As my part of helping welcome all the people who came to Paizo's website due to the Humble Bundle, I'm considering running the Black Fang adventure that comes in the beginner box for 4-6 interested players who are brand new to Pathfinder, perhaps even brand new to tabletop RPGs. Let me know in this thread if you're interested in playing, and if you would want to play one of the pregens or to make your new character.
(Please don't read the adventure in the GM book before we play!)
Hello! I found you on the welcome thread. I'm a complete newbie to tabletop RPGs, but if you're willing to help me through I would love to play. I was thinking I would try a pregen since I am so new... I have a lot of reading to catch up on. Thank you so much for being so welcoming!
We will be using the beginner box rules, not the core rulebook for this adventure, so the only reading I would suggest you do before we start is the Hero Handbook from the Beginner Box. It would also be good to work through the single player adventure that is in the Hero Handbook just to give you an idea of how combat works.

I might be interested in this campaign, but I've never played an RPG over the net before. So I'm not sure what I would need to do or what software I would need to use to make it happen.
I've never played pathfinder before, and I'm relatively newer to RPGs; but I would be very interested.
I am interested, but I am also pretty new to "tabletop". I would prefer making a new character as that is a large part of the fun for me. What time frame/medium were you planning on using?

I would definitely be interested in doing this with you! I have never played a tabletop RPG and would love to have someone to help guide me through the first steps! Would this be an online run-through? Also, thank you so much for being so welcoming to all of us newcomers! I've never seen such a welcoming community for any game before and it makes me so excited that I did in fact buy this bundle! As soon as I can download them, I'll be sure to read the hero guidebook and go through the beginning adventure in the beginner box.
I would like to make my own character (although I'll probably use a pregen for the beginning adventure in the book so that I can become a little more familiar with the rules before I go creating a character haha) Would you be willing to give some pointers on character creation?
We will play right here on Paizo's forums. We will use a map that is on Google slides, where you will just move your token to where you want to go. It's OK if this doesn't make sense right now, I'll walk you through everything. All you need is your web browser, and your login to Paizo's website. Games here tend to go very slowly, but I think that's actually a plus for a new player, it gives you time to think and time to look things up.

Hello there, I am in a similar position to the others above, I have no experience of tabletop RPGs but have been interested for a while with no idea where to begin. The humble bundle provided the perfect shove in the right direction. I would love to join your game if you'll have me.
I've had a read through the Hero's handbook and would like to give creating my own character a go.
OK, that looks like 5 players, which is a good size. The next step is that I need you to all post in the gameplay and discussion threads for our campaign. You should find those just above my first post at the top of this thread. I'll give you directions about what to do next in the discussion thread after you post.
We will be making your characters in the discussion thread. Come on over there to do that. If any of you prefer a pregen, that is fine, just tell me over there.

Yep, there's room for one more. If any more people post for interest, I may have to split the group into two. I'm not sure if I'd run both, or try to find another GM for some of you.
I might be interested. What is the time commitment? And when?
MCCL, the time commitment is just a few minutes a day almost every day once we get started. Character building takes a lot more time, though.
I have a full group for right now, but if anyone drops out, I will certainly take you, and if others also express interest, I will split my group and help you guys find another GM for the other group.

I have played D&D 3.5 a bit, 4e a decent amount and 5e once. I have also played Shadowrun, Star Wars Saga edition, Gamma World and Dark heresy. I have not played Pathfinder before and so I would love to start off with a group of players in the same boat (usually I just jump into the deep end with a new system). I have only been playing tabletops for a few years and I have been in a few failed PBP games. So I have some experience, but still a newb.

I'd be interested as well, depending on the timing. I really can't play til after 8:30 on weekdays and probably not every day. I understand if that doesn't work, I wouldn't want to make the game a slog for everyone else that's playing.
I've never played a tabletop before though I've been interested for years.

I just got into Pathfinder when the humble bundle was released. I've been playing TTRPGs for about 15 years but I grew up in an exclusively White Wolf household lol The transition to Pathfinder has been difficult for me because it's like learning a new language, but I really want to DM a campaign for some friends so I need experience! I would love to be a part of this if you are still considering running it a second time!
I'm willing to play just about any class the group needs, I'm really just in it to familiarize myself with the system and have a good time.
