The temptation to speculate wildly on axis content is strong.

... huh... You know, that might be the Jotunblood* home plane come to think of it, which might lend a little credence to that theory.

*Per the polygon article, they're guardians and custodians from another plane, which is a good fit for Axis.

If it wasn't for the mention of large glowworms, which don't feel very axis to me, I'd be 100% with you, but I could be wrong.

It's been said somewhere (I can't find it now!) that we're about to enter a "multi-year" metaplot event called the Hellfire Crisis with Battlecry, Hellbreakers, Operation Hellmouth, and the next PFS season, so it seems like safe money to finally bet on that Lost Omens book on Hellknights... and maybe an Old Cheliax guide.

I suspect next year won't be Arcadia's, either, and that's a bit of a bummer to me.

This is a bit of a stretch but... Last year we got Death, this year we have War, should we be expecting Plague and Famine in 2026 and 2027 respectively?

This also makes for some fun conspiracy crafting!

I have an Impossible Magics theory.

In Monster Core 2 I noticed that some of the monsters from Book of the Dead showed up in Monster Core 2. So then I took a closer look at Book of the Dead and realized there was quite a bit in there that was using OGL material, which is the same problem that Secrets of Magic has.

What if the Remaster version of Secrets of Magic and Book of the Dead are actually combined into Impossible Magic with themes around Nex/Geb.

I would be super excited if that happens. Although, I have one request for Paizo, can we please rename the Flexible Caster Archetype, maybe call it Adept.

That's the most likely theory I've been imagining, too; the only problem I see is that between the two new classes, remastering magus and summoner, bringing over SOME secrets of magic material, and bringing over SOME book of the dead material, there's not a lot room for brand new Nex/Geb stuff. If there was, it would be a hefty, expensive tome.

We'll get you that arcadia book one day. I'm currently attempting hypnosis on paizo staff but it doesn't seem to work

With the new product announcements it got me thinking again about the various books being building blocks towards future projects. Well, a High Seas book is very exciting but it wasn't on my radar, but in hindsight I am noticing things I had overlooked.

Age of Ashes did a lot to get Hermea sorted out
Prey for Death gave us a closer look at Mediogalti Island
New Thassilon claimed the southern half of the Ironbound Archipelago pulling it out of the High Seas region and into Saga Lands region
Draconic Codex was the last major building block giving us the replacement for gold dragons

These are some big stepping stones pushing us towards a High Seas book. So which of the five remaining Meta Regions do you all think is next?

Old Cheliax
Eye of Dread
Broken Lands
Golden Road
Saga Lands

My guess and speculations...

Old Cheliax - Currently Old Cheliax is just starting to go through a big shake up, so I would put it lower on the list. I would guess it to be the 3rd on the list for a setting book. I suspect things will need to settle a bit in the region, and we still need a Hellknight book.

Eye of Dread - This region had a big shake up seven-ish years ago. Since then we have gotten a Knights of Lastwall book, a Belkzen adventure path, a Gravelands adventures book and a series of Ustalav adventures are on the horizon. Also, an undead and/or horror themed year feels like a strong possibility once we finish our war themed year. Heck, the Necromancer Class will be coming out just as we are wrapping up our war themed year. This region is my #1 guess for the next setting book.

Broken Lands - This is my #2 guess. Rival Academies gave us an update on Sarkoris. Draconic Codex gives us the dragon themed tools we need for Brevoy. Starfinder 2E gives us tools we need for Numeria. Divine Mysteries gave us tools for Razmiran. Battlecry! gave us the Aldori tools for Brevoy. And we are getting an updated Summoner soon.

Golden Road - The Golden Road region is #5 on my list. While I am personally excited to see this region get the 2E treatment, I don't see the tools in place for this region. Also, I feel like this region will be our set up for a Casmaron World Guide.

Saga Lands - The Saga Lands region is #4 on my list. We just wrapped a New Thassilon adventure path. Shadows at Sundown and Seven Dooms for Sandpoint were recent adventures in Varisia. We had a Realm of the Mammoth Lords adventure path. We have been getting peeks at Stasian tech here and there. To be honest Saga Lands is my wildcard. I wouldn't have thought we needed mythic for Saga Lands, but in hindsight, yeah that makes a lot of sense. I feel like there is probably some additional piece we need for Saga Lands but I am not sure what. A fey book maybe?

Obviously any of the above might be interrupted with other major setting books such as; Arcadia, Darklands, Casmaron, Abyssal Oceans, Southern Garund, Planar realms, Crown of the World, Okiyo Islands, Solar System, etc.

Man.

Cheliax, plus my least-favorite bit of the setting (fae stuff) and two new classes I don't like the look of at all. We're in for another year of Pathfinder where I don't give a hoot at all.

Happy for the folks that like it, but it's been a minute since there was a book here that thrilled me.

That's okay! I really didn't care about Rusthenge, Revenge of the Runelords, Myth Speaker, or Shades of Blood!

And now I'm back and locked in for 2026. I hope we get hellknight lost omens at some point.

I will certainly go back to sleep when they start doing Arcadia content, and you will return.

Hellfire dispatches will have that:

Ten archetypes, including three freedom-loving Eagle Knight options, the law-bound Hellknight, Starstone aspirant, and more!

Very excited to be getting a trickster muse for Bard- that sort of thing is absolutely my jam (as most of the "What class do you still want?" threads will attest).

Where is this info coming from? Did the stream already happen?

Paizo put up new product pages last night for a ton of books; they have since taken a majority of them down. We're likely to see those pages back up after the streams tonight and on the 27th.

Ye, ended up deleting the post because I found the source, but so great to know. I'm hype for it. What time was tonight's stream again?

What happens on the 27th?

During their last Stream, Paizo announced there will be a stream today, and on the 27th, each to announce new things.

Today's stream was to announce stuff from the adventure and novel side of the fence. Friday's is for the rules and lore side. Be sure to check it out then!

Vaultlines AP will definitely star Sekmin ;-)
