I know many people have real life responsibilities that force them to rush home after Gen Con, but I wish everyone could just relax and wind down Sunday evening. Just visit with new/old friends, maybe play a casual game, or just have a good meal and enjoy company. Get a good night sleep and casually travel home on Monday. The convention is such a whirlwind of activity, people to see, games to run and play, and all the shiny to see, it just sucks that so many people have to add a sudden return trip before they've have a moment to catch their breath.

For those who noticed, yes the table colors changed this year. The convention center decided to switch from plastic table cloths to actual cloth. The good news is that means the area underneath the table may be cooler than it has been in the past since the plastic was known to hold in the heat.

The downside is that the colors changed. Gone are purple, orange, and yellow. We now have Black (BLK), [royal] Blue {BLU}, Burgundy (BUR), Chocolate (CHC), Green (GRN), Red and White (WHT).

The reason why chocolate is not being simply referred to as brown is because it could be easy confused with burgundy; too many similar letters. Green and red are on opposite sides of the room to reduce the impact of the most common occurrence of color blindness. We are hoping that all our table signs and projected reference material will be clearly marked both in color and with text to make the colors easily identifiable.

Sundays are for hitting the Dealer's Hall hard and driving home.

I much prefer getting home and then having that Monday to veg out than doing so at the con site and then having to look forward to a travel day. Far more relaxing (and cheaper) to do so.

Do we know what free books the GMs can get yet? With the "Lost Omens World Guide" being delayed a month, the options have been reduced. I'm sure a lot of us would like to pre-order from our local store what we can't get for free.

Do we know what free books the GMs can get yet? With the "Lost Omens World Guide" being delayed a month, the options have been reduced. I'm sure a lot of us would like to pre-order from our local store what we can't get for free.

I believe you needed to indicate your book preference when you filled out the survey. As far as 2e books, only the CRB was listed. I think.
