Hmm, Renkrodas sounds great to me.

Fantastic! I really look forward to finally meeting you HMM.

My one character has played Ashes but not much else; I will happily play a pregen or new character if that is what works for the group.

Final update on my two groups:

#9-00 Assault on Absalom (Tier 10-11) on Friday.

Gary Bush -(likely running L10 Ranger, Dwarf with a boar AC. Also have a L10 reach cleric. Not big on healing.)
Wallbanger - (likely running L11 Skald)
Melissa - (Likely running L10 Bloodrager)
John Lopez - (Likely running L11 Angelkin Paladin)
Eric B. Ives - (Likely running a barbarian, a wizard, or a cleric/archer)
Jeff Wharton - (likely running a L10 Archeologist Bard or a L11 Dwarf Fighter)

Possible GM: Landon Hatfield

It looks like the front line is solidly covered, so my barbarian is out. If Jeff plays his Archeologist we should have plenty of skills and arcane, so I'll play my cleric. If Jeff wants to play his fighter, I'll play my wizard so we have more knowledges. Either is fine by me.

Cool. So unless our 6th for 9-00 is another arcane caster, it looks like I should probably bring my wizard. It will be fun to to get the Skald's raging song on my augmented counterpoised ankylosaurus, and other summoned creatures.

Gary, with how bad our pre-mustered table was last year, I almost wonder if it's better to join a random group in the hallway :).

Anyway, this year I have three characters in range for tier 10-11 for 9-00: a barbarian, a wizard, or a cleric (archer).

(Edit: I already played 8-99 at PaizoCon, so I won't fit in a group that wants to stay together for both.)

lots of stuff..

I could of sworn that on the last show that Ryan invited you back to discuss this product when it finally published, as an interviewee, not a critic.

Anyway, regarding non-human support I want to see, I would humbly ask that the lowly Wayang be given some love. It is a PFS legal race, and as far as I can determine, there are only about five (redundant) paragraphs written about how they fit into Golarion, with the two take-away points being (1) they were from the shadow plane and now stay in the jungle because it is dark, and (2) they mostly worship the Rat Goddess Loa Shu Po because she helps them stay hidden.

It seems obvious to me that there should at least be some support for the Wayang-Rat connection, especially considering that Lao Shu Po has the Animal Domain. At a minimum, I think Wayang worshipers of Lao Shu Po should get access to the Riding Rats from the Monster Codex as companions or mounts. I know that Dire Rats are accessible in a number of ways, but they are really sad companions in comparison to almost everything else. (Personally, I've made a Wayang Animal Singer Bard for PFS to play up the connections, but since Wayangs make bad clerics, I was having trouble coming up with much else.)

Just to echo some of the praise given above, this is a really interesting book with a lot of potential to make the game better as a whole. I am really excited about Dirty Fighting, as it will decrease the need to dip into Lore Warden or Brawler as often, and will give melee builds with fewer feats, like Cavalier, a chance to do something besides hit.

The archetypes, while quite specific, are really flavorful and make me want to jump in and play the characters. As do the new race-specific options.

Now I'm looking forwards to hearing Alex's complete breakdown of it on the Know Direction Podcast.
