GM Z..D.. |
Welcome all. This is the core table of In Wrath's Shadow.
When ever you get a chance, make sure to fill out this Survey. It helps when completing the chronicles.
Also make sure to have your initiative and perception modifiers in the status line.
This is also the place to tell me any quirks your character has or anything that I may have to add modifiers or make secret rolls for you.
Last but not least, lets have fun.
GM Z..D.. |
Its looking high tier, but will not know for sure until everyone checks in.
Kavor Doan |
Checking in!
Kavor Doan is pretty straightforward. Only unusual modifiers for secret rolls would be Stonecunning.
Gwendolyn the Strange -CORE- |
I'm going to guess eventually eldritch knight after 3 more levels of transmuter. I have a couple of characters that are built to do that. One of them (1 XP to go!) started out as an old school elf character (in old D&D, elf was a race and a class that combined the best bits of magic-users and fighters), the other was an experiment to make a big, strong, badass wizard who could wield a greataxe. Right now Kavor seems to be somewhere between the two. Regardless of where he goes in the future, I am always a fan of the path(finder) less traveled.
So Stormy, gardener or groomer? Or is there too much Shelyn in that game?
Kavor Doan |
Eldritch Knight! Always wanted to play one.
Heavy armor, wands and V-only spells, maybe Still Spell at higher level.
If a PFS party is lacking a wizard, he can skip the armor and sling spells. But he'll prefer to mix it up in melee with Step Up and arcane bonded axe.

Totally ninja'd ya! That reminds me of my third could be (but probably won't) eldritch knight--my evoker/gunslinger (musket master) with a--you guessed it--arcane bonded musket! How cheap is that?
Iago Dalamitrin |
Hello everyone! Iago checking in! I just need to warn you that I will be travelling all of today and tomorrow. I will be back in front of a computer and able to post consistently on the 4th, possibly the 5th if things go exceptionally poorly.
Iago believes himself to be a ladies man, whether or not that is a reality is not for me to say.
Iago also purchased an adamantine greatsword, and hopes to stay alive long enough to turn it into a magical adamantine greatsword.
Also, your survey didn't have an option for Scarab Sages.
Stormy Weathers |
I see the following levels;
Doodle - 6th Sorcerer 5/Silver Draconic Disciple 1
Stormy - 3rd druid
Kavor - 3rd Fighter 1/Transmuter 2
Gwendolyn - 4th Sorcerer (arcane bloodline) 4
Iago - 4th Fighter
Ilmakis - ?
So:
if Ilmakis chooses 3 we are 3.8 apl
if Ilmakis chooses 5 we are 4.16 apl
if Ilmakis chooses 6 we are 4.33 apl
I have forgotten how to calculate tier but I think you still add 1 for a full table. Even so, unless you always round up we can choose high or low. I'd prefer low as at best we will have two characters of high tier and no level sevens.
Ilmakis, are all 4 of your characters core (that is both unusual and pretty cool!)? With three of our 6 arcane already I'd say we do not need your sorcerer. My druid is not a good combat healer but then I guess neither is your cleric. :) I think the ranger or bard would add the most versatility.
Kavor Doan |
A bard would be awesome.
The others would be good too, but in our local Core group I am often distressed at the lack of bards.
Darksid'Ious |
Player Name: Florent/Ilmakis
Character Name: Darksd'Ious
Class and Levels: Bard 3
PFS#: 754-40
Faction: Dark Archive
Day Jobs: Perform (oratory): 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 13 + 1 = 15
For information I have my Pin's faction :)

