Just to save time and hassle I'm putting character generation info out. Then,if I have enough interested I will then create or flip this thread to an IC thread, and make decisions then.
============================================
Wrath of The Righteous is an adventure path where playing characters, imbued with holy mythic power, march into the Worldwound spanking demons along the way. It's a fun adventure, one that I am running for my table-top group. And, it does favor lawful good paladins heavily. It also has a lot of NPCs that will either betray you or become a strange ally. It very important to learn about who you are traveling with because your NPCs' lives just might depend on it.
I am looking for four players who care about their characters and wish to add their story to the adventure.
Read the Player's Guide! Also, keep it on hand. There's history and information there you will need for at least the first module mainly.
Please use the background generator in Ultimate Campaign. It could be fun! Or, you can do the ten-minute background, but that's more than what is needed.
Starting Level: 1
1-3 sentences describing why your PCs are in Kenabres, and their motivation for being there. I am partial to the idea of a female darkborne half-elf playing under the rules for redemption. Her goal is to heal her soul by healing Golarion while ridding the world of the Worldwound.
15 point buy (it's enough.)
3 or 4 Traits: Campaign, Combat, Social, and Faith (which is optional).
Average finances. This adventure, like 'The Dude', does abide.
Races allowed: Core, tiefling, aasimar, and darkborn(drow half-elves).
Starting Classes: Core, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Magic, and the APG
Alignment: Good! However, read the player's guide. In it are rules for redemption which might be something to consider.
Pick 3 Loyalties.(Pathfinder Unchained) This might be strange to have alignments with loyalties, and I can agree. It's just that having three loyalties can flesh out a character more. It helps provide notes to the GM and the player what matters to that character. it
I recommend getting some skills in soldiering.
Medium Experience points track.
Stamina point pool feats are allowed just not at character generation. They'll be a bit overkill, but why not, right?
Atheism is a faith. Personally, I find it boring but it counts. The gods don't judge. The primary gods are Torag, Iomedae, Desna and Saranae.
You might be familiar with the quote above the gates of Hell, “Abandon all hope ye who enters here”. During combat, this is how the demons will behave; trying their damned best trying to demoralize NPCs and PCs. To illustrate this try imagining how sharks behave once they smell blood. An injured character might just find himself suddenly overwhelmed.
Aside from attacking to lower HP, my goals are more interested in hurting resources. If I can damage your equipment and potions, I will. Let's hope that the alchemists are not too flammable.
During leveling when it is time to roll HP, we'll use the rule of average! Meaning, if you don't roll better than the average on your die roll, then you take the average of the die you are rolling. This is how it works. Let's say I have a fighter and I roll 1d10 for my HP, and I get a 2 on my roll. The average of a ten-sided die is half + 1, or 6. Half of 10 is 5. Add 1, and you'll get 6! I am so glad I listened to my first-grade teacher. Anyway, instead of taking a 2 I take the 6. Now, if I roll a seven or higher then that is what I would keep.
And before I need to ask this tremendous favor. I'm not the brightest bulb out there, so what I will need is for an OOC posting under your IC one. This post is to give me a synopsis of what your character is doing and any other information that's needed to make the game flow faster and more smoothly. So, pretend that I know nothing and need to know everything. Make it simple is possible.
No swearing, please. Make up your own, if you can. It works for Thundercats, Transformers, and the new Voltron on Netflix.
That should do it. Feel free to prod me with any questions.

Definitely interested! Sadly the character I had originally conceived of as a WotR character is in use right now, but I am more than ok with coming up with something fresh. Not sure what yet, but I can have something up pretty soon.
Ditto on Mainer's question though. Are you looking for 1/weekday or a bit faster than that?
Asmodina
@Mainer
@Mjolbeard89
After all my planning I forgot to add this tiny little detail. I ought to kick myself. Anyway, a single post should be enough. If players decide to post more, and if it works out for everybody else, then we can post more times a day. However, if it makes for smaller less interesting posts then it's best to stick to just once a day.

Archpaladin Zousha's character here, a young Kellid who found himself transformed into a tiefling through a dark rite that killed his parents. He may not be a paladin, but he loathes the demons as much as any in Mendev, and seeks vengeance for Sarkoris, his peoples' fallen homeland! I'll bring his stats in-line with your requirements and complete his backstory tomorrow!

Quick question regarding character generation:
Do I need a drawback to take extra traits? You state we can take 3 or four, but how do you determine whether you take 3 or 4?
A fair question, and it's easily answered. There is a list of four traits, but the faith-based one is optional. If you choose not to take it then you're left with three instead of four traits. Please, no drawbacks. You'd hate to see what I'd do with them.

