Just got my PDF. Ask away!

Can you share how awakened animals work, especially how they can hold/manipulate objects? Do they get hands?

Why are you luckier than me?! Lol.

Seriously though, gimme as much info about Wild Mimic archetype as you are comfortable with.

Their standard abilities include "Awakened Form" (listed in the sidebar along with ability boosts and low-light vision) which allow them to walk bipedally and "hold, wield, and use items." It says "for the rules you function like a humanoid with two hands."

Can I recreate Redwall/Gwelf with Howl of the Wild? Go! :p

Are there any new dinosaurs that are based on real animals?

They get access to Monk animal style feats (Crane, Gorilla, Wolf, Tiger). have special Lore to allow them to RK on any creature, only increases to expert if Legendary in Nature.

New feats give access to some monster abilities: Rend, Trample, etc.

I don't know who that is.

Troodon (level 1), Protoceratops (level 2), Majungasaurus (6), Carnotaurus (7), Therizinosaurus (9), Titanosour (16).

Thruneosaurus Rex (level 17) is not based on a real animal.

Oh HELL YES

Do you mind sharing a list of the archetypes if possible?

Oh HELL YES

I believe the correct response to seeing that is "Hell NO!" but YMMV.

Sweet Thanks! Do you mind maybe giving a general vibe of what Ostili Host and Thlipit Contestant are about? (I presume the host one is the magical symbiote but have no clue what that actually means lol)

What are these ?

I am also quite curious how they handled the Large PCs, I’m assuming they have a sidebar like the tiny PCs did?

Ostilli Host- you get a symbiote that allow you to have new magic abilities. Spit magic (1d6 piercing, +1d6 lvl 6, 10, 14, 18). Cloaking Pulse (become hidden) Spell Swallowing (reaction, counteract spell).

Thlipit- Prereq: prehensile tail or tongue or similar. appendage gets 1d4 damage, grab and reach. Feats give you more tonguing options.

four paragraphs about it. difficult terrain in 5ft wide, squeezing otherwise.

Awesome, thanks! I assume that means that they aren’t just making them enlarged and giving clumsy like other enlarging options?

fun feats for companion. creature adjacent to AC hits you, they get frightened 1. 1d4 precision damage for agile/finesse attacks. Pack Movement (2 actions) both stride and strike.

In your scholarly opinion, would an animal barb benefit from taking the were creature archetype or is it better left for other classes to catch some of that vibe?

How much are you willing to reveal about awakened animal?

I haven't read the werecreature archetype yet. I couldn't say. there are a bunch of new feats for barbarians/druids with the animal totem/untamed order.

Are there any earth-trait beasties, or new dragons? Also, any new heritages for pre-existing ancestries?

Cloud1802 wrote:

You pick size tiny through large. Heritages give your swim/climb speeds or 30 ft speed and 1 unarmed attack. the feats aren't super exciting.

Do the Ancestries have only two boosts or do any of them have 3 Boosts and a Flaw?

If you are comfortable revealing it what's the two skills you get from the Surki's ancestry lore feat?

I would love to hear more about untamed order. I always thought that one could use a little more love.

WARDEN OF CAVERNS AND BURROWS CREATURE 22 (unique giant cricket)

Storm Snake is a dragon; level 5, flying snake with electricity damage,

Only heritages are for new ancestries in book

They're all 3/1 except the Surki which is +Con/+Free.

Surki Lore- Survival and associated magic tradition skill.

Feats you can only use while under the affect of morph/polymorph effects .

if second strike hits, creature stupefied or persistent bleed. Creatures smaller than you after you transform are frightened.

List of new animal instincts- ankylosourus, ant, bat, bird, brontosourus, crab, crocodile, orca, scorpion, seal, spider, tyrannosaurus, wasp.

New Animal Form options- Crab, Crocodile, Orca, Seal.

The Minotaur level 17 feat is 1/day Quandary that requires a Survival roll to escape. There’s also a level 5 feat to grant reach to a 2 handed without it.

The Minotaur stuff I saw all sounded amazing.

Info about the 3 new Witch Patrons and the 4 Wardens?

I don't think animal instinct is a good idea for Werecreature since the animal instinct only grants benefits to the instinct provided attack. Another instinct may work better, like elemental or fury. Only issue for them would be that change shape has the concentrate trait (can't do while raging).

I heard someone else say they did some really cool stuff with chimeras. Can you elaborate on that?

I'm interested in claw dancer. I was personally hoping for something like double slice with claws, I'm also curious how much it leans into the "dancer" part of the name.

So far Amphisbaena handwraps Level 5. Fist gains Versatile P.

2 action, 1/hour, two Strikes adding 1d6 poison damage, no MAP until complete.

Any Infos on playing Merfolk in a mostly landbased Campaign? How does Shoregift or the Wheelchair work?

Relevant to the previous post-
I would love to hear as much Merfolk heritage/feat info as you're up for giving :)

What does the winged warrior architype actually do? Do you need wings? does it give you wings?

Do we have more information about lands outside the Inner Sea such as Droon or Iblydos? Also, do we have more information about The Wardens of the Wild?

Palodios wrote:

Spuramarine chair and Land-Deweller's chair function as Wheelchairs and adventurer's chairs respectively.

Shore Gift is a level 9 feat that lets you have legs.

Pronate11 wrote:

Winged Warrior as a prerequisite of having permanent wings.

Kavlor wrote:

Minimal, mostly just tangential references.

4 wardens, Caverns and Burrows, Forests and Meadows, Oceans and Rivers, Peaks and Skies. They are earth, wood, water, and air beasts, respectively.

Aparently Athamaru have a large option? While I’m at it I’m interested in what all their heritages are?