Gameplay is open. Please make final touches and selection of characters.
Please follow the core link under my name and place tokens and preference in marching order.
Doodlevain "Doodle" Montafescue |
Could someone please copy my image and place it on the DM’s slide, please?
I’m fine with anywhere in the marching order. Maybe I should even be up front with my decent Perception skill? If I have Mage Armor up, my AC isn’t bad...
Kavor Doan |
Kavor Doan doesn't really need to be last -- he's AC 24 with Shield up, and a melee fighter. So if anybody wants to switch with him, that's fine.
Gwendolyn the Strange -CORE- |
Gwen's more of middle of the pack girl, but if necessary, baby's got back. In large, open-air areas Hera often flies recon.
Doodlevain "Doodle" Montafescue |
Maybe Kavor should take my spot then. 24 AC is pretty spiffy. If you’d like to switch, go ahead and switch us on the sheet. I don’t want to do that without your okay first.
Iago Dalamitrin |
It's only been a couple days. Lets keep waiting.
GM Z..D.. |
I know...I was joking.
The goal was just to get this completed before outpost. Which starts before March 5th.
GM Z..D.. |
Please roll day jobs and complete Faction Journal Cards check offs. I will be working on chronicles tomorrow. Thanks for you patience and playing along.
Iago Dalamitrin |
Iago has no day job, but he is a Scarab Sage, and this is a 1000 year old + ruin is it not?

Sure is
Gwendolyn the Strange -CORE- |
Have a number of ranks equal to your character level (minimum 4) in one of the following skills: Bluff, Knowledge (arcana), Profession (archivist, librarian, or scribe), Spellcraft, or Use Magic Device.
Gwen has 4 ranks in spellcraft.
Darksid'Ious |
Recruit a named NPC scholar, knowledgeable spellcaster, or similar gure to the Dark Archive. Recruitment requires a Diplomacy or Knowledge (arcana) check with a DC equal to 15 plus your character level.
Thanks for the adventure GM, it was quite entertaining! Thank to you all for making this game even greater :)
Kavor Doan |
Gain access to a unique or variant item during the course of an adventure whose rules are printed on your Chronicle sheet.
Think this one will apply.
Day Job - Profession (Merchant): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9Aww... Folio reroll!
Day Job - Profession (Merchant): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Better, but even so he always earns at least 25 gp due to having two goals checked on the Faction Card.
Thanks for running!
Stormy Weathers |
Good run. Not as hard as I thought it might have been Harpies were annoying. :)
Day Job, Profession (sailor): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Day Job, Reroll: 1d20 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 3 = 26
Darksid'Ious |
@GM you forgot my DJob roll here :)
Just 10 gold, but could be handy :P
Gwendolyn the Strange -CORE- |
Game will be recorded shortley.
Let me know if there are any changes I need to make.
Gwen's Fame and Prestige Points look to be swapped for one another.
Thought the day job was a survey thing.... Seems weird to put a 'survey' (depending on what it covers) first. I... think... I filled it out.
If as apparently not, Profession (librarian): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Were you putting notes on the Chronicles as to what faction card shenanigans we were up to? If so mine is missing. If not the chronicle sheet has a nice clean look to it. Classic. 8/10 ;)
GM Z..D.. |
Yeah, I did the same thing on all of them then. I always see it as prestige being on the left and the fame on the right.
As for the day job, I usually hold off until the end, in case people would like to use a reroll on that if they still have it.
The journal cards, I thought, were based on honor system since there is no place to sign them on the JFC to begin with. I can add a line to the chronicle if you like though.
I will update it shortley, check back in 30 if you can.
As for the survey. It is my first time doing one, and it will be getting a face lift. I was debating if it was better doing it later on or first thing to be done. I think next time, I will wait until the end of the game.

*koff* Prestige should be 19.

Gotcha, I had just been long enough that I couldn't remember what I had filled out.

No worries. It just sounded like you might. I'm good either way. I haven't really used them that much before this. It's like the PF Society likes hiding their online materials in places that no ever looks, are hard to navigate, or are so hard to find no even tries. Has anyone ever tried looking for the icon character's stats on the Paizo site?

It was mostly that I couldn't remember and didn't have the time to check. Most of the surveys I take are the "Well how did it go?" sort of surveys (which, by the way, was "awesome". Thank you). Usually, I put all the name/chronicle stuff in my first discussion thread post. I understand the whole GM reroll thing though.
Thanks again.
GM Z..D.. |
OK Gwen, I finally found what I missed. If you want, I have updated again.
