This may be considered a philosophical or scientific question for you. I don't care how you approach answering this question: does the Off-Topic Discussion Forum actually exist. Yes we can see "it", but we can not touch it, feel it, taste it, and smell it. Its like saying a hallucination is real.
Based on this criteria, I can not say that this forum exists. If you have another wrong opinion then feel free to share it. However, unless someone can provide me with concrete proof, then this forum and all of the posts on it do not exist. This includes my posts. Your thoughts?

I can at least see the forum. I can't see, touch, feel, taste, or smell any of you, I just see random text and pictures appear with names attached, and there's no proof whatsoever the cause of these names and text appearing are due to a real entity. Therefore I am certain none of you are actually real.
Except Freehold, because we met once and had breakfast together.
So addendum: you are only real if I have eaten breakfast with you.

Well we assume because there's no reason not to. Perhaps we could learn evidence in the future.
That said, we can never technically confidently prove anything. I have a similar confidence in the existence of the forum as I am that unicorns aren't real.

The concept of the OTF exists. It resides in all of our minds, as well as in the hard disks of the Paizo servers.
I do believe that Paizo exists, because I have used their products. HOWEVER, I never actually felt, touched, heard, and smelled the OTF thread, so clearly it does not exist.

When someone takes a stand in this world, they are called a troll. So be it. If challenging the existence of the OTF makes me a troll, then I gladly accept that moniker. The definition of existence is defined as "the fact or state of living or having objective reality." Its very clear to me that the OTF does not meet that criteria. Also, I do not know what you mean by the definition of the word? Are you referring to the Word of God?

No, a concept that does not exist, so you cannot see it. However, there are people born with a special sixth sense that allows them to sense things that don't exist like concept and the OTF.

Yes, because I say it exists. There are certain people in the world, like me, who can declare that something exists or doesn't exist. Therefore, since I say it exists you just have to believe me. However, since you are on the OTF you don't really exist, so it really doesn't matter what I just said...

By raising the tefelon to my nose, I can smell the off-topic forums.
By putting it in my mouth, I can taste it; the piquant flavour and aroma of beef shin-bone, Kosher Haribo and cactus make it far tastier than General Discussion, or Films & TV.
If I print it out, of course, I can prepare and season it however I wish without ruining the Precious.