Now, that actually sounds like a challenge.
There's a paladin character that's been running through myhead for a while now. Might be a good chance to put him on paper.

Dotting. Its probably a no but I've got to ask, is third party stuff allowed? Dreamscarred Psionics/Path of War or Spheres of Power specifically...
As neat and interesting as they may be I am afraid that third-party material is not allowed. The main two reasons are that it tends to lean heavily towards stronger powers, and that I do not own any of the materials to reference. And, I hate having to cross websites to look up the material. Not having the physical book in my lap to flip through is a hassle.
Asmodina
@Hymenopterix – Yes! Of course! Why! Are you looking to play a rogue for all the traps to eat?
@Radavel – The adventure is focused towards good fighting evil. That's why 'I listed 'good' as the preferred alignment. If you can make it work without getting bored, then have at it.
@Mainer & EmissaryOfTheNorth & Mark Thomas 66 – An easy choice, of course.

Not a problem, just wanted to establish some boundaries for myself! :p
Didn't realize this was mythic as in Mythic until I read the player's guide earlier. I'm putting together a cavalier, probably a scout beast rider... something to that effect.
Do you have a time frame in mind for recruitment yet?

It's fine, I can do a different archetype, there should be plenty of room for Paladins in this campaign. Or even a different race; I was thinking of having my character be a distant descendant of Ragathiel, but since he was a half-fiend/half-elemental long before he was a Celestial, a descendant could easily be a Tiefling. Or an Ifrit, for that matter (though not for this campaign, since Ifrits aren't an allowed race. Unless I can talk the GM into it...)

I think we would need at least 1 cleric, and 1 arcane but thats about it, the rest could in fact be paladins

Telerin Quenya is a an elven wizard from Kyonin. Both of her parents were part of an elite and royal school of wizards whose job it was to use ancient elven magic in the defeat of Treerazor and his demons who have terrorized Kyonin. She was born under the power of the moon and had a birthmark on her ring finger. She did not get to learn what this portent meant from her parents since they were both killed by invading and raiding demons.
Raised in the Towers, she did not spent much of her time using traditional elven weapons but spent her time researching history and the planes and what her birth mark meant. When she become of age, she received a ring, left to her by her mother, the ring she wore when she died, and in the ring was an inscription which stated simply, in elven, Riftwardens. Her parents, it was revealed, were members of this organization. Though she does not know much about them, she has traveled to Kembres to learn about the Riftwarden and to learn new magic or even strike an alliance with the Riftwardens, to bring them to Kyonin to help in the fight against Treerazer.

Aberus Ocellio
CG Human (Taldan) Cleric of Sarenrae
Aberus was born in Nerosyan, and like most who lived there he was raised the church of Iomedae. His parents were devout followers, but it was the evolution of his father's faith that had the greatest influence on him. Inspired by the church's tireless fight against the demonic incursions from the Worldwound, and the knowledge that Iomedae herself was once mortal, his father gradually assumed a more active and direct role in the church's efforts. When Aberus was 10 years old he felt nothing but pride as his father began training for combat, and even more so when he father joined the Fourth Crusade as a Paladin of his goddess two years later.
His world, and his faith, completely collapsed when his father did not return. The next several years were difficult with only his mother's meager income to support them, and in those hard times both he and his mother came to feel betrayed by the church and turned away from Iomedae. While his mother rejected faith entirely, Aberus found himself drawn towards Sarenrae. The more time he spent in her church, the more he came to see that the signs of her faith had been around him for nearly all of his life, and that this was where he belonged. The path to her church had always been there, he had just not been able to see it clearly before.
Despite what had happened to his father, he still felt a pull to the Crusades against the Worldwound. It was not right to turn away from the fight just because it had claimed his father's life, and Iomadae was not at fault for what had happened: it was just that her church was perhaps a little overzealous and lacked guidance. Too many of its elders were off fighting battles, and not enough were at home instilling a responsible approach to doing the same. Maybe he could help the next Crusade by offering some temperance. And some much-needed healing, of course, in the hopes that it might save the life of someone else's mother or father.
Whie he has gotten over his bitterness and anger, he still has a slightly strained relationship with the church of Iomedae.

May as well make him a Stonelord, to continue the Paladin theme. Syncs well with Stalwart Defender, if you want that later. I'm not big on dwarves, or I'd be considering that exact route.
