PFS rebuilding question:

I just discovered that the core of my character concept is unattainable. I was making some compromises here at first level to support development down the road that doesn't apply now. I think my entire concept is now going to change. I can still rebuild after this scenario (any time before 2nd level). If I rebuild in such a way that an item I bought (darkwood longbow) no longer makes sense, can I sell that back at full price to recover the money spent, or would that sale be half price (since it was bought on a chronicle sheet, and not as part of the original 150gp)?

I have scanned the guide multiple times. It does say you can rebuild your character before you hit second levels for no cost. Once you hit second level you have to use the retraining rules based on the ultimate campaign plus spending one prestige point per day of training. It does not say anywhere that you get to sell your items at full price, that is, unless of course I missed something. Which may happen. So I would say, you sell it for half price, or just keep the long bow. It is always good to have a decent ranged weapon for back up.

It is a good weapon, and one that I'd likely want in the long run anyway, so I think I'll do that. I was just making sure that I understood my options.

Mūn would definitely love that ring (and may buy it afterwards), but Gealdn probably needs it the most during this scenario. I'm all in favor of making sure that the earthbreaker doesn't go down.

Just need to get that breaker to roll higher :P But yes, you can do pretty dang well in combat by having a buffed up melee guy.

I think the ring would be better usædvanligt on a healer....

Vacation warning

Fwiw, Mūn is not booked into any GameDay games, so he would be available to continue on into Consortium Compact if you choose not to wait until after GameDay.

I concur with Mun. I had a great time with my first PbP games. Thanks for posting frequently, it really helps keep things moving and keep people in the game. Mr Peppers is also not booked for anything at Gameday and will be itching to further his arcane knowledge at the earliest convenience.
