopping so sadly there is little motivation for the rest of us. On the bright side we haven't actually left so there is still time to whip up a side trip to Jeffry's Emporium. They are open late and Ballar does like to do price comparisons! What do you say Bud?
Keryth Tarathiel
I'm not referring to Keryth's personal wealth. That is a separate issue.
I'm talking about procuring group magical supplies specifically to deal with the mission at hand (ie fighting a vampire). Scrolls/potions/wands like the ones I mentioned in my previous post.
I had thought that our reward from It'Dupree would fund those items but there hasn't been any further mention of it.
Ballar Fargrim
Ballar offered to help make some scrolls, you said no. As for rewards, I was under the impression we were to bring everyone up to WBL which looks like that has been done. To my knowledge, there has not been any discussion (by this group) of a group treasury but since the idea has been floated:
Ballar has created holy water and purchased 14 vials for it. If you feel we need more, he can create more as long as the vials are available. Although I did not include this in any previous posts, Ballar's also purchased 5lbs of garlic (I'm thinking woodend stakes can be made from the forest) and scribed a scroll of Searing Light and Consecration to add to his other scrolls. I'm willing to role play this out if you like :)
Honesetly, I've just been shooting for the traditional Vampire Slayer Kit, but if there is anything else you can suggest let's make it happen.
Keryth Tarathiel
I didn't say no you shouldn't scribe any scrolls. You offered to make scrolls for Keryth. You cannot scribe arcane scrolls is what I said. Keryth can scribe his own scrolls but does not have access to the desired spells currently.
So if you want to scribe some scrolls, my suggestions were for Dispel Magic, Remove Curse and Magic Circle Against Evil. Other spells might also be handy like Lesser Restoration.
I was attempting to start a discussion about group treasury/items, but it did not get any traction and that's fine.
Maybe Keryth buys a wand of Magic Circle Against Evil instead of his new Pearl of Power?
Those of you that use weapons should definitely look at upgrading your weapons to magic AND silver if you want to overcome DR.
As for the holy water I'm not super encouraged by ranged touch attacks with 10' range increments that does on average 3 damage on a successful hit and/or 1 splash damage. :P
Also with regards to the holy water, are you aware that each vial you create costs you 25 gp (in material component of powdered silver) and requires a separate casting of a 1st level spell slot? Good aligned temples sell it at cost (25 gp).
Ballar Fargrim
I did but thanks for the reminder on damage :) Ballar already has a couple Lesser Restoration scrolls and Dispell Magic but it is time to reconsider the old Vampire kit and perhaps scribe a couple more scrolls. Ballar doesn't have the coin to silver his weapons but his Dorn is magical so that's not a complete loss. However, if it doesn't break the game, he can sell a couple scrolls (Diagnose Disease & Remove Paralysis - 125gp total) to scrounge up the 180gp needed to silver his axe...sound good?
Zaehyra Sillaesa
What can I do to support the initiation of the party treasure? Zaehyra is pretty much a support mage with a power animal so anything I can donate or do for the party Im in.
Terquem
Okay, I'll try to get the game going
You know, I have a decidedly different GM style. I'm not meaning to complain, but when I put up a post like the one I just did and it
Generates no questions
Generates no discussion
Generates no comments
It sort of makes me think I am absolutely doing this wrong. Unless, it is just taking a bit of time for each of you to decide how to respond to the scene.
If everyone is ready to proceed, I'll do another post to try and move the party toward crossing the mirror back into the world of Alodoa
Niversal Two Blades
I apologize for no comments or posts but ai have been down due to emergency surgery due to my gallbladder trying to kill me. A few days of recovery and I will be back.
Ballar Fargrim
Sorry about that Terq, but Ballar was left in a trance. I don't know if he is capable of commenting.
Sounds like the gallbladder lost...it should watch its back around thieves :)

Level 40 NPC is a castle tour guide. The life of these minions is on another level.
Zaehyra Sillaesa
Time for a vacation, I will not likely be able to access a computer for the next 10 days, please NPC Zaehyra as necessary.
Ballar Fargrim
Ok, I'm back! Sorry about that absence guys, did I miss much?
Ballar Fargrim
Knowing how you like to have us interact, a quick narrative getting us up to her for questions sounds fine.
Terquem
I'm sorry I disappeared on everyone. Real life issues and I did not want to come in here in the thick of it and start sounding like I was complaining.
Right now everything is settled or settling down and I am ready to try to get going again, if everyone hasn't lost patience for the last time.
I'll be posting some things this weekend.
Thank you
Ballar Fargrim
Ballar's noticed the uniqueness but I hesitate to make much out of it less we get sidetracked. We are supposed to be heading out asap to free It'Dupree's friends, so I'm not sure how the elephant in the room comes into play. Does it hold some key to solving the mystery of the lich? Perhaps I'll have him check....
