I personally think TK is transmutation because it's supposedly 'gravity manipulation,' but more realistically it's likely because they didn't know where else to put it.
As for who had the scrying sensor, I accidentally didn't clarify enough that it was Darivan who replied, commenting on what Selene mentioned over by him.

GM TWO |

Yeah, always attribute the first time, and on and off thereafter. That, and 'in the other room' - combined with the 'dozens of devourers' - definitely ... amplifies the issue, since the only devourers (the bipedal things) that Sylvia can see are the same now-six that Darivan can see with his own eyes. Only Selene can see more than that, and though she's implied there's more of them, she hasn't given numbers.

Darivan Orlovsky |

Yeah, my bad. Normally I try to have at least the first few attributed to the proper person, possibly with some description of how they communicated it, but it slipped my mind for some reason yesterday.
I wasn't sure what Sylvia would see, so I made guess that wasn't too harmful either way (lots of enemies, essentially) as my flavor. Sorry about that.

Mordred of Deepwood |

However, using coordinates means it's hard to track what happened in previous rounds.
E.g. 3 people attack the Devourer at Location XY, it and it's buddy then move. Figuring out which one is hurt for the next round is that much more work.
Especially if the two creatures A move closer to each other/together.
Suggestion for the Future: If you group them, you could color the letters or append a number.
That way, it can be A1/A2/A3, or green A, red A and blue A, and the tag remains attached to the creature making it easier to find relevant information from before.
And you can still use grouped rolls for all A's, all B's, etc.

Lessah |

Aye, agree with the above.
But I suppose - since we are pretty sure OOC that the ones on the right will engage cohorts and the ones on the left won't - that it will work out this time.
And since I don't think we'll have that many fight scenes where *everyone* is in the same place I guess it won't really matter for the future either.

Theodric Valtrava |

I'm definitely in favor of clearly numbering mass enemies as well.

Lyda |

I wait.

Theodric Valtrava |

Well, as it appears that nobody is going to take up Theodric's offer of visual obscurants this round, I think my actions are done with as well.

Velar Khion'Tal |

Mm I considered it but decided actually having a weapon might be more beneficial (and the logistics turned out to be a bother!).
Maybe some nearby NPCs though?

Theodric Valtrava |

I hope not. A hiatus this early into things is rarely a good sign, as players have little reason to remain interested or invested in the campaign. Particularly when active alternatives are somewhat readily available.

MordredofFairy |
Aye, it happens. Plus I learned myself that running a heavily modded campaign is a whole different beast.
I have all my notes, the original books, and some specific subplots on my home computer, where I have, theoretically, time to go through things, look them over, etc.
But that also means whenever I am travelling, have breaks in work, etc...I can't even update in many cases, because I'm afraid of getting something wrong that is relevant later, and am afraid of needing to retcon things.
That said, it's a whole different beast trying to write a GM post by itself...where as a player I can often write things "gung-go", blame it on their(characters) limited view of the situation, as a GM, I try to hold myself to other standards, and posting takes a different mindset.
I wanted to run 3 or 4 games, but I find myself trying hard to get back to a regular update schedule for the one I run. Curve Balls from Life in the past months did not help, but I am confident I will succeed in the near future. Still, I have a whole different kind of respect and patience for GM's after having learned how things are "behind" the screen in pbp.
(For reference, I have been GM'ing in RL for a LONG time. But especially things like deviating from paths, rolling with ideas that come up, and creating content ad-hoc is actually easier there, since everthing remains fresh in memory, and is normally resolved within a limited time frame. Plots on pbp can take a year or longer to be unveiled or play out...which means bookkeeping is necessary - and a way to subtle make players recall details of relevance without railroading them...)
Oh well, turned into a little rant...anyway, I do second the request for a little "I'm ok"-post, but otherwise, I have grown rather patient with my GM's.

Selene Lebeda |

I think we're all invested here. Let's try to be patient and let the DM come back. I doubt they're gone for good. It was probably just a busy week.

emphasis mine. exactly this.

Kaellin Greenleaf |

No worries! Take whatever time you need to make it feel right :)

Selene Lebeda |

Bugger. Not gelling tonight. Have much of tomorrow off, will try again. Sorry, all.
More than fair. We're waiting, but we're waiting because we want everyone happy with it. Good luck finding the words.

Lyda |

So...

Theodric Valtrava |

Yep.

Velar Khion'Tal |

I concur.

Mordred of Deepwood |

Or force them to do slave labor for the military industrial complex.
We can force them to mass-produce cutting edge weaponry and sell them to the highest bidders across the globe, just to pay their bills.
We took management courses at Foxconn...

Kaellin Greenleaf |

Just a heads up: I'll be on vacation and traveling for the next 10 or so days. I'm unlikely to have time to post or have internet connection, so if I'm quiet, that's why. GM, feel free to use my characters to move the campaign along.

Nimue of Deepwood |

With closing in on a month without gameplay update(18.April), and another 9 days since last discussion life sign(3.May) I do admit I am growing concerned.
There's real life causing all sorts of problems. I should know.
But during such times, slowdowns, I feel it's important to understand what IS going on, keep in touch.
In other words, I would request, on behalf of all the players, that you at least write a 1-3 line update every couple days, letting us know that you are still there, whats the holdup, and when you think things will get better.
I much prefer it if you correct that estimate 3 times and post 2 weeks later that you first assumed, over not knowing anything at all.
It only takes a minute or two to write a short statement. If you feel that is not conveniently possible, fine as well, do it once and tell us when to expect to hear back from you.
Could you do that for us, Mister GM?

Selene Lebeda |

I AM HERE
O, you meant the GM, whoops
Pretty much.
I think we're all attached to the game, so worst case we have to find a second gm to pinch hit while Wyrm recovers from real life. We could call him GM One.

Darivan Orlovsky |

Really, though. So much of this was changed from the base, I don't think there's anybody that might be able to fill in. All we really "know" is that we'll be facing a devourer soon and going mythic.

Theodric Valtrava |

Well, I'm pretty sure that the number of players won't be an issue if this campaign ever restarts. If there haven't been a few dropouts by now over this, I'll be very surprised indeed.
I can understand being busy with life and all, but what excuse is there for not finding 5 minutes to use your phone while you're taking a shit or waiting in line, and dropping a quick message? Otherwise, you just leave people thinking you've run the f*&~ over or something.
